VERY disappointed. This was our second time going to Kara's, the first was great however this one has us thinking that we will not be going back. The first photo was my mini bernedoodle when she went into, the second photo was the photo that I showed how I wanted the cut to look like, and the third photo is the cut that we got... The reason was a "little bit of matting in her inner leg and collar area" that "couldn't be blended." So I guess because it couldn't be blended it meant shave her completely (including her nose and eyelashes). Also they had us make an appointment for 9:30, and she wasn't ready for pick up until 2:00; not sure what the purpose of making an appointment was.

My dog, Otto, and I had our first visit at Kara's today after a really compassionate and friendly initial phone call with another staff member. Otto is a rescue dog who I fear has had a troubled past. A consequence of this is being very frightened when having his nails trimmed. Many other vets and groomers in the area won't even consider this service with him. Kara and Terry approached Otto with love and respect. Furthermore, I learned a lot from these folks as well. Great people.

Took my 2 year mini bernedoodle into Kara’s for the first time and they did a great job! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and pick up was a breeze! We will be going back! (Attached are before and after pics)

I have a daschound beagle mix. He's a nervous Nelly! He got a bath,blow dry, nails cut ears cleaned for 40$they made him feel comfortable.

I love Kara and her team. I have a 4 lb Malchi and I stay and watch them because she is such a high anxiety princess. She bites and they put up with her. I have never been told I cannot wait on her while she gets pretty.

We brought our baby romeo yesterday April 30th,2022 to get groomed. This place is awesome they did really great job on my dog. The staff is very loving and caring and gentle with my dog. I got him bathed nails cut and groomed all for reasonable price. I suggest that if you want top quality care take your pet there. Thank you for doing a wonderful job with romeo. They have very reasonable prices.My husband and I are very pleased and happy. We will be bringing romeo back there again

I did a walk in appt for my Labradoodle. He needed his nails trimmed. She did right after we came in. Also provided a lot of good information about grooming and what's recommended for our puppy. I appreciated the quick friendly service and reasonable pricing. I made an appointment to get our pup groomed next week.

Took our cat to get a trim on her neck and belly (when in the store she was in the cage and terrified of the dogs) and once we got home her neck wasnt trimmed at all and her belly was cut very short. $75 for a bath and a botched haircut is ridiculous

I found Kara because my gromer didn't open the day of my baby appt and his bday party was next day, Kara was able to get my baby in last minute and the results were amazing, my baby looked so handsome for his bday celebration. Can't be more thankful for Kara's lucky dog

worst experience ever. my dog was scared when i saw her. they hurt my poor dog. And the grooming was horrible. i’m so upset with this experience as a 2nd time customer. I’ll never be going again, and i’ll recommend NOBODY ever goes here. they will hurt your doggy!

This place is awesome. Took my dogs Scout and Khloe to them. Joci did a great job bathing them. Scout can be a pain because he’s squirrelly but she did great. Did it in a timely manner too. I got my dog around the time they quoted me. Definitely recommend

This was our first time taking our dog to a groomer. He is a large and difficult 10 months old puppy, full of energy (hence the need for a groomer). From the time we came in, until the time we left, Kara and her staff were friendly and professional to both us and our dog, Duke. We are extremely happy with the service and the pricing. Even when she was not able to do quality blow drying Bc Duke was NOT having it, she did not charge us for that service and this speaks for her integrity. We were even invited to an after church get together that we are excited to attend! To sum it up, great service, great people, two thumbs up!

I love this groomer! The whole staff is so friendly, helpful, and gentle with the animals. They are low cost but do a wonderful job.they even were able to cut my dog's nails without a muzzle. We adopted him from a rescue and Frankie had been very badly physically abused, so I was amazed with the nail trim and no muzzle because he still bites. He was so tired after his trip out. I just wish there more than 1 couch to sit on.

Kara and her did an amazing job on Bean and Sam. Sam was sooo matted. He looks like a puupy again and so happy. My old groomer would always nick my boys, this time nick free. Thank you guys so much you are amazing. P.S.Sam and Bean would cost $125 each at old place Kara was $145 combined. Would have been even cheaper if Sam had not needed saaved. Thanks again Team Kara!!!

Kara is the bomb! I inquired about appointment on Sunday night, and was able to get in the next day. They are very friendly and it’s obvious that they love animals. The prices are absolutely reasonable and the service is very good. Marley was in and out in less than 30 minutes. We will definitely be back! Thanks again❤️

Have scheduled grooming in Sept & Dec 2021 and results were excellent. Kara knew how to handle small temperamental pets.Not so much on current appointment Took over 4 hours and I was told my dog was "nippy". When I received word my pet was ready for pick up at 2:45, I was told they close at 3. When I picked up my dog, she refused to allow me to pick her up - nipping me when touching her side. I did call groomer and asked if my dog had been dropped. Groomer VERY defensive and said of course not but the dog was not cooperative. If it was that bad, they should have called me for reschedule. Today, my pet is still sore - can't even rub her near her ears without her yelping.Last trip there for my dog.

You can tell Kara and her crew really care about your pets. This is the 1st place I’ve been too where they treated every dog that walked in the door like their own family. Both my dogs look great, the price was right and I didn’t have to schedule way in advance to get them in. Couldn’t ask for more!

Kara was amazing! I took all 5 of my fur babies to her and she did an awesome job on the Frenchies and the Mastiffs. Very good prices as well. We will be seeing her on a regular basis from now on.. I highly recommend Kara.

Highly highly highly recommend this groomer! These ladies listened to how I wanted my standard poodle to be cut then did it PERFECTLY! Somehow they managed to get all the hair out of my dog's ears and there was A LOT. They cut his nails short enough that he no longer taps on hardwood floor. His cut is as adorable as it gets. Also they did not put "foofoo" smelling spray on him (thank god)... the shampoo and conditioner is lightly scented and is nice.. also left his fur soooooo soft.. I just wanna snuggle him moreBut yea these ladies are now the only groomer for Nigel. The quality of the cut and everything that comes with it is impressive, especially for the cost. I honestly expected to pay more. Thank you ladies for making my fur baby even more adorable and snuggly! Will be recommending you to everyone I know that uses a groomer!

Ummm...$70 to groom amedium, laid back, short haired dog is not what I call cheap. I was under the impression that this business was less expensive than other groomers but this would be the most I've ever paid! Furthermore, I dont have to receive service from a place to know when it's overpriced. I wouldn't pay $500 for an oil change even if it was in Carmel, which this place is not.

My dog looked better when I brought him in than when I picked him up. I have a long haired dog and very specifically asked them not to shave him. Just to thin and trim. I brushed him myself the night before and cut out any big knots. My great pyrenees now has hair I can't even run my fingers through. I told them he has allergies and left his own treats but he was itching his face like crazy when we got home. He has a little wired fur but she said he was more of a snousure? And cut him as such. While his breed is supposed to be thick in the chest he's shaved with a moustache. It's choppy and looks terrible. I wasn't expecting perfection but it looks like they got frustrated with his hair (bc it not supposed to be shaved) and gave up. His nails weren't cut. I had to give him a bath when I got home to help the itchinng and trim him myself. He's a big dog so he was there a while but when he got home slurped up water like he hadn't had it all day. If I wanted a choppy shave job I would have bought clippers and done it myself. But now my dog can't be out in the sun bc he can't regulate his temp with his protective coat gone. If you're spending money spend it somewhere else.

I tried to give this place a shot because my groomer was booked out for a month and this was the worst idea ever. They claim low cost but their prices are average like any other grooming place and the quality of my dogs cut was terrible. I don't recommend to bring poodles here bc my poor babies hair style was uneven and chopping looking save your money because your better off to groom your dogs at home. No a quality place

Kara and staff did an excellent job washing my pitbull and trimming his nails. He was all smiles and sassy, he knows he smells great. I witnessed Kara and staff being gentle and professional with the dogs they were grooming. I highly recommend Kara's lucky dog grooming.
