We recently moved to the area, we decided to give this restaurant a try for the first time after moving in. We started off by ordering fried pickles, they are spears not chips. It came with ranch dipping sauce. They were delicious and hot! We also had cheese curds that came with a marinara. The cheese curds were good, but not as crispy as the pickles. My husband got the chicken bow tie soup. He enjoyed the soup. I tried the cream of mushroom and spinach soup. It was pretty good, I never would have thought about adding spinach to cream of mushroom. For the children we ordered chicken tenders. The sauce was a little too spicy for our youngest. I had ordered the turkey and bacon club. The bacon was forgotten. My husband ordered a patty melt. He enjoyed it. Overall it was a good experience. I thought the food was reasonably priced. The inside is a little old and dingy. The carpeting could definitely use an upgrade. It was very worn down. The servers that we had interacted with seemed friendly.Vegetarian options: Salads.Dietary restrictions: Accommodations can be made since the food is assembled there and not prepackaged.Parking: Parking is in a lot just off the main street.Kid-friendliness: They have highchairs and booster seats.Wheelchair accessibility: There are several handicapped spots close to the door.

This was my first time eating at Good Table. I ordered the shrimp dinner. Overall the food was average. In my opinion the downside was the condiments. When I opened the sour cream to put on my potato, it needed stirred due to separation. Unfortunately, I tipped it up onto my potato before realizing the problem. The ketchup bottle was nasty, didn’t want to touch it. Lastly the cocktail sauce was the consistency of jello. Server said, you have to stir it. Picture is after I stirred. I didn’t use the sour cream, ketchup or cocktail sauce.

What a gem! Food made from scratch and most of it was excellent. Service was excellent the first time. Soup was the standout, can't wait to return and try more. We did, but the service was not good the last time.Parking: Around the restaurant.

We stopped by when it was very busy, but our server Jennifer was so kind and helpful. Despite one of our party members having a food allergy and needing to ask several questions about ingredients, the service was wonderful and made the dining experience not stressful. Would definitely recommend!Dietary restrictions: There were very few dairy-free options, but our server was wonderful about checking which things would be safe to eat.

You just can't beat this place! So many daily specials and all-u-can-eat options. The beer battered cod fillets are to die for! Service staff are always incredible and you will always feel at home! Food is absolutely the best around and worth your drive to get here! You won't be disappointed! This is my go-to spot for classic homestyle cooking!

The food is always good and has a reasonable price. The night we went, we called ahead because there were 16 of us. Our server was new and tried very hard. The experienced server was extremely rude and shouted over our table to another table, talking about how she didn't have any help. Then they turned a basketball game on the radio so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. Our bill was almost $300. May check another place next time we go out as a family.

First time in this lovely place. They have a really good service and to be honest the food is great and quality the same, it has a really reasonable price and the amount of food is vast. Also the local good mood can be felt there; I will really recommend the place as it was recommended to me. 👌🏻😁

Quaint, quiet, friendly neighborhood restaurant. Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday. Seated right away and waitress came over not too long after. She was efficient and friendly.Good food like how Mom would make it-- fluffy pancakes, loaded omelets, and salty corn beef hash 😋 Prices are very reasonable.Just be careful when you use the "facilities." All their latches are broken. The whole time I was psychologically freaking out thinking some stranger is going to walk in and see me in my throne; and it hasn't been cleaned for a while.Definitely go and have some breakfast. It's a nice place.

Service was quick and food was alright. Ordered 2 egg breakfast platter, with a side of sausage gravy. When I requested the cup of sausage gravy the waitress made a scene as if though I was trying to pull something over on her. She claimed because I got a biscuit with my egg platter that she was going to charge me for a half order of biscuits and gravy vs the stated price on the menu for a cup of sausage gravy. I asked if the menu was correct, because it clearly lists a price for a cup of sausage gravy. I prefer sausage gravy on hash browns, especially when they are less than impressive like they served me here.Just a little embarrassing when a waitress calls you out as if though you are doing something wrong, rather than just ordering off of their menu.

My coworker and I ate supper there 2 nights in a row, and we had an overall good experience both times. I ordered their 12oz broiled ribeye, and it was a bit dry on one end, but not the other. The second night I got the fried chicken which was pretty good, but had a bit of a strange flavor to it, pretty sure it had something to do with the oil. The staff is very friendly and seem to work together well

I wish I could give this restaurant 10 stars it's that good! This food was cooked to perfection as I ordered it! I eat out on the road 42 weeks a year and this is by far one of my favorite places to eat! This is what's left of a breakfast enough for two meals maybe even three! Breakfast was a whole $8 where are you going to get that deal from a chain? Support mom and pop shops!

Surprisingly GREAT small town restaurant with BIG TIME service, excellent food, plenty of choices, daily specials, and most include desert with meals. Prices VERY reasonable! I ordered veal cutlet (my favorite) with mashed potatoes, and a salad requesting no croutons, dressing or cheese. Served as ordered. Companion had roast pork with fried potatoes a fully loaded salad and garlic dressing. We both enjoyed an ice cream dish (our choice of flavors) for dessert. Both of us were happy, leaving full, but taking a couple of extra slices of cherry pie to go. The staff was superb, being COURTEOUS and FRIENDLY! Felt like stepping back into a truly 'customer service' focused era. Left a generous well deserved tip. Definitely will travel this way again.

My husband and I both had the Turkey Manhattan. Delicious! Real smashed potatoes and so much turkey! We could have split the meal and still taken some home. A cup of soup also came with the meal. Our waitress was so nice and the food came out quickly and hot! We will be heading to the Good Table again whenever we pass through Kentland, IN!
