Absolutely unacceptable. I waited in line in the drive through for more than an hour and a half - knowing full well the inside of this location is always horrific and longer still. There were about 7 cars in front of me and when I finally got to the front I realized why it was taking so long. The staff decided just to put up a sign that they would be back in 15-20 minutes - which was completely untrue. They made no attempt to communicate with the cars lined up for more than an hour. This location has absolutely no regard for their customers or their customers’ time. They’re consistently rude and seem put out when people come to pick up prescriptions (which no one is ever notified about anymore and 9/10 times are never ready and you have to make another trip and hope someone bothers to help you). My last visit was equally bad. I was told I had to come inside to pick up a prescription because they refused to process insurance through the drive up. That employee just stared at me after saying “you have to come in” and refused to say another word. I do understand that companies are short staffed but DO BETTER CVS. Pay people better and get good employees that want to work. Whatever you’re doing is not working.

This location does not answer the phone and they seem to have more turnover for staff than a waffle House. I had a prescription called in when I tried to call to make sure it was being filled I waited on hold for over 30 minutes gave up and decided to come in. When I arrived I was told they still had to fill the prescription and to come back 2 hours later. When I came back 2 hours later it took them a minute to find my prescription and then when I tried to use GoodRx to get a discount the first not the counter was not able to make that change so I had to go into a separate line to get the price adjusted and then wait in the original line again to purchase the medication. All in all it took about 4 hours to get my medications.All that being said the sheer amount of prescriptions they have on their shelves ready to be picked up is insane. I don't blame the staff it's very obvious that this location is poorly managed and The people that run this location care about profits over people.

I previously wrote a review about the numerous problems that I had at this CVS. I think that it’s only fair that when there are improvements, that an updated review is submitted. I have to say that something has changed for the better at this CVS. The staff is now friendly and seems to be focused on customer service. I just had to call the pharmacy because of an issue with one of my prescriptions and they answered the phone in a very timely manner. The pharmacist helped me quickly and with a very positive attitude. I am very happy to say that this is now a pharmacy that I enjoy doing business with. Good job CVS, you heard our concerns and addressed them!

Do not use this pharmacy. This is the second time my partner and I have been told that we couldn't fill her meds, so we go home and wait until the morning and call another pharmacy and find out that it's no problem and her insurance will fill it. If you go here always ask for someone in charge because apparently the regular staff is incompetent.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. They never answer the phone, fill prescriptions on time, or help people in the drive-thru. If you have a prescription sent here, it will be gone forever. It blows my mind that a pharmacy can be this terribly run. Zero customer service at all.

I generally always have a good experience at CVS, however this location has a lot of issues. Yes, this is a busy 24 hour pharmacy, however the issues here are clearly a result of managements acceptance of limited customer service. For one, it’s is nearly impossible to ever get the pharmacy to answer the phone. You will most likely wait on hold for 45 minutes until the system automatically disconnects the call. I actually investigated this one night. I placed a call to the pharmacy and was on hold waiting for a pharmacist while I was already on my way to the pharmacy. I arrived after being on hold for 17 minutes and when I arrived, the pharmacy had no one waiting for them and no one on the phone with customers. I was greeted with the statement “We will be with you when we can”, by the actual pharmacist. This proved to me that my original thought was correct. They have a policy to just not answer the phone, knowing that the call will be eventually disconnected. I don’t know why this location is allowed to operate this way and what is shocking is that I have emailed corporate CVS multiple times and received a typical canned response but then no follow up or changes ever occur.The other 24 hour CVS pharmacies are so much better so if you feel like you might ever need help from the pharmacy for any reason, I would choose another pharmacy because this one will not be there to help you and you’ll have no ability to reach them unless you physically come to their location.I’m writing this as I’ve been sitting in their pharmacy drive through line where I have been for 40 minutes with only 4 cars in front of me.Maybe if they get new management, they will be able to get better, but after I pickup this prescription, I am done with this location for good.

Almost impossible to get pharmacy staff on the phone when the information yout looking for is not on the CVS app. I have waited on hold multiple times for over an hour with no luck.Would not recommend this pharmacy

Is there any way to give 0 stars? Never go to this pharmacy. They never answer the phone. Not even for providers. I was on hold for an hour! My provider was on hold for 45 minutes until she gave up! The pharmacy I was trying to transfer to was on hold for a total of an hour! You can’t even get them to cooperate when trying to transfer a prescription! I’m trying to take my business and leave. They held my prescription hostage. How ethical is that? I am so sick, and they have been nothing but rude, slow, and just do not care about me as the patient. I STILL don’t have my medicine! They are providing unsafe care here. Do not trust this pharmacy. There is a Walgreens just across the street. Go there if you have to. This is the number 1 worse customer care that I have ever received. -0 stars! Never will I return to this location.

I avoid this CVS wherever possible. Staff are extremely rude, unhelpful, and don’t seem to understand whenever you try to ask for clarification about something. Quick to push you off and move on to the next person.Princess thinks it’s funny to be rude to people.

If you are sick and getting your prescription in a timely manner is necessary, call it in somewhere else.I showed up four whole hours after my scrip was called in, waited in line for 20 minutes and was told to come back in an hour (when they will be closed for lunch) so it will be 2pm before I'm able to receive something that was called in before they even opened.

Hundreds of prescriptions in baskets. I had to go to another line to correct an issue and then back to the other line again. Or so they thought. I walked out. Transferred my prescriptions to somewhere else. Ridiculous. Also, went to get a flu shot at a set appointment. Wouldn't even acknowledge me. A rude black lady met me and that was it. Walked out. Got it from my family physician. Prejudice and poor PR. Never will go back. Almost every time I went new techs were there. What a place.

CVS Pharmacy you need to do better in Indianapolis. I have spent two days trying unsuccessfully to get my Pfizer Booster Shot. I was told that walk ins were welcome and even saw signs in the first two locations I visited (2215 Shelby Street and 336 Delaware Street). I stood first in line at the Shelby Street location in front of a Pharmacy Team that wouldn’t even acknowledge my presence. After 15 minutes of this I gave up and left. A kind but rather unhelpful Pharmacy Staff Member at your Delaware Street location told me they hadn’t been taking walk ins for weeks… yet the signage in the store and the listings on the Indiana State Department of Health website state that all CVS locations were taking walk ins. So I left and went online to sign up for an appointment scheduled for last evening. On my drive to my appointment I received a cancellation notice with no explanation as to why my appointment was specifically canceled. I called the number provided and finally got to someone in your customer service department that could not tell me anything about the cancellation and disconnected me while she was trying to help me locate another appointment.I gave up on trying to secure one for the evening and found one for this evening at your location at 655 S. US Highway 31 S and showed up… checked in and handed over my Vaccine card waiting for the Pharmacist. They informed me that they only had the Moderna shot to which I informed them they needed to update their information with the Department of Health as they are listed as having the Pfizer I was looking for. They were very kind and did apologize but alas… I still was not able to get my Booster Shot.So I gave it one last try and found an appointment at your 1545 North Meridian Street location. Arrived early for my appointment and checked in once again. When I entered the store the entire pharmacy was locked up but I could hear staff talking behind the gate. A staff member I found informed me that the pharmacy closed early. I asked how that was possible when they still had staff onsite and a patient checked in for their appointment at 9:30 pm? They said they could not help me. I found some handmade signs posted (pictures included). You can actually see the staff behind a closed door in one picture. I asked for a Regional Manager or Director’s number and they did not have any contacts for them.I know the world is understaffed and we are all doing our best but this is just flat out unacceptable. I’d like to speak with a Regional Leadership Team Member ASAP please so that I can understand how this, any of these missteps, are possible? It seems as though you have some very serious issues going on and need to address them urgently if you expect the public to trust you with their healthcare.Do better.

The only two times I’ve ever had scripts filled here they claimed they never received them. I’ve never had this problem anywhere else. Guess I will try to get ahold of my doctor to call in my antibiotics elsewhere and hope that the infection doesn’t get worse in the mean time. Never again.

I came in to get password pictures today DEC 8th at 12:22pm and was told that the camera was blurry 😐 and they were unable to get an estimated date to get a new camera. Cashiers told me to try Walgreens better.

DONT COME HERE!!!!! You are wasting your time if you send your prescription here. I tried to call to see how long my prescription will take to be filled and no one answered the phone for 25 minutes. So I hung up and called again but called the front desk instead of the pharmacy. They picked up very quickly but told me that the pharmacy never answers the phone. So, he forward my call to the pharmacy and said he would tell them there is a call but I waited 15 more minutes with no answer. I decided to just drive over since no one was going to answer and come to find out, my prescription won't be ready for an hour. Thanks cvs pharmacy for wasting my time

I started using this pharmacy because it's close to my house, and open 24 hours. But no more. I've had providers tell me they can't call in prescriptions because they've literally spent 60+ minutes on the phone to get someone. (I myself literally just spent an HOUR on hold and no one picked up. When in store, I often here the automated system announcing to the pharmacists, "Two calls waiting! Three calls waiting!" etc.) The drive-through is often just randomly not open - but of course you don't know that until you get to the window. The in-store wait for pharmacy can sometimes be 30+ minutes. Mind you, the pharmacists who are there work hard - but this store is grossly understaffed.Additionally, the shelves are often half-full at best, and many of the cashiers are disrespectful-to-rude, seemingly completely uncaring if they have any customers at all.I'm working on moving all of my scripts to another CVS, even though it doesn't have a drive-through, isn't 24 hours, and isn't as close - the hassles of this location just aren't worth it anymore. DO NOT send your scripts here if you can avoid it.

This CVS is trash. Takes them longer than a day to get a script filled with them. Sometimes takes close to 3 days. They barely ever answer the phone. They aren’t short staff. They always have people standing back there. 3-4 people normally from what I’ve seen. DO BETTER OR CLOSE DOWN 🗣️

I’ve been coming here for years and the experience is hit or miss. My husband has been trying to get me to transfer my scripts out of CVS for months. Last evening was terrible. There were 2 people in front of me and I had to wait 40 minutes to get my prescription. One prescription wasn’t ready despite being called in 5 days previously. My wait was probably short in comparison to the people in the car line. I understand they are short staffed, so maybe CVS should pay the workers more or close this location. I called Needlers pharmacy today to get my scripts transferred. I’ll never go back to CVS.

Would truly give this location zero stars if possible. Avoid this CVS pharmacy location at all costs, they are truly terrible and it's not worth the headache of failed prescription fills with zero solutions or accountability from staff. Better to choose a different location or have your prescriptions transferred. Otherwise, you will find yourself making multiple trips for your scripts that the automated system notified you were ready only to find that this location has not record or is now out of stock or just come back in a few hours because they didn't actually get to it yet. Especially avoid if you have time sensitive medications because you will never get them on time, no matter how well you plan in advance.

Had a confirmed appointment for a flu vaccine and even received a confirmation text an hour before the appointment. While I am sitting there, the woman at the pharmacy canceled me on the spot in a very rude manner, giving no plausible explanation. Extremely unprofessional attitude and a complete waste of time.

Terrible, terrible customer service with the pharmacy.Never could get help so I left and went across to Walgreens.Stood in line at the drop off and was ignored.I did try calling after I left, but the customer phone line said the pharmacy was closed…even though I was just in.The one thing CVS Pharmacy has going is the consistency of being an awful pharmacy.

This has to be the worst run pharmacy in the chain. They NEVER answer the phone, takes hours, sometime days, to fill vital prescriptions, and pharmacy staff ignore customers waiting in line. Horrible all around-I'll be switching pharmacies ASAP.

Wish I could give zero stars. I have the absolute displeasure of being both a patient and a provider that has to use this clinic. I am typing this email as I am waiting on hold (currently at 68 minutes). I am trying to call as a provider. EVERY other pharmacy I have to call as a provider quickly answers and helps solves issues. Not this place. An absolute nightmare to have to use this place. Avoid at all costs.
