Have basically spent past 2 weeks there. Had Fifi who had 14 teeth removed,Fatty, whose 1st visit she wouldn't let anyone near her. Took 2 visits to get her Wellness checkup. She also has hyperthyroidism, and needed meds to control it till she gets her iodine injection in June.Then Otis, who got his shots and needs to lose 4 pounds.Through all the stress and Fatty anger issues, they were great and made sure my cats, and myself, were well taken care of. Was first time going to an Indy vet since I moved from Nac, and so glad I was lucky enough to find them.

I’ve been going to Mass Ave Animal Clinic since I moved to Indy in 2022 and can’t say enough good things. They are thorough about giving you all the options but not pushy and thoughtful about costs. My pup is an anxious Covid pup and they always end up putting him at ease, which is no small task. They make me feel informed and in charge of my pup’s care.

The staff here is amazing and so friendly. Big shout out to Stephanie P., Dr. K, and Leah! They made my visit today enjoyable and stress free. They communicate very clearly about prices every step of the way. My cat, Bub, also gives his experience a 5/5! I highly recommend this place. The staff is what makes this place so great. The best veterinary office I have ever been to. They took beautiful care of our newest addition to the family. I appreciated that they actually ran down cost for me before they did any vaccines or work on my fur baby, I have never had that courtesy at other veterinary clinics, I’m used to not being told anything and just paying a surprise cost, but City Way’s staff made sure that I knew what I would pay and what was being administered to my little love. Staff is always friendly, location is beyond clean, and scheduling is super easy. Will be taking my other fur kids here soon, too.

I am so impressed with the staff at this clinic! I have a very shy, special, pound puppy. The team treated us with so much respect completely free of judgment. I can happily say that I will continue to bring my pup here for all of his needs, as I am very content with their high standard of care. Leah and Taylor took the time out of their busy schedule to shower my pup with love, and I’m grateful for their experience and ability to make him comfortable even in stressful situations! We had a new puppy who was having some issues and City Way was able to get us in the same day to see her. Everyone was so kind from the front desk, the vet tech and the vet. The vet tech took the time to sit on the floor and wrestle our pup to cut her nails and show us how to do it. The vet was so patient and answered all of our questions. Her lab work came back quickly and picking up meds was super fast and easy. I even got a follow up email checking on my sweet little puppy the next day. Can't recommend them enough. So happy we switched to this vet!

I would like to thank Dr. Bryan DVM and Assistant Justine for their excellent customer service received for my beloved 5 month old TeddyBear Goldendoodle named Willow. I was able to book an appointment online for the very next day. I appreciate the warm welcome I received.This was my puppy's first visit which went extremely well. Everyone at City Way Animal Clinics were incredibly nice, helpful and understanding. They explained everything they were going to do in detail and included cost before they did anything! It had been a couple years since my cat had been to the Vet and there was no judgment! My cat does not enjoy the vet, but they were patient and careful with him! Overall it was a good experience!

Edit: I did receive a follow up that I was emailed however I dont check my email I feel most usually do not.Original review:While my experience there was great I was in the middle of a financial crisis due to my other cat having to go to the ER and couldnt pay the full balance immediately. I emptied my checking account to pay the majority of the bill but left a card on file to pay the remaining $40 in a week when I got my next paycheck. Apparently my card was declined but I had forgotten about it and didnt receive any calls until I got a letter in the mail saying it had gone to collections. The lack of communication seems unprofessional and I am upset that my credit score is being jeopardized over a $40 debt.

Oh my goodness! Second time here. And I’m a forever customer. I have a 1 year old German Shepard… who is rather large. I’m always anxious to take him places because he’s intimidating. This vet takes the time to not only understand why your dog may be fussy or upset, but they work around it. My dog was nervous of the shot he needed, LEAH spent 5 minutes desensitizing him to her and the shot itself before administering a PAIN FREE AND BARK FREE shot!!I’m shocked and equally as impressed.Ps. They even allow “happy visits” for nervous members to come in and meet the staff and play for a few minutes during the day. This helps ease puppy stress!100/10. Thanks Leah:)

City Way - Mass Ave is a great and convenient location for your downtown vet needs! I was easily able to schedule an appointment online and transfer my cat's records from my out of town vet. On appointment days, Justine (Vet Assistant) and Dr. Bryan are always super helpful and kind! My cat always acts super calm in their nice facilities, which is a win when it comes to a trip to the vet. Worth a visit if you're looking for a vet downtown!

Met with Dr. Sarah Kurdziel when I wanted a check in for my new kitten. Her vet tech, Sara, was very patient and thorough with my nervous and antsy cat. And Dr. Kurdziel spent extra time with me to make sure my cat had everything she needed. Incredible knowledge as a doctor; answered every single question I asked. I will definitely be going to this veterinarian with every future pet.

I have been going to City Way - Mass Ave for almost 3 years, and I have always had a great experience.I have a very anxious / reactive dog, and the staff has always been so understanding and patient with him. City Way worked with us to figure out how to make my dogs' experience as fearless as possible, and now we use the "chill protocol" (gaba + ace + melatonin) which works very well.I am thankful for the staff at City Way! Special shoutout to Leah and Dr. Kurdziel for their help at our last visit.

We searched for months to find a vet that we connected with. We found that here. Our dog seems to be allergic to the world and after going to several different vets with no luck we found Mass ave. I feel seen and heard and best of all our dog is feeling much better. Prices are on the lower end of what we have experienced as well.

I love this vet office. Since the moment I walked through the door for my first appointment, I've felt that all staff members have the best interest of my dog, Butkus. What has impressed me the most with City Way Animal Clinic is receiving the follow-up emails and hand-written mail from the staff. It really shows they care for their patients. I've had appointments with both Dr. Bryan and Dr. Squiers; both veterinarians were exceptionally helpful! I always know I’m going to get knowledgeable and straight to the point answers and the prices are fair. Every doctor and nurse are professional and well trained for the job! I am a week into new-kitten parenthood and my little Paxton has been having some severe GI distress. I was nervous about taking him to the vet because he is exceptionally timid and the biggest scaredy-cat and I worried a trip would just stress him more.Luckily, we had Leah as our tech and she must be made of catnip! Paxton hides at just the sound of voices and is scared of humans, but apparently that does not included Leah! She was so patient and calm with him, no grabbing or snatching and everything on his terms. She definitely set the tone for Dr. Squires to come in, who was equally gentle and soft with Paxton.Finding a new vet is never fun and always a leap of faith trusting a new team with your furry family members, but after this first experience with Leah and Dr. Squire, I think Paxton and I have found our new vet!

Okay service… vet techs are always great. I just feel like my pets are just a number. We never received personalized care or support. I’m willing to be over the top for my pets, but the vets always jump to the worst case scenario. And we end up spending so, so much money on silly things.

Dr. Kurdziel was wonderful. The office saw my cat in an emergency situation, having never been there before. Everyone was helpful, kind and were genuinely worried about my kitty. He was very sick. Dr. Kurdziel layed all the options on the table including the costs. She helped me decide what to do but was truthful about his prognosis.I am impressed with the quality of staff and the kindness shown. I highly recommend Dr. Kurdziel and this clinic.

Dr Bryan, Kurdziel, Squires, and Morgenstern all have taken AMAZING care ofmy children. One of my kiddos can be aggressive when afraid and I don’t even muzzle him when coming into the clinic due to how much he loves each and every one of them. I’m a helicopter mom and freak out when they look at me cross eyed and they take the time to carefully explain every question and concern i have. It gives me anxiety to think about moving and needing to find a new vet clinic.
