We were in town visiting family and haven't had time to take our pup to get a good grooming in back home. We scheduled an appointment for Darcy and she very well loved and taken great care of at her grooming appointment. Darcy now feels confident and beautiful after leaving today! We are very happy with the results and the care our pup received 😊

Perfect place you get your dogs hair cut. This is our first time using Champs & Tramps and we love it. Compared to the last place we took our poodle this was light years better and cheaper as well. Highly recommend this place and we will continue to go here.

I have been taking my Golden Retriever Hank here since he was a puppy, every six weeks. Close to 90$ each time. Our last visit was just that, our last. We put medicine in his ears for mild infections he gets. Meds run out of his ear and build up an oil appearance on his fur. Took him in to get groomed, told them about his ear hair, thinking they would comb it out or cut it out with some scissors. Nope, they shaved him to the skin and one side was so bad he has sever razor burn. Worst part is they neither called us to ask to shave him bald like that or even told us when we picked him up.

I have a 3 year old full blooded German Shepherd who is not particular with adults, she gets very defensive and trys to "protect me" when I am with her and we are around other adults so I definitely understand why it's better for owners to not be present during grooming, my babe would have a freak out the whole time if I were there. She has bad anxiety and this was her very first professional groom ever so I was nervous leaving her that morning but when I went to pick her up that afternoon she was happy as ever and they said she did great which was a big surprise to me! They made my "German shedder" look and smell great and I was so happy they had no problems with her behavior! The deshedding really helped since she was loosing her winter coat and getting more hair than usual all over the house, definitely worth it!

I recently got a dog that had very long nails and he hates his feet messed with. I was dreading getting them clipped but they were very quick and knowledgeable. I didn't need an appointment either. I highly recommend them.

Terrible. I was accused of having screaming boy when I asked to schedule service. I don't have children. I left without service. I was repeatedly accused of my dog having bit the worker. The manager agreed. Saying they knew it was me because I had my little boy with me.They described the incident involving the child as screaming and throwing a fit when "my" dog bit them.The manager then said they confuse customers all the time.I was apologized to and when I told the owner that the worker needed counseling. She became irrate and told me to take my dog to the $5.00 groomer in Kendallville. As you see, no reply from the owner on this write up!

Amazing service, got my puppy from them. She starts training right away and pays so much attention to them and all her dogs. The boarding is amazing and the haircut are definitely worth the price!!!

I take my two cats here every year to be boarded while we are on vacation. They do a great job watching them. They are always clean and well cared for when they are returned to us. I would suggest leaving your cats with them anytime.

Took our senior Black Lab, & our Adult German Shepherd in for a spa day. Bathed, trimmed, and spoiled rotten.They were so happy to get pampered and cleaned up.Both of them have really soft fur now.

I never write reviews but thought others should know what to expect before leaving your pets unattended here..I've never owned a dog until few weeks ago. I took my goldendoodle to get his nails cut and to see about getting a appt to get his hair cut. This is the main thing (although there were quite a few) that you couldn't pay me to leave my dog unattended with them. As I was talking at the counter to who I'm going to assume was the owner asking questions about different things and cuts, I look behind her over in the corner there was a dog on one of those tables drying with a noose around its neck. I was shocked that Noone was supervising the little dog. I asked right then if she ever had one try and jump off and hang their self, her reply was "no I know which ones I can walk away from!!" Animals are unpredictable so unless you want to take the chance on picking your dog up in a doggie bag I'd stay far far away from this place. After seeing that I asked if I could stay and watch she immediately said "no, that she don't know any groomer that would ever allow that!" When I asked then how would I know if he'd be okay she replied "because I like dogs, I wouldn't do this job if I didn't." Most of society goes to jobs they hate year after year!! The last thing is that just adds to how they do ppl when I took him in and asked if they had time to do a nail trim they said yeah, before they even took him back I asked if they had anything for Friday to get his hair cut they said yeah. Then after I pay $10 for the nail cut then she tells me that nail trim is included in the grooming price. I said oh so do you knock off ten dollars since you just did them and won't need to again (it was Wenday) "Nope!!" Rather than just telling me when I asked about an appointment before they cut his nails that if I wanted to wait it's included...the very next groomer I called (a lady in Albion) said I was more than welcome to stay and watch, it'd only take her an hour not 4 like champ & tramp said it would take them, cause they do 5 dogs an hour and that's a quote for another lady that works there. She was also 20 dollars cheaper than champs and tramps from what they told me it would be cause he was a puppy!! Save your dogs, money, and time just go elsewhere!!!

If you have a mix breed dog, do NOT board here. Would not let my husband help acclamate our dogs for doggy day care and called after 2 hours to come and get them. They need to reconsider their name!
