It was like walking into an awesome store from years ago, everything looked fresh, the employees were helpful and polite. We go to Kentland periodically for dinner. We'll definitely be visiting this little gem again.

Just moved to Kentland on Friday, the was my first time to go shopping here. Very clean and well stocked, good prices and very friendly staff. My new place to shop.Been here 3 yrs now and I love shopping here, very friendly people always helpful. Always have what I want or need.Still shopping here great staff. But prices keep going 👆 thanks to uncle Joe!

Nice little store to go to was my first time going there because I like to drive down to kentland every once in awhile to visit. The young lady and young man were very friendly at the checkout.

A great small town grocery store! My wife and I moved here just last year and we love this store! We don't do all of our shopping here but we always seem to be able to find the things everyone else is out of here. They have decent prices and pretty much anything you need in a grocery store, even a deli for when you don't feel like making dinner!

Most of the time they have great things. Produce is good, the deli cold food has tasted more fresh as of lately. Sometimes their prices are very high on some items. Parking lot is decent.

Very very expensive but unfortunately closest grocery store when dollar general doesn't have what I need. WIC doesn't work a lot of the times here either. The staff is generally friendly. I will say their produce selection is very nice, pricey, but nice

This grocery store is amazing. Every inch is shining clean. The selection is exceptional for a small community store. Each employee is polite and accommodating. They even have a deli consisting of freshly made sandwiches, salads, rotisserie chicken or fried chicken, fresh soups, donuts and coffee.

A pleasant change from the big box stores. Carries almost anything a big-box store does but is personable, clean, and comparably priced. The parking is also wonderful since you don't have to park in the next state just to get to the front door. I would recommend this store to anyone

Grew up spending some Summers and Christmas breaks in Kentland and we would walk up to the Food King. It was like stepping back into my childhood. Every single employee was really nice and two of them really went out of their way to help me. Its not the 50,000 sq foot giant markets I'm used to but they had everything on my list (many at a little bit higher price than I'm used to...but its a small store in a small town so that is understandable). If I lived here I would try to support them as much as possible. Thanks all!

Store was nice and clean and the employees were very nice. But the prices are killer..sometimes the sale price items are cheaper elsewhere at a regular price. Good to shop if you need an Item you forgot. Be a smart consumer and compare prices.

This is a great place to stop to grab a few things. Like most small town grocery stores, the prices are much more expensive, which is the reason I didn't give it 5 stars.I love the deli here. Fried chicken, delicious salads, meats and more. The fresh meats from the butcher are especially good, and I stop here specifically if I'll be grilling. Everyone who works here is friendly, polite, and helpful. Murphy's helps contribute to why I love Kentland so much.

The cashier could have provided a friendlier greeting, or, any greeting at all, really. But, for a small town, the store was very nice and well-kept with a large variety of items. The meats were all priced very reasonably.

Prices are pretty high only close grocery store around us some of the employee are nice and some that are judgemental and try talk about you with there mask on like we couldn't hear you and at that time they had to have a mask on now different story

Place is nice and clean. Great selection, but feel like they take advantage of being the only grocery store in town and jack up prices. 1.19 for a yellow bell pepper is outrageous.

Nice store. Need to stock meat cooler a little better on Saturday. Still a better store than where I live now. Better management. Might have to drive there once a month just for the meat. Other items good prices too.

Very friendly staff. The most and produce is fresh. They always have the Ore-Ida products that I like. They also consistently have decaffeinated Diet Coke. They also have a good variety of groceries.

I'm from Kankakee and I have a disabled friend in Donovan I'm helping out so I get some of his groceries in this store. All the employees I came in contact with were helpful and friendly. The store was nice and I love going to Kentland to eat as well. I shall return soon.

Everyone was friendly and helped me find what I was looking for. A wonderful deli selection. The old fashioned loaf was fresh sliced!!! Pea salad is yummy!

What a great little down-home small town grocery store. it's kind of like cheers when you walk in there everybody knows everyone, except for me, cuz I'm a stranger in town and they knew it. but they are friendly and helpful to prices are good and the deli items are awesome!

They had signs on the door requiring patrons to wear masks, but their employees weren't wearing masks. Overall the store was a cute, small town grocery store that was well kept, but I wasn't impressed with the disregard for PPE.

Very friendly, prices aren't too bad but you have to remember this is a small town grocery store. But the meat is great!! And the deli is reasonably priced.

This store is convenient but as far as any privacy goes, forget about it. If you use WIC it's a 2 to 4 person called up there to very loudly discuss about a WIC transaction. They do not carry most sizes of hot cereal that is wic acceptable. Most cashiers get extremely confused when a WIC item doesn't go on and have no idea how to fix it.
