I dealt with such a great group of people at this store. My wife and I came in on Christmas Eve and saw one of the cats they had available for adoption in the store. We called the morning of Dec. 26th and talked to Annie who was an immense help. I live in Chicago and had to coordinate the adoption between the shelter and the store, and the team at PetValu was so helpful in communicating with the shelter and with my wife and I. By the time we came to pick up Mable it seemed like everyone working at the store bad been made aware of the situation and was doing their part to make it work. It was completely above and beyond what someone would expect. To everyone who helped us, thank you so much for being so caring and professional. Because of all your efforts we were able to give Mable her forever home!

The staff is top notch! They keep great records of my discounts & are always very helpful. The dog wash is way better than others I’ve seen too. It’s made with tile not metal so my dog seems to feel more secure

This is an awesome location. Tonight was our first time using the dog washing stations. Nathan went out of his way to make sure we understood the process and was very accommodating! It’s great to see someone who generally cares about their job, the customers and their pets!

Took our dog here today for her birthday to get a new collar and led. The manager was very nice and helped us pick out the perfect size and even gave us a tour of the store. The pet wash area was nicely designed for all pets. Customer service was amazing.

I went there after a camping trip gone awry and they helped me clean up my pup. They have such an excellent array of treats! My boy loved it and I'm going to bring him back every time he need a bath or some treats! Great place definitely recommend going!

The employees here are so knowledgeable and kind. We have been getting our dog food from this store since they opened which just happened to be around the same time our dog was put on a special diet. We loved having this store in the neighborhood and are so sad about all the US stores closing. You will be missed.

Hours clearly say 10. Get there and a sign on the door says open at 11. Closed for meeting. Why not do your meeting before or after business hours? Not a big selection for puppy toys either. The cashier was very sweet though.

This place is always amazing. The employees are great and spoil my service dog. I highly recommend petvalu.I was a buck short on a new training leash since my service dog decided his was a snake and chewed it. The employees hooked me up with a dollar.I can't say enough great things about this store on Madison in particular.

a nice store with a lot of pet care options seems a little pricey i'm not sure if they offer price matching but some of the brands of dog food they sell are quite a bit cheaper at other stores we love the self serve dog bathing though we have big dogs and its helps to have that option

The staff is always great to work with and very knowledgeable. With the approach of COVID-19, they've been patient and extremely helpful in changing the layout of the store and helping to get food and other supplies. We've been going there for a long time and will continue to do so.

I went in there to see if they had anything for my dog's birthday. The least expensive toys are like $20. Most of the store is dog food, but all still expensive. It's better for someone with a higher budget.

I absolutely love Pet Valu. It's such a cute little pet store. I wish there was a bit more products for cats but other than that it is amazing. Also, this location takes cats from FACE Animal Clinic that are adoptable so definitely check them out!

First time visiting a Pet Valu store and I'll definitely shop there again. Greeted as soon as i stepped into the store and helped right away. Great customer service. Anything you need for your furry friend you can find here.

PetValu is a really nice pet store, they are fairly new, but they are really nice! And the staff is friendly! Sometines they have cats for adoption, but if you want to adopt this is not the first place id go.They have a really nice dog wash for only $10 but it has stairs so if your dog is afraid if stairs and too big to lift, then I wouldn't recommend it. They have fresh baked dog cookies for sale near the front and the staff is really nice. The have many thing from hamster cages to dog and cat food/toys. They are pretty easily seen from Edgewood but not so much from Madison.

Customer service this time around was lacking. As I approached the counter with my purchase the 2 cashiers did not acknowledge me even as the one was ringing up my purchase. However; I will say this is the 1st time this has happened at this location.
