I went in one morning last week to find 2 items.First of all the attendant was not knowledgeable, nor courteous.I found 1 item. Over priced, but I paid cash.She proceeded to become highly inappropriate and telling me how rude I was for placing my change on the counter!Quite abrasive and unacceptable! She should not work in retail or customer service! HORRIBLE!!!

Why have a store if your never open on top of the most unpleasant and unprofessional staff. The place is always trashy unstocked and dirty. They need just to shut it down.

THIS store is NEVER OPEN during 'Normal' hours. I have been t8 thus location 3 Three times this week alone and it was CLOSED BEFORE 7PM all three times. To boot, they Absolutely REFUSE to answer the phone at probably 90% of all. Locations in Indianapolis! Plus, they were inside watching the other cars pull in and then out! Three Times in one week!! PATHETIC!!Shadeland and E 10th St has BEEN CLOSED Before 7PM All week! But that is NOT UNUSUAL for this location! It is always Randomly CLOSED at ANYTIME of the day. It's just a gamble, so normally I go to a different location. I usually don't even consider heading to this location unless already been to other stores. Basically this is my Absolute LAST RESORT LOCATION!E 21st and N Arlington been RANDOMLY OPEN AND CLOSED ALL THIS LAST TWO WEEKS! However, IF they have been open, they DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT DEBIT EBT! Now Working Card Machine's so WHY bother! I was there 5 FIVE times this week and were CLOSED!! 11AM... 2PM... 7:30PM CLOSED!! Thus Poor ol' Girl TRIES to do it Alone!! SHE NEEDS A VACATION, HUGE RAISE, AND SUPPORT OF DG INC!! Oh, and an ENTIRE STAFF TRAINED AND COMMITTED TO ACTUALLY SHOWING UP FOR AND WILLING TO WORK!* * Okay, these are my attemptsto do business with DG Inc in the last week ALONE!! Very Very FRUSTRATING AND WASTE OF TIME AND GAS!! For Untold Numbers of Shoppers!! NOT COOL!! These stores in the hood is all that a whole lot 9d Indianapolis can access. These location also keep most of 5he remaining parts of Indy that ARE NOT ALREADY FOOD 🏜 DESERTS from being a Food Desert!! So Many RELY ON THESE CLOSED Locations and the 8nly shop with EBT!! Again, NOT COOL!!*** When I have actually been able to get inside of an open DG store in the past Two years, they have ALL BEEN A CYCLONE 🌀 Zones!! Boxes, BOXES, BOXES from Hell for DAYS!! Literally enough merchandise in store, in stock and IN BOXES EVERYWHERE!! EVERYWHERE!! Aisles = BOXES! Corners = BOXES!! Carts = BOXES!! Shelves in COMPLETE DISARRAY AND ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING just shoved WHEREVER!! Open BOXES from customers trying to shop out of BOXES!!P.A.T.H.E.T.I.C!! How do these stores stay 8n business? Because it AIN'T by being OPEN and SELLING MERCHANDISE!! SO what is it that DG IS REALLY SELLING?? AT CLOSED STORES!?How did they EVER get more than ONE LOCATION?? BECAUSE THESE ARE THE ABSOLUTE NORM around here! Absolutely 💯 Amazing!! NOT!!Bad Getting WORSE BY THE MINUTE!!!

Store is always closed. Cashier sits at register with light on before its close to 9pm but the door is locked and won't let nobody in. What's the point?

This one is closed more than open is never stocked was there at 930 am and doors locked sometimes its closed for days at a time went back 4/21/24 says it's closed to stock asked if they were hiring a few days ago and they said no but always closed to stock

The store is really organized they also have a dollar aisle and it actually is a long aisle both sides the workers are very friendly it's in a good location overall I love shopping at Dollar General

If I could give 0 stars I would! Literally almost everytime I stop here during business hours the doors are locked and the store is closed!!! Smh 😒 they obviously need to just shut it down bc they're never even open.

Cashier was kind of rude. Don't take early morning shifts if you're that cranky. I don't expect Nordstrom's stellar customer service at the Dollar general lol but being just being polite to your customers goes a long way...Edit-I should clarify, this was my only negative experience here. Normally my visits are great!

Always closed when scheduled to be open - shelves hardly ever restocked even though carts are full and blocking lanes - new "manager" every few weeks - not very community friendly

I visit this store today July 20. I was very disappointed. You could not get a cart down most aisles. It was trying to get though a maze. On top of that, I only brought two items. A 6 pack of ensure that was marked $6. It rang up for $10. I said forget that one but she did make it down. A box of laundry soap next. I was price at S9.50 rang up for $16. I did not caught that one untill I got home. Sorry I will not be back if they can not get their prices right. They are way pricey the a dollar store.

I can not tell you how many times I have tried to shop at this store and it’s NEVER open! Today I tell my daughter let’s stop at DG before going to the nail salon. I say hopefully it’s open. Would you know as I’m walking up to the door the worker is opening the door to let customers out and tells me their closed until 12:20. How unprofessional is this store it might as well close down for good they loose more money than I can count.

We went on the 23rd of December. Sadly, other patrons tore that store up. The staff was doing their best to stay on top of it but it was like people just realized Christmas was a day away. Dude. That being said...the staff was upbeat, quick, polite and accommodating. I did grab a few stocking stuffers! So trip not wasted. If you're in the neighborhood and need stuff you might want to stop there. Recommend.

A lot of there items are at a reasonable price, but the place is a mess. I couldn't get through the isles to purchase what I wanted to get. The cashier was one of the only ones working. She was very pleasant under the circumstances. I probably won't go back. I give this rating because of the store not being sensitive to the needs of the consumer.

This is a nicer Dollar General. They always seen to keep the place mice looking and well stocked. A vast difference from some of the other locations by me on the east side. Keep up the great work guys! Your hard work is noticed AND MUCH appreciated.

The shelves were practically empty in a lot of areas. The cleaning products were gone. I like the rearrangement of things but it was almost not worth going. Maybe it's better if you go earlier in the day.

The manager and employees are always helpful and courteous. I don't drive and live down the street so I'm in several times a week. The manager hooked me up with the dg digital coupons and I save some loot every time I'm in. It's nice bc I'm never expecting a break.

Everything was okay I found everything okay and it was a clean store which I like it's better than the one that's on 21st Street that look like a raggedy garage sale but overall I am pleased with Dollar General they need a little bit more help to help put stock up on the Shelf one person can't do it all thank you have a blessed day

I needed the weirdest selection of things today and I knew DG (we're cool addressing each other by our initials) would have all of them. And they did! It's always a little stressy at the register but not unbearable. I much prefer DG to the other similar store (where I can't find ANYthing).

They were courteous to me except for one thing, I went in for Excedrins and I noticed a lot of their pain OTC is mostly missing on the shelves, and which only about two miles away, at 21st and Mitthoeffer that Dollar General is the same problem alot of bare spots on their selves.

It was okay they have good prices on paper Anton soap but that's the only thing I liked about it I do not care for it too much but have you project on paper goods and soap so I'll be back for them

They close early randomly saying that there's no staff..... interesting, since every other time except Friday through Sunday nights have 3-5 people regularly working...... who do we have to call to get somebody's attention???
