The deals are always amazing it's the store itself that I tend to have issues with. As if it doesn't have enough employees even when thousands of people apply a day. Sucks when I'm going to look for specific items and they're in boxes mid isle as if the stocker decided to take a two hour break thirty minutes in. Then by the time they do manage to get it on the shelves, it's gone again. Though they do direct you to better deals, up sale and help you find specific items as needed which is a major plus for me as far as customer service. And they talk to you like family and not just a random.

Unless you like eating pastries that are like a week old or spending a bit more than you probably thought you might. This place is only good in the fact that it's the closest grocery store nearby to where I live and I go to if I don't want to ride the bus for another 35 minutes one way.

Its ok if you just need a few things but this store is in dire need of renovation and other upgrades, But how can you call your business SAVE-A-LOT when most of your prices are much higher than your competitors? So exactly who is saving a lot by shopping here? It must be the owner or possibly the employee's because i know i have payed almost double for the same products at other stores so it sure isn't the customers.Update: I'm in the area quite often and something I've noticed more than half the time is that there are carts all over the place after hours, surely they have someone to collect these carts before the store closes, I've even seen these carts on side streets and in nearby fields or on sidewalks, But i have made management aware of carts I've seen on the side of the railroad tracks behind tha building, which I'm sure are the result of the homeless but at least 6 carts are up there still, eventually they are going to run out of working carts for customers and then what? My suggestion is bring in the carts before closing and people wont take them!Oh and one last thing that is just a suggestion, The food that is still good that is thrown in the dumpster i think should be placed in boxes or bags and sat NEXT to the dumpster so homeless and others wont have to climb in the dumpster and throw trash all over the place trying to get to the food, And locking the gates on the dumpster won't work to stop it because when people are hungry they will do anything to fill that void, And no gate or chain is going to stop that, It has to be better than someone hungry stealing from the store.

The store shelves were not very well stocked at all. Items that were on sale were depleted. Employees were sloth like and noncommutative.

I used to go to save a lot as a kid and it is just terrible now. I remember as a kid, my single mom with four kids could go in there and get whatever we wanted plus the small stupid stuff. But their prices arent even good at all compared to aldi or even walmart/kroger. All the meat looked old and brown and they were not decently priced.

I have shopped Save A Lot in Rushville several times. We have found my great deals every time we shopped there. The only down fall is that they don't carry everything a regular grocery store does, BUT it's worth going there and then going to your regular grocery store.

No restroom for a customer to use. Ihave bldder problems and ended up wetting my clothes because denied the use of the restroom. How embarrassing.

My sister and husband went to this store to get a bunch of groceries like the pick five for twenty five dollars and other items that was on sell one of the guys who put the meat out was rude because my sister was looking for the best meat deal and the cashier was rude and they refused to even honor the deals even the manager was rude and told the cashier to shut them up and get them out of the store her badge said that she was the store manager this is the first time that we have been treated this poorly at this store we go to this particular store because it's literally like Three minutes from our house but after June 3rd experience we will go 15 minutes out of our way to go to another store and hope that we have a much pleasant experience at the store located at tenth and Arlington we did have one other experience here dealing with the five for twenty five but the manager on that day was really nice and she did correct the problem for us and refund what was over charged but this time the way they was treated was totally un call for

I'm so confused as to how this store works. I accidentally left my wallet in a cart and am employee tried to use all of my cards to live their life. I finally decided to go back and the little guy in Los prevention tried to accuse me of stealing. I was amused because after he approached me asking if I wanted to remove the items from my purse, a tote bag for groceries, I made sure to follow said weirdo. How about you make sure your employed peeps don't steal before you come after paying customers.

I'm so disappointed with this store after working 4 months for them. They finally fired me for taking water & some sodas. Much as I see scandalous stuff going on at that job they tripping over drinks especially how they did me when they fired me not once but twice over some dirty stuff going down at work that wasn't my fault. I have seen managers doing stuff when it comes to money, taking things home by going to the back with their stuff but me when I'm in the opening with mines they going to the back to get theirs. I could have paid for my stuff but it be late they pull the drawers when I have no time to purchase my items. They can't keep anyone anyway. As you can see I wonder why. They trying to keep it white as possible. Most black people don't even show up for work because we overworked and underpaid.

Cashier dropped my pops change letting it go not even looking in his direction then didn't even bother attempting to pick up a single cent. There were packages of bagels on the shelf and every one of them had mold on at least half of the bagels in each package. It was well beyond an oversight when there was a few of their own brand bags of bagels still half frozen so they hadn't been there long. But that mold had.. my suggestion? Go to a different location. I like save-a-lot. Just not this one.

My experience at Save A Lot was good. I found what i was looking for with ease. The store was reasonably clean. The prices are comparable to bigger stores. Some under other stores and some a little more. The cashier was super nice and very helpful. If you have never been to Save A Lot give it a go. You too might be surprized

This place is my fave. They may not have name brand stuff but they have the best cookies Ive ever had. Their customer service is amazing! Tonight the guard walked me out to my vehicle because...well, it wasnt a safe feeling moment. I appreciated that so much. Nick is the best cashier in my life

The big grocery stores regular prices, "sales" and the descriptive tricks are a joke, now even more so. That's why I'm glad that there are stores like Sav-A-Lot with their store brands to help us out. I don't go to the E. Washington & Sherman store very often, I'm not usually in the area, but I'm never disappointed when I am there. The cashier was friendly and the store was clean.

The store is not clean, produce looks very poor and not encouraging to purchase products. Paper signs are not the best options. During the time to be clean and presentable should of been taken advantage of during this time. Lack of register usage and customer service representatives was not the greatest during this visit. The placement of the store in the Indianapolis area shouldn't have to impact the store. Organization and cleanliness needs a major upgrade! Customer Service from the cashier was 100%! Great Job!

I liked the low cost discount in meat department. I wasn't sure big I'd buy some of the grocery items but some were brands I'd buy over and over. Store is great for some discount items but I don't think could do all your shopping here. The check out line is the most disappointing part of the experience. I really felt bad for cashier having to be stuck with never ending line

Save a lot has the best prices and deals. But, this particular save a lot is ghetto. Most of the female workers here are rude and obnoxious. I've only come into contact with a few of them who are friendly. I witnessed a worker tell a man standing behind us to back up and keep social distancing. This same worker turned around and said f this I'm not wearing this and took off her mask while checking us out.Last week one of the security guards an older white lady got into a fight with a man coming in. Not sure what this was about but she yelled cuss words at him while we were walking in.. in front of everyone. Very rude and inconsiderate considering I had two small children who don't need to hear that.

I can never get their 2 for a $1.00 chocolate and apple pies, their always out. I don't understand why they don't order more of them, their not a special or anything like that their an everyday price. That's the reason for this rating because overall I really have not ran into any significant problems thus far.

A no nonsense place to buy groceries. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is always security up front. The store is clean and well stocked and the pricing is very competitive. I have never been disappointed while shopping at Save A Lot. I highly recommend it.

Their meat he is not fresh and I got pictures of some of it in their packages and it is turned green in there grocery store and I have bought Sunbeam bread there and it has turned out with mold on it I was told by an employee of Aunt Molly's or something like that the manufacturers of Sunbeam bread they get all of the bread that is taken from Kroger's Meijer and other stores such as Walmart and they resell it good company

The manager was super helpful but the employees are trash, super high and rude. Make sure if you put a quarter for a cart make sure they give you one that has a quarter in it because if you ask they laugh and ignore you. Even the security guard has better customer service than the employees.

Shelves are always stocked, clean store from what i can see,friendly&helpful staff, but always have to wait forever in line because they always have only 1 cashier and 1 person on floor just wish cashier would call for help when needed or better yet hire a 3rd person ,i think corporate should definitely make sure store is staffed with enough employees to have store running in a nice flow, its the only grocery store in the area so they do have alot of customers to be able to staff the store as needed
