I have taken both my dog and cat to the Animal Medical Center of Dubois multiple times! They are wonderful and take very good care of my animals! They take their time to explain everything they can to you and always answer any questions I have. I know my animals receive the best care possible when I bring them here!

I am absolutely impressed by everyone here, they are all good & amazing people. I have a 8 & 1/2 year old chihuahua who generally doesn't like many other people. She met them all at Animal Med center of Dubois, the Vet & his staff immediately made Iggy more comfortable & helped to calm her nervousness. They pet her, consoled & plied her with treats to her joy. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of the very best veterinarian in southern Indiana.(Update) Her surgery went well a few weeks later and she's now on the mend & doing great. Everyone at this office went above and beyond.

They are quite literally the best. I have two extremely anxious dogs and they still treat them like the best dogs in the world. Dr Molly is incredibly attentive and answers every question and concern that we have. We have also never had a bad tech, they are always super loving, even when my dogs are whining! I live very close to them, but even if I didn’t I’d drive hours to take my dogs here! I wish I could give a million stars!

The entire staff are amazing and they spend time with you and your furbaby. They actually care about your furbaby. They are a little pricey but are worth every penny. I'm so glad my daughter referred me to them.

My friends had to put down their puppy mill rescue puppy. The staff and doctor showed great empathy and affirmation of their decision. The only disappointment I have is that all the clinics in the area do not have a doctor from the clinic on emergency standby. Since there are so many dairy, beef cattle, and horses, I found it very unsatisfactory.

Outstanding facility, clean smelling, awesome friendly and professional staff.Dr's are wonderful and knowledgeable of course.So thankful we can take our doggie kids...already have developed a sense of trust with their lives on day one. Above and beyond on our medical emergency.You need to get established first so don't wait for the unexpected.

We came here for a reason that no one wants. We are still fairly new to the area, and something was suddenly wrong with our furbaby, and we needed to be seen urgently and last minute in the day. They accommodated us into their schedule, and worked with us on what became a heartbreaking day. Everyone was kind, professional, and understanding as we had to say goodbye to our friend, pet, family member. A couple weeks later we received a very sweet card in the mail with notes from the staff. It's too soon to adopt a new member into our family, but we will definitely be returning here for our future care when the time is right again.

Dr. Mehringer has been our pet's doctor since we arrived back home 5 years ago. Today we lost our beloved Japanese Mastiff, Beauregard Parrish. She took excellent care of him to the very end. Her compassion and calm demeanor in the face of severe adversity were comforting. I would recommend her every time, if asked. Amy and I are grateful for all that she has done for our family.

After 20+ years of being blessed to know Dr 'J', Dr Lori and watching Dr Molly come into the practice, my fur kids thru the years have had THE best care possible (While out of town Dr Johnson even HELPED treat our Maddy from 1100 miles away when we couldn't find the same level of care or compassion locally.) I could go on & on about our experiences with AMC - emergency surgeries, dangerous respiratory infections, cancer, kidney failure, in the back door at Purdue Vet School, etc. AMC has been there for us thru it ALL and I could write a novel (a best-seller at that) on my thoughts, experiences & opinions of the ENTIRE medical staff, techs, etc. EVERY pet patient is the most important patient & EVERY pet parent is treated with the upmost (above & beyond at that) respect, compassion & care. I'm an old lady. I've lived many places in my life with many, many pet kids. And I've met MANY vets along this journey as well. AMC is about as close to perfect as you can get. And I'll sum this up with - The Dr's at AMC will never promise you a 'miracle' - but what they WILL promise you & your companions is COMPASSION. We recently moved back to Indiana after living out of state and needed to quickly find a new vet when one of our cats developed an abscess. They got us in the next day and Dr. Mehringer had to surgically remove it. Dr. Mehringer and the staff were incredibly kind and Luna received excellent care. We are so thankful we found this practice and will continue coming here with both of our cats!
