This pet store is the best because they carry quality dog and cat food. Both of our cats have sensitive tummies and switching to Ultra really made a difference. Staff is always super friendly and very helpful when I’ve needed suggestions. I’ll never go anywhere else! 😊 The only thing I’m wondering is if they have plans to expand their product lines for other types of pets besides cats and dogs.

Those looking for a difficult to find kind of training collar and they spent a great deal of time with me finding the right size and fitting it to my 80 lb dog. Prices are competitive the place is always clean the people are very helpful. The prices and cleaning facilities are very competitive. THE REASON I'LL GO BACK AGAIN: service. It's like all stores used to be with educated dedicated helpful staff.

Perfect for a quickie. The wash basins are clean and neat; staff was friendly; location, price and hours also convenient. They provide shampoo, towels, dryer and TREATS!!!! I wish the dryers blew warmer air, but other than that it's a cool spot. I'd recommend and go again.

Great store, very nice staff. They have DIY dog washing, reasonably priced. The food selection is pretty good. They are a bit pricey but carry higher end foods. My dogs love the Earthborne. We had to change foods because of skin issues.

Great place to bring your pet. Cannot beat the $10 bath where the shampoo, towels, and tub are all included in that price. Great customer service. They'll take the time to help you understand any product they have.

This store has a decent selection of good dog food, cookies and toys but I don't think they carry anything for cheaper than anywhere else.. Their self wash tubs do look nice but I've never personally used one.

This is my favorite pet store in all of Indianapolis, it breaks my heart to see it go. The staff was always soo wonderful and helpful because I’m not the most pet savvy person. It was nice to feel like I had a family at PetValu, I even got a sweet betta from here. I would take all the bettas if I could. My dog is soo picky and I could never find a treat that she really loved and the staff at PetValu helped me pick one. Anytime I have a problem or question the staff is to my rescue. And when I step inside the door they are always soo friendly and tell me wonderful things that I didn’t know. I know this review doesn’t sound like PetValu is different than any other pet store, but it is. When I found out my local store was closing I almost cried (dramatic i know), but they may have a limited selection of stuff, but that doesn’t matter I felt soo welcomed and the staff was extremely nice and if they didn’t have something they knew I would need they would tell me . They’re pet knowledge and customer service was amazing and I loved how they paid attention to my needs as a customer/pet owner versus making me feel like I was in the middle of Walmart looking for something with no help.

I had a great experience here. I found several items at Pet Valu that other pet stores or home big box stores did not carry. In particular was the Petsafe Elite Bark Controller/Bird House. The lady was super helpful and even apparently offer to drive to other locations if they dont have something but another location does. You'd just pick it up later from the location closest to you that day. There was much more personalization here. They also appeared to work with local providers well too.

I came in thinking I knew what I was looking for, but I had some questions still. After looking around and not knowing what to pick, I decided to ask for help. Let me start by saying that the lady that worked there knew just about everything there was to know about each brand and even had knowledge on recent studies that were out which helped a lot. You hear this and that about what your pets should/shouldn't have, and she was able to answer with actual knowledge as to why I was hearing that stuff. Ultimately she allowed me to make my own decisions without trying to "push brands" or "upsell products", she wanted me to understand what I was buying, why I was buying it, and put my pet first. I will continue to shop here going forward, and my dog loved her treats and her new food!!!

The people at Pet Valu are always so nice. They always offer me help immediately. They leave me to look around when that's what I prefer, and the store is always immaculate. It is exactly what I want when I'm shopping for pet supplies.

This was the WORST experience i have ever had in a pet store. We were shopping for our little baby yorkie we just got and i was talking to my little girl about which kong to get. A woman that was working there rudely interrupted us and told me that i was choosing the wrong kong and making a big mistake in choosing this particular on. I said we already have a kong so we know what we are doing and just want a bigger one. My other daughter said that she didn’t even know what dog we had to be able to make a proper recommendation to us. It was obvious she was very upset at us and was rude the rest of the time we were in the store. She sighed that she even had to check us out. she refused to speak because she was that mad. What kind of a human being does this??? We will NEVER go back. She took away a special moment with my kids shopping for our new puppy. Completely ridiculous and i will make sure to tell all my friends never to go back to this store either.

Mostly geared for dogs and cats. Everything is a little pricey but the staff is nice. It feels more like one of those stores people go to to spoil their pets rather than to get necessities for them.

I always take my dog here to bathe him. They provide towels, shampoo and a dryer as well as very nice stalls to wash your dog! Staff is always nice and helpful.
