I absolutely love this place! I have been bringing my 8month old Doxie puppy here for daycare, once or twice a week for a couple months now. Roxie gets super excited soon as she realizes we're there! She's made lots of friends and is always super happy to be dropped off and worn out when I pick her up! Jewel is awesome she squeezes Roxie in for last minute nail trims and is so gentle when handling her. All the staff are very friendly and so happy to see Roxie when I bring her in. I know she well taken care of and watched closely.

Great business. I only need my dog's nails trimmed, but have seen many of Jewel's cuts are wonderful. My only piece of constructive criticism would be for them to hire someone specifically to take in dogs and answer the phone, in order for Jewel to concentrate on her work.

I have been taking my cockapoo here for the last few years. I finally found a place that does a consistent AMAZING job in the area. I love that I can drop him off in the morning and pick him up after I finish work. He is always finished early, but I have never felt pressured to rush to get him. It might cost more here than other places, but it is worth the price. Jewels and her daughter (think it's her daughter) are so friendly and professional. They know my dog when I drop him and I don't even need to say how I want him groomed. My dog is old and can be difficult to deal with, but loves coming here and getting pampered. Now my mom even takes her two pups here! I definitely recommend :)

Been going here for a while, around 2-3 times a year. My dog is a medium sized, long haired rescue, and a bit on the skittish side, but she always comes home happy and beautiful! Had to cancel recently, and Jewel was able to get her in the next week.Stopped coming into this groomer after moving cities. The last time she was groomed, I got shamed by the groomer for my dog being too skinny. Like, girl straight up made me feel guilty. I did end up talking to the vet about it, who assured me that my dog was skinny, but healthy. It’s just her nature, and she has always been that way.Plus, new groomer is half the price.

Awesome experience. My puppy was well taken care of. He smelt wonderful. We drove 30 + min for them to fit us in their busy schedule and it was well worth it. Matter of fact I'm about to schedule an appointment now lol.

Took my baby girl, Luna, to get groomed yesterday and I wanted her shaved as much as possible. When I dropped her off , the lady that worked there was very sweet and seemed very patient with Luna. Luna is a very mellow dog, but she gets nervous really easily. When we picked her up, we were so happy with the results! She looked like she had been very well taken care of, she looked great, feels so soft, and I know she's happier, too! Excellent job!

Jewels is such a great groomer. She is such a blessing. I have an elderly yorkie and she always tries to do her best, he is nearly blind and deaf and can be quite the handful. We went to another groomer in Jeffersonville before her and the last time we went we could literally see fingers on his tummy from where they had been holding him. I highly recommend Jewels!

Someone on here said that they were told 50.00 and then 65.00. Jewels has always charged 65.00 and she is well worth it. She grooms my Yorkie and he always looks beautiful when grooomed. He seems happy with the experience when he's picked up.

Took my dog there to get a simple clip of his nails. He just had a tissue injury on his back left paw so I warned the lady that he may be a bit skittish when she gets back there. Well the moment arrived and he went to try to push her away. She lovingly calmed him down and i didn't hear one Yelp out of him. He loved the experience. I will bring my dog back again.

Took my Golden Retriever to have her undercoat removed. Along with her nails trimmed and all the typical cleaning services. STRICTLY advised Jewel NOT to shave my beautiful girls coat!! They notated over the phone the services she was to receive and again when I dropped her off that morning!!! Pick her up EIGHT hours later to find my dog, once a Golden now with the coat of a LAB!!!I told the attendant SEVERAL times we just wanted a TRIM to the coat NOTHING should be shaved... NO razor needed. Not only was the trimmer used, her coat is uneven!!! They even missed several spots on her belly!!Thank goodness hair grows backThoroughly disappointed!! I wouldn't recommend this dog groomer to ANYONE!!

This place is absolutely amazing.....after deciding to bring our 2 big babies back indoors to live (huskys), we needed them bathed and groomed at the last minute, jewels, the owner took us at the last minute and saved the day.....our babies are now cleaned and all new stuff to now live in doors! Needless to say I was very impressed with the service and compassion this establishment provided to our family! I have already booked their next grooming appointment in 6 weeks!!!! Thank you jewels to all you and your establishment!!!!!

This poor lady has to endure my three doxies!! She has to hold them while trying to clip their nails and she does an awesome job at it! When I see what she has to go through just to keep them in the table and from nipping at her I’m so amazed she doesn’t even lose her cool!!! I feel so bad and embarrassed as the owner of my three boys they are so naughty and she patiently takes care of them. I trust her completely with my boys, I just wish her sake that they behave for once!!

Took our 2 dogs their...never left them at place over the weekend before so I was lil nervous. Weekend went great they did everything I asked...very clean very professional tons of room for them to run and have to have fun we will definitely bring our dogs back again.

I took both of my Shih Tzu dogs to get groomed and was quoted $50 and told it is only extra if the dogs have fleas. They didn't have fleas, but did have some matted hair. Nothing was said to me about the price changing when I dropped them off, nor when I called to check on the time they would be done and when I picked them up I was told It was $65 per dog for a total of $130.00. To me it is bad business to not communicate a change in price to a consumer. They look great, but it's highly doubtful that I will ever be back. Very disappointed in the lack of communication.

I brought my German shepard here and she was amazing with her! It's a private family ran business and her kids were extremely nice and professional. I have found my private groomer and even more excited my furbaby is getting taken care of by someone who is passionate about what she does. Would HIGHLY recommend jewels to anyone!!

OMG I can't thank you guys enough. I took in my 5th dog 2weeks ago, a little shih tzu her hair was so long and matted that she had to be shaved, her nails were so long that some were curled. She smelled horrible! But you ladies did an amazing job. She smells amazing now her nails are on point and her new haircut makes her feel a lot better I can tell. I can finally see her cute little face which makes me melt. Forever customer thanks for all you guys do

Preston always looks so handsome when I pick him up. I'm sure my big boy is a handful, but the staff still manage to give him a great cut. The price for this big boy (Golden Retriever) is quite reasonable. Thanks Jewel's Posh Paws. ❤

I took my great pyrenees to jewels today ro get what was probably his first cut and probably bath. We got him last year we are his 3rd family in 4yrs. He was gross when i took him this morning dirty and way over grown. I pick him up today and he looks fantastic well worth tbe $100 that i paid. Everyone else wanted at least $200 so thank you jewels i will continue to bring him back. Might i add that when we got him we tryed cutting his hair but wow jewels was awesome. I am very happy with the recommendation from my neighbor. Just cant get over how good he looks/smells. Forever customer.

She works in my two cats for nail times and she is so great with them, even when one growls and hisses. She even cleans out the ears and trims paw hair and very reasonable. I recommend her to anyone.

We took our German Shepherd and Australian Shepherd to Jewel's last weekend and the following is our experienceI dropped our dogs off in the morning and instructed Julie's assistant that we wanted the full service for both dogs and warned them about the tendency of my Aussie to freak out when on certain collars.I received a call from Julie around 1 o'clock that while my German Shepherd was behaved, my Aussie was giving her a hard time on the table during the haircut and asked if I would drop what I was doing and come help her cut my dogs hair.Upon arriving to Jewel's she asked me if my Aussie bites at himself because he had some wounds on his crotch area. He does not bite himself. She was cutting his hair with clippers with no guard on them and had cut his mid section several times and was bleeding. THIS is why he was freaking out every time she started the clippers but tried telling me he was only afraid of the sound.It was apparent that before we had gotten there she had nicked my dog several times, leading him to be horrified at the sound of the clippers.While I completely understand my dog made it impossible to get his hair cut, the big issue for me was when I asked if she got everything done on my German Shepherd to which she replied "honestly with the chaos of everything going on we forgot".So I paid full price for two dogs even though neither dog got the blueberry facial, neither got anal glands expressed, neither got their teeth cleaned (which Julie claimed is an extra service I have to ask for even though I know two people who go here and never have to specify they want the teeth cleaning)The main issue I have is just with the fact that she found it necessary to charge us full price for a slew of services my German Shepherd didn't receive and her lack of honesty about where the wounds on my Aussie came from.
