Don't ever go to this dollar general ever they are suppose to be close at 9pm and it's only 7:21pm they already close and the cashier was rude and disrespectful arguing and cussing me out because they close

This is a constant issue with this store this is the 4th time in only a couple of weeks that they close and lock the doors way before the posted time! I live only a couple of houses on 10th street from the store! I use to brush it off but not anymore I will report this to the main office for every time!

I know some people have to shop here, due to walking and so forth. But if you can get anywhere else go!! DON'T GIVE THIS STORE YOUR MONEY! The manager is Horrible!! They don't have carts or baskets, you are expected to juggle your stuff through the store. And the NEVER accept coupons. Why??!! The employees hate their job and treat their customers like trash!!! I will never give this store any of my hard earned money

Male Cashier was very nice but the female Cashier told me I had to leave my bag with her and allowed others to walk around the store with their bags. The ones that were allowed to walk around with their bags were white. I never had this problem when this store was in the linwood plaza.

Was told by the manager she wouldn't sell me something because it was on the top shelf. She was very rude and needs to take a lesson in customer service. Will be contacting corporate about my experience today. Not pleased, and don't understand how people can treat other people that way. Needs better managment. There was a new employee checking me out, it's sad he had to witness her rudeness. Hope he doesn't think it's ok to treat people like that after watching his manager as an example.

I like this store since it moved from Linwood into the old Value World it's clean and nicely renovated but this only nice when it's open. I went there at 11:12 am and the lady told me they were closed. What do you mean your closed? Your suppose at 8 am and it's not the first time this has happened. Half the time there closed and do not open on time and with no explanation. The entire management and staff need to be fired because this incompetent and unacceptable. This store will our business it keeps running like this. It's okay because I'm sure you guys will open a new location of the old Family Video down the street anyways. I've heard you guys are already taking over their old locations.

I'm disabled have problem with walking and breathing. I went to purchase a Christmas tree. There were no carts. The staff was rude and had masks on but we're pulled down by neck,not covering mouth or nose. I got the tree and drug it up to check out. I wasn't able to go anywhere else because of health problems. I had trouble putting it up on the counter and neither of the two cashier's offered to help me. A customer behind me helped me and then helped me out to my vehichle. Very poor service and total lack of appreciation for my business. Will not recommend this place to anyyone.

It was ok...nothing spectacular. The only issue i have is store mgmt & clerks don't enforce the wearing of a face mask. Sooo many ppl have come in with a mask pulled down under their chin or with no mask at all!! Unacceptable!!!!! Hell even the cashiers don't always wear their masks properly. Nostrils all uncovered & whatnot....ppl need to take this life & death situation a bit more serious for all of our safety!

This particular store is set up a little bit differently than some of the others, but it's still very easy to find what you want. There is usually a good amount of customers but the clerks are efficient, friendly, and waiting in line is never a problem. For everyday pricing, Dollar General has excellent prices for many household and personal care items, and a nice selection of greeting cards that start at fifty cents per card, although some can cost more. There is also a decent amount of food choices. One of my favorite stores to shop.

They always lock the doors and close the store before 8pm, when the operating hours of the store says 8-9 pm this is misleading and causes people to waste a trip to the store. I know if they was a customer they would not like it if they were done the same way.

Rudest person EVER this morning. Was an hour late getting there. Then she "claimed" she didn't know HOW to use the cash register, so she was NOT opening the store. Cursed at us, using the most unprofessional vulgar language. I see why this store is the worst location EVER! Ghetto trash works there! Hire competent people!

This store has gone down hill in the past few years. The store is very unkempt and poorly stocked. Except for the new staff person that helped me yesterday most have been less than helpful or even rude. In the past few months the store always seems as if it's going out of business and nobody cares. Visit one of their other locations if you want a more satisfying shopping experience.

This store is so unorganized and never has anything in stock. I usually will go out of my way if I need something that I know is usually an item the dollar store carries to get it because this store wont have it or can't find it! The associates most of the time are no help and dont know! They do Not care about customers and even have attitudes towards paying customer customers. Only decent employee as of now is Valerie.

Store is a mess dirty maintence items and product all over floor. Shelves empty. Employee friendly but only 1 in whole store at cash register no one stocking or assisting on floor. Have desided. I will no longer attempt to use this store as everytime I have attempted in last month it has been like this. Twice doors were closed locked at 12:30 in afternoon because the 1 employee had to take thier lunch but gave no indication of when they left or when would be back. Dont blame employee this is one of the worse managed stores I have ever seen. Will take buisness to family dollar or dollar tree right down the street. They need to close and be done with it. Store on 10th& linwood indianapolis.

The store was disorderly. There were kids playing and cursing. I waited in the checkout line for about 30 minutes because they had a kid working the register who played with the other kids that were customers. That was my first and only time I will go there.

Never stocked but everything is on karts in the middle of the isles u have to walk around while the shelf is empty of the product an when I asked if they had something in the back she replied yes but thier is to much other stuff in the way to get back thier to get it. I was like wow then have someone start putting some of this stuff sitting on the carts in the isle way away an u could reach it. It's not like u got to hunt where it goes just look for a hole an put it on the shelf that easy.

I'm not sure if there is new mgmt at this location or not but upon walking in the store(twice in as many weeks),the shelves were empty. Not a few of them but at least a third. When asked if they were closing, the cashier replied they just need more help (as she talked on her phone). I just went to Family Dollar instead .

Nice and clean, but be prepared to wait in line! Most of the time it's only one cashier while the other employees stock the store or whatever they be doing on the floor! Download the app and save big bucks with coupons!

The store is very messy with the lack of customer service. Whoever authorized for this so called woman to close needs to adjust the schedule with more friendly employees. But then again, if I have cracked lips with butter stained teeth working at a dollar store I'll be miserable myself. Lol

The cashiers was rude, the store was a mess boxes everywhere but shelves empty. Didn't have anything I wanted except cigarettes.... The cashier proceeded to tell me they are not selling cigarettes today and laughed. I thought she was joking since I am looking right at them, but she was serious.

This woman today has NO business in Customer Service!! Was extremely rude and hateful. Was late getting there. Cursed at people waiting to be let inside to shop. I will NOT return to this location!! English & Emerson DG has my business! At least they are nice and the store isn't trashed!

I just left the dollar store on 10th and Linwood the staff is nice but a man walked in the store and walked out with 2 bags of items that he didnt pay for.Dollar General is one of the main stores that operates with as little staff as possible staffers could be rob and lose their life over this issue and for that matter so could the customers . Staff at night or keep security cutting costs is dangerous.

Sometimes DG will have their merchandise on the shelves, and not in boxes blocking the way, not this one. Couldn’t fine what I wanted, things I know they sale, for my third visit to a DG store recently, because in was probably still in the boxes. The employees for the most part are ruled and unhelpful, and the cashier only takes your money, no greetings or thanks, the manager is always hiding in the small office, typically the DG way in Indianapolis. The company doesn’t care about service or its customers, because they usually set up in so-called low income neighborhoods, or food deserts. Will service every improve?

When this location opened it was pretty dirty and many isles blocked with carts ...I was disappointed cause it's a brand new store...then a few months later it started looking alot better and was stocked up better without carts in the isles and it was awesome...seems to be slipping back to dirty and unstocked just a little...but overall it's pretty decent
