I was so happy when I picked up 2 beautiful (full price) flower baskets. I knew that it is hard for me to pay almost $80 for it, but in my spring mood I also got the stock of small flowers ($25 ) for a tray. And some other things, about $130 total (incl tax). My only relief was to know that I have Ace Hardware coupon for $20 off $100, and some other small $5. I was hoping to combine, knowing that I have all full priced items. To my unpleasant surprise, the female cashier told me that I can NOT use any coupons because the tray of small flowers ($25) are “discounted price, because ..it is a tray? ?How to I suppose to know that? Nothing on the tag or around said anything about a tray been as “wholesale” or something. Anyway, after giving me a hard time and refusing to give me a legit discount, she got some tall guy in his 50-60 (manager) ?, who reprimanded me saying that “he can not put discounted price items' tag ” on All the items around (acknowledging this way that there was nothing disqualifying my purchase). It does not make sense to put all the nasty things that I’ve heard from him and a cashier in front of the line of all people in the store…I’ve returned all the items (but one $4) and left the store, knowing that I will NEVER come back again.. and the flowers are perishable items..

I buy everything I can here. It’s always a really, really good experience. I haven’t had any difficult requests, but I’ve observed several customers dealing with a challenge, and I’ve seen how well the staff cares for them. I’m confident I’ll get the same great treatment, when it’s my turn.

The kindest and friendliest staff! Went tonight for some wasp spray and they showed us right where to go and which product was best! They even gave my 5 year old a sucker and it made his night! The customer service cannot be beaten.

I think it’s weird that no one of color works here. I know personally several people that are in the immediate neighborhood applied and never got the job. They can’t say they haven’t hired anyone new either because I’ve seen it. Been there over 4 years and not ONE person. Pretty disgusting. Do better

Wanted to relate an exceptional experience at this Ace location. My father and I went to the store to get parts to repair a fixed flag pole with a pulley at the top. No "kit" available, but an employee, Barry, took interest in our project, and helped us get the appropriate parts to succeed. Very special treatment by Barry, and much appreciated! Thanks, and we will be back to this fine store!

Just bought a new car but the screws used on the license plate were the wrong size. Stopped in this morning just as store opened. Hadn't taken 10 steps inside before one person greeted me and another asked if they could help. The gentleman walked out to my car in the parking lot, told me exactly the size I needed, walked back in and found the screws, took me up to the cash register, and offered help if I needed it. All this for a $1.10 sale. If this isn't service excellence I don't know what is.

The store was tidy and very well stocked. There were a lot of cleaning supplies I haven't seen at big box retailers for a fraction of the cost of purchasing them online, which was a pleasant surprise since I just went in for firewood!

I am so thankful for Barry. I was in a serious bind and he could have just told me to purchase items I didn’t need. Instead he took care of me and when I came back to the store days later he made sure everything had worked out for me. His customer service is impeccable and I’m truly thankful.

Nobody seemed glad to be working there, there were huge pallets all over the floor blocking what I shopping for. An employee asked if I needed help finding something then just went back to what he was doing after I told him what I needed, it was so weird and awkward.

Was given a hard time about not having my Ace card by an older employee. He apparently input my number wrong and I didn't get my points or discounts. The very next day a much younger employee input my same number given and said my name with a smile. He on the other hand was very helpful and kind.

We love this hardware store (especially Randy). Tonight, we came in a little late (didn’t realize the closing time) and the young man who helped us was so knowledgeable and patient and friendly. He didn’t rush us, he didn’t even tell us it was past closing and he couldn’t help us. He wanted to make sure we were happy and all set in our house improvement task.We didn’t catch his name, but he was there Saturday, March 6 at 7:00 pm if that helps. If there’s somewhere I can give him a review for his performance, please let me know. He deserves all the praise and kudos. Thank you to the whole crew tonight that had to wait on us, but especially him.

Berry was a great help! I came into Ace to get a duplicate car key made. After calling multiple locksmiths with prices ranging from $160 to $229. Berry made me a duplicate key in under less than 15 minutes and under $20!

Good, friendly service and surprisingly wide range of goods for a small store. Particularly love looking at plants and shrubs in the outdoor garden, with the resident bees and butterflies helping me choose the most popular plants this summer! Highly recommended.

This store is convenient for my husband I, and we frequent this location often.For the 4 years we've lived in this neighborhood, the staff of this location have consistently given the BEST customer experience. Every time I visit, someone offers to help. And whether I need help or not, they are polite and available; but never hover.If the location doesn't have what we need, they offer an alternative solution, or to search inventory at another location.If I have a question about application with my current neess, they're quick to offer their knowledge on tips/tricks, best practices.Sometimes their prices are a little higher than a competitor; but for me, its worth the "like family" experience.I have NEVER felt anything, but welcomed & valued in this location.If this location has what we need, my husband and I will give them our patronage; FIRST.We highly recommend!

As with each White's Ace hardware location, the Geist location has anything you might need hardware related along with grilling/meat smoking supplies, spices etc, garden products and nostalgic sodas. The staff is always more than willing to help you in any way possible and the store is very clean and well kept, not run down. It's one of those stores where you "didn't expect to find "this" here" but you're glad you did.

This is my go to for the quick shop hardware stuff. I have been here several times, and every time they have had what I needed. 3 Amp fuse for furnace, Shark Bites, plumbing couplers, Ohio State door key and Sawzall blades. They have a lot of different supplies in here and they utilize their space well to make it visible. I will be continuing to come here for my project needs.

I'm a huge fan of ACE Hardware to begin with, but this location particularly is excellent.They have a wide selection, very friendly and helpful staff, and they make sure that any questions you have are answered.If you need to call the store, you can reach a person immediately, which is something Home Depot can't ever say.Highly recommend this place for basic house tasks.
