Had a great experience here with Karen! She truly exceeds in customer service.The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were very indecisive and wanted to play with more than one puppy. Karen was very nice and understanding helping us with all our requests.Very clean and well kept store. I would highly recommend Happiness is Pets to anyone wanting to adopt a puppy.

Had a wonderful experience here. Karen is very knowledgeable and helpful. The pets were well taken care. I like the fact that they work with Purdue to certify the kennels. I am now the proud owner of a handsome guy named Romeo. Don’t let the negative reviews stop you from visiting this place. Their prices are not excessive and their guarantee is beyond expectations. Great place.

Got our pup Myles (formerly Michael) from here. Couldn’t have asked for a better pup. The vet clinic they’re partnered with also seems to be really good too. They took good care of him when we went in for his checkup and said he was healthy.Been 5 months since we brought Myles home and he is still healthy and the most loving dog I’ve ever had. I also forgot to mention that if you’re concerned about them being connected to puppy mills to not worry. This location at least gets their pups from breeders that are approved through the Purdue University Canine Care program that’s designed to prevent puppy mills and let those looking for a new family member know that the breeder is held to a high standard.

Really concerned by how the animals are treated there. I have seen what looks like the dogs being neglected. Not pet, played with, or anything. Some of the cages are smeared with feces and even some of the puppies toys as well. It really made me sad and annoyed they let it get to that point.We ended up getting a dog from there because we were worried about him. And that same day we spent the night in an emergency vet. He is skin and bones, and would not eat. We are working on getting him better. But we highly discourage supporting this business. The practices are unethical for living creatures that are meant to be family members.

Karen was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all her puppies. We went in 2 times prior to getting our perfect puppy. She was very nice each time and took extra time to answer all our questions. We are super excited about our puppy. We would recommend Happiness is Pets.

Visited the location when it opened and was impressed with the cleanliness and size of display kennels for the dogs available for purchase. A few days ago, my boyfriend asked if we could “go look” at the dogs as he’d been in earlier and found a puppy he really liked.As you can already guess, that puppy came home with us. 💖 She’s a tiny Shiba Inu we’ve named June and we are in love. She has been energetic and happy, and all signs point to her being very well taken care of at Happiness Is Pets. Karen was very friendly during our adoption, asking to be kept up to date with June as she grows. She truly seemed to care about her puppies.We took advantage of the accessories package and received a crate, bag of food, leash and collar, three toys, and a blanket for a reasonable price. Additionally, we have been impressed with the vet associated with Happiness Is Pets and plan to use them going forward for both June and our 9-year-old Red Heeler.

Visited the location few times before deciding on a certain dog. The place was always clean, and the dogs were well cared for. Karen was very helpful, but not pushy. The warranty and resources they have for new family members makes this a reputable pet store that actually cares

Puppy mill pet store. They say they go through the USDA certified care program through Purdue. This means nothing in reality they still buy from puppy mills that do the bare minimum through the program.

Don’t finance a dog from Karen she will mislead you and have you thinking you are getting a deal but they will overcharge you from the price and not explain to you what you are paying for. I love my pup tho

The worker was rude. Did not allow people to play with the puppies. Was inside the store for less than 1 minute before deciding to take my business elsewhere. The puppies were jumping and practically begging for attention as the one of the other workers mentioned some of them had not been taken out of their pen the entire day.

Ridiculous prices, no idea what the breeders conditions are like, high probability, not good. Adopt from a shelter ,a breed rescue, no reason for these stores.

While the atmosphere of this pet store may seem to be happy and healthy, the way they run their business is anything but that. If I could leave no stars I would!!!! I recently got a puppy from this establishment, being made aware that he is a very "picky eater" and only really eats baby food and the soft food they provided us with. We later found out that our new puppy was infected with Kennel Cough and Giardia and that baby food should absolutely not be administered to puppies. He was 3 lbs. when we first got him. He is now on four different medications to be taken at different times of the day. Even though one of the workers, Natalie, just told us that he was simply very shy and very picky. Only to find out that he was extremely sick and living in a terrible environment. We were impressed by their link to Purdue and the urge to better the reputation of pet stores like this. Later, we dug a little deeper and did some more research. Everything started to piece together, Natalie was extremely excited that we were buying the pup we did but she also let us play with his sister who was 2x his size. It is clear that our pup was the runt of the litter, and according to the rest of these reviews; came from a puppy mill. We did further research on the breeder and found evidence to him being linked to a puppy mill. Please do not put thousands of dollars into a pet store that cares nothing about their puppies, and be sure to do your research before making a big purchase like this!

While we didn't need up buying the puppy we were looking at, Karen explained to us how they get their puppies and everything that comes with getting one from there. It really says a lot when you have documentation showing the pedigree and info about a puppy, and the fact the puppy is sociable, fun, and receptive to people (omg and not to mention clean). We will definitely be coming back here to get a puppy later on!

Went there today to just play with some pups and this place is the cleanest and nicest pet store I have ever seen. I have been in the veterinary medicine industry for 5 years now and this is by far the best pet store I have ever come across. I was baffled. The staff is professional and highly educated. We played with 2 dogs and they made sure to switch rooms and even toys to eliminate possible cross contamination. 10/10 recommend. I didn’t see a drop of feces or urine while there!

Visited for the first time and played with a couple of pups (Anthony and Heath)! I learned about their partnership with Purdue University and the Canine Care program. I've been wanting a mini goldendoodle for years now and I think I've found the place to get one. The puppies are happy, healthy, and very well cared for.

The Indianapolis location is very clean. Karen is very knowledgeable and super helpful. She knows each puppies individual personality, which helps her find a wonderful match for each and everyone family’s. We would highly recommend this location for people who are looking for a new family member.

The place was clean and well organized, but all they had was designer puppies most some sort of Designer Doodle mix.And come on, the avg price was over $2k - $5k. What ever happened to 200 or 500 dollar puppies, Golden Retrievers or Labradors?

Small dog shop with puppies in cages all around the room with play areas in the middle where you can play with dogs while deciding whether to buy. The dogs seemed happy and healthy but we were shocked at the prices. Many were over $3000 each. Not what I was expecting when I walked in. Perhaps others would not find that surprising but I did. We did not stay long.

This is a puppy mill in store form. Poor puppies are on a timer to be purchased and stuck in these tiny cages for probably 22 hrs a day. The dog that we played with had a rash on its underbelly, due to lack of care. Responsible pet owners, please don’t support inhumane places like this. They should be illegal. Go to a reputable breeder or adopt.

This is a top notch place I have been looking for a specific breed for a very long time when I walked into happiness is pets I wasn't expecting much out of it but I told Karen what I was looking for and she was able to make it happen in a week it wasn't a long process at all super happy with this company 😀 and would recommend this place to anyone! All the Karen’s acting like wannabe super heroes on here are hilarious. This isn’t the only puppy store in the world. I tried adopting a puppy I wanted for 3 years and never had any luck. I got my puppy here and couldn’t be happier. Very friendly staff and more than fair pricing. We are very thankful that we stumbled upon your store.

If I could leave no stars I would, lmao I went in cause I was very interested and purchasing a puppy she then told my fiancé we had to be 21 to see the dog , lmaooo but another couple came in looked the same age as us and she didn’t even ask them if they were 21 and they were white . That feels very discriminatory and the rule states that we can be interested in buying one to see one since we live on our own and our property allows animals. I was going to spend my money here but lol not at all what a shame . Literally feel like crying I’m so upset. She didn’t come up or even ask us for help. But went to the other couple with smiles smh.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Some of the pups had stool smeared on the floors of their glass encasements, and the person feeding them didn't pet ANY OF THEM. The brachycephalic dogs weren't allowed out due to having stenotic nares, which is very common, and to deny them love and cuddles is cruel. We have a pug, and this breed craves and requires love and cuddles and human interaction. You slap a 4k price tag on a glass encasement and expect ppl to feel comfortable purchasing these pups, but what kind of behaviors are we going to have to undo? Do better. Love these babies.
