I've spent little time here, but it's a warehouse sized store, filled mostly with pet supplies, but also some animals for sale, too: lots and lots of fish, dogs, birds, rabbits, idk what all else? Fast service on my visit.

Imagine this - your hamster gets stuck in one of the holes of a snap on toolbox and you have tried everything to take him out but you can not succeed no matter what. Well that happened yesterday, my brother's hamster got stuck in his tool box due to somebody leaving the door open. If you didn't know a snap on toolbox is very difficult almost impossible to disassemble. Well our friend who was a former worker there told us to take the tool box (Which is a huge box) to uncle bill's. So we did. The whole staff helped and did everything they could to help our little friend come out alive. Thanks to all the staff and a broken tool box he came out. My brother is going to take him to the vet today. I want to especially thank Scott (a former firefighter) for being quick on his feet and using all of his tools to take him out. I am especially happy that everyone there didn't give up on our little friend. Thank you so much :) definitely deserve more than 5 stars but that is as high I can rate! They also have really cute dogs there!

We come here all the time because they are closer, and the roaches and crickets are reasonably priced. My daughter has a leopard gecko. A few weeks ago, we purchased a puppy. They had her name as Chelsea and we renamed her Bella. The dogs there are extremely overpriced but she's beautiful. Yesterday, I received a text from my daughter that she is pooping blood. Then she threw up last night. I plan on calling the store because I hope I wasn't sold a sick puppy. We have only had her a few weeks. Their puppy package was high and for the price of these dogs, it should be included along with a puppy starter pack (imjs). We were told she was that price because she had been there the longest. She was asleep but my daughter got her to wake up and we fell in love. She's very smart and my kids love her. I was told she's up-to-date with her shots and had to pay extra money for a shot and her microchip that she already had (yeah ikr) but now I have a bigger concern that we purchased an expensive sick puppy. I don't want to return her but this is ridiculous. We have another puppy (1 yr old) and we don't want him to get sick. I will be calling Uncle Bill's in the morning.

Where were the bags of Wild Bird seed? I don't have a parakeet. I needed the backyard bird seed. Where was the larger containers for ten to twenty pounds of wild bird seed? Do you carry Hummingbird food?

Uncle Bill's Pet Centers have a great supply of food, and other products for your pets that most stores do not have. The only thing I don't like about the store is the breeding there. I purchased a guinea pig there, which was supposed to be a male to be a cage mate with my other male. It was also a solid white guinea pig which I learned is a result of improper breeding. Well my male and my other male(female) breed. I wondered why my white guinea pig was terrified of the other guinea pig. I picked it up one day and the stomach moved. I took my guinea pig back to uncle Bill's who confirmed my guinea pig was a female and very much pregnant. They offered to exchange her for another piggy but we were attached to her. It was a mess, I had three male piggies and one female, I couldn't put them together unless I wanted more piggies so I had to buy another cage, and everything for her. My guinea pig had a female guinea pig but because my guinea pig was a resistive trait guinea pig, the piggy she had also had this trait and was born with no teeth and blind, uncle Bill's offered to take her off our hands but I declined because I knew they would kill her, they said she would only live a few days. She lived a year. If you buy a pet from there just be careful.

Very disappointed in the treatment for the puppies. Couldn't love on any of them. They had feces on them and you could tell they were in distress from neglect. Please clean their cages and take better care of them.

My son just A bearded dragon three weeks ago and it is now passed away. Even though he has had to sign a paper stating.That that he only had two weeks to return it if something was wrong.. I don't feel that that is right after paying 100 plus dollars for the pet. We asked alot of questions about the pet before leaving the store. They wasn't very Educated on these pets . It only ate 1 cricket in 3wks. Very disappointing.

Friendly staff, most are knowledgeable of what they sell. The ones that aren't should stop acting like they know what they're talking about and refer customers to the employees that do know what they're talking about. The remodel looks great!

Customer service at this particular area sucks waited 15 minutes. Ask for help no one ever came three employees were upfront lollygagging and having a conversation instead of helping customers.

I went to get insects for my phidippus regius jumping spider. They had like zero information for me even though they had everything there I needed. And also.... I wouldn't recommend buying their crickets or meal worms. They have mites. My poor Lucy was a breeders spider that was never in the wild or exposed to anything. Within a week of giving her their insects as food she was infested with mites and passed away yesterday. And I'm heart broken.

Still rebuilding after their fire. Not a big selection of fish yet, but they are slowly rebuilding their stock. Glad they're back!!!They are our "go-to" when we need something out of the ordinary or expert advice. We appreciate the knowledgeable staff and clean facilities! Both the West and South stores are great! Thanks for serving our communities and our pets! You have been a part of our love for our fur/fin/feather babies for many years. <3

Other than the place often smells bad, many prices are high, and they are overloaded with birds…. The staff are always kind and helpful. We buy feeder mice and rats and with the rewards they are cheaper than other big box stores around.

I drove from Clayton, IN to Uncle Bill's. Worth the trip. The employees were knowledgeable and kind. Treated me very well. I traded my Pleco and bought more fish.

Waited about half an hour watching this employee, Lose lizards on the floor and behind the shelves with an other customer. To be told they couldn't sell me a pinky. I use to love this place.

Nice store . Welcoming staff. Plenty of parking . The crickets near the front of the store is so convenient. Especially when all you go there for are the crickets for your leopard gecko. Will return . Thank you !

Great place to shop for pets and supplies. The staff is very helpful and usually very knowledgeable and they have pretty much everything at reasonable prices. It’s about the only place to go for pet supplies.

I got a mouse from there Thursday September 14,2023 and my snake ate it and two days later she passed away. If i could lower it to ZERO i would.. i do not recommend
