If you do bring your dog to Camp Bow Wow in Lawrence, don't be too surprised if a couple of kids are able to walk in off the street and walk out with your dog.This happened to us today. Our dog was released to a couple of thieves without so much as an identification check. Our dog was taken out of the building and ended up deserted close to the store.Our dog is a runner; praise God he actually stayed put until someone from Camp Bow Wow found him. (And for that, I appreciate their efforts. But that would have never been necessary had their staff done their jobs in the first place.)The names of the dogs are listed on a wall in plain view for anyone who walks into the store.My children had to spend the entire car ride wondering if they'd ever see our dog again.Leave your pet here at your own risk.

Everyone is super friendly and my dog seems to have a great time every time she goes! I also love the fact that I can check in on her throughout the day via the cameras on their app. This is her worn out after a day of full play!

I had a fantastic experience with this dog day care! The staff is incredibly caring and attentive. They have a spacious and clean facility. My dog always comes home happy and tired from all the fun and exercise. I feel confident leaving my dog in their care, and I highly recommend this dog day care to any dog owner looking for a safe and enjoyable environment for their beloved pups!

We love Camp Bow Wow. We don't actually have any where we live, but we travel around the country and whenever we find one we use them. They are clean and well taken care of, and the dogs love going.

My Layla was boarded for 9 days, we were worried because this was her 1st time ever being away from us or home. When we picked her up she was happy, playful, didn't want to even leave. We are very grateful for the staff and we will e returning.

This definitely a great place if you are boarding or wanting to leave you furry friend for the day, but grooming is a definite no ma'am. So my review is not about the camp itself but the grooming. I have a golden doodle and for convenience I thought it would be better to take my dog where she play for the day. Big mistake. All 4 paw legs are uneven and the belly is not groomed properly. This was to be a special grooming and I don't believe they specialize in that. If you have a matted friend they are a great place to go, to just cut off the hair off, but my dog is well taken care of and only matting she normally gets is under her paw. I will just have to take the day off in the future and take her to her regular groomer as this is a 30 minute drive from my house. They have 4 groomers and you are assigned a groomer and that is the only person who grooms your friend. I paid the same for the work that I would pay at my regular groomer and it was not a very good job and they are done in 3 hours. I guess with Camp Bow Wow you are paying for a a chop cut and the day stay. This was definitely an amateur cut job. I will just have let her grow completely out before getting her cut again.

Called to see if they had any openings for a quick bath/groom today. The receptionist laughed and said there is no such thing as a quick bath like that was the craziest question she’s ever heard. Last time I checked it takes 15 minutes to wash a small dog. I’m sure another groomer will be grateful for my business.

Boarded my dog for 4 nights 5 days. The live webcam feature is great! They offered to bathe him at the end of his stay for a nominal fee, which took another chore off my plate. Worth it! I will always board my dog here during work trips.

I have only used the day care services but Maggie and her Mom are very happy with the facility and staff. They are attentive and keep all the play yards very clean. Maggie is a happy camper and so is Mom!

The staff here is very caring.The facility is very clean.We had our Husky stay there 2 weeks and felt she was very well cared for!You can even waTch your dog on video during their stay!Very reasonable cost for the peace of mind and not gavi g to ask friends to visit twice daily!

We 🧡 🧡 🧡 Bow Wow Lawrence!!! The staff are awesome and they take wonderful care of our dog! Sadly there is one much closer to our home on the Southside that we will never recommend so we drive almost 30 minutes to Lawrence but it's totally worth it. Our pup loves her time with her Bow Wow friends!

Front reception wasn’t warm, when I showed up to get my dog I was told he wasn’t done yet and I could wait in my car, which was slightly rude.My dog’s wash and brush was great.

The facility is great, however the front desk staff delivers subpar customer service. Most appear to be teenagers. There is a guy who is sure he is right when sharing information. It's like he doesn't read the dog's profile before he speaks. I've had to correct him multiple times.

Opus is always so excited to go to CBW and always has a great time. He is usually ready to eat and then sleep for a couple of hours after I pick him up. I love CBW too: the staff are warm, efficient, clearly love dogs, and make each dog family feel welcome, which I see when I'm with Opus and other dog families come in. I especially like that there is a half day option as Opus has a chronic leg issue (that he ignores) and 5 hours is about as long as I want him there running and playing.

It’s a very friendly and welcoming environment. Great prices. They will take the time to answer all of your questions and I always have lots of questions when leaving my pups somewhere new for the first time. The cameras are a big bonus to me but very distracting if you don’t pay attention to the time you spend looking at them! Everyone seems to enjoy their jobs and enjoy the pups.

Friendly and professional staff. My dogs are excited to go every time. They have indoor and outdoor areas. The cam web is wonderful. The training my dogs received was awesome. The trainer was patient and took his time to explain , show and help each person with training their dogs. The classes are small so as to get more individual training if needed. My dogs have learned so much. Come check it out for yourself

I have been taking my dog, Nova, to the Lawrence Camp Bow Wow for about 8 months. The facility appears clean and well kept. The employees are always very nice, but best of all, my dog can't wait to get there! She seems to absolutely love it here, so I feel comfortable leaving her there.

This place is fantastic. We had gone through level one of puppy training here and it helped out a lot with the basics. We've had our dog there for day care, and recently boarded for a weekend while we were at a wedding. We would check in on him on the cameras every once and awhile and all the staff treated the dogs so well. They're so friendly there and my dog loves it. We will absolutely be going back.

I appreciated the assessment of our dog Sammy. It was explained clearly. It gave me confidence that all the other dogs he would be interacting with were also properly assessed. The video of playtime was of good quality. I really appreciated how the supervisors/counselors interacted with the dogs and that the dogs were not left to themselves at any time. My impressions of Camp Bow Wow in Lawrence is that they do it properly; they are trained well—I will definitely recommend Camp Bow Wow in Lawrence to other dog owners.

Had a GREAT experience for our first visit! Even though they had some technical trouble with the TV up front, they let me come to the back to watch the video of our pup's interview, which I really appreciated! I love that they have video streaming so you can check in on your puppy any time of day! It's wonderful to know you can trust the team, too, because you can see them anytime!Our Great Dane has never been at a doggy "camp" like this - and he LOVED IT! The staff was great, you can tell they know what they are doing and that they treat the dogs like their own family. We will absolutely use Camp Bow Wow for trips away, and for a treat once in awhile for the pup. I highly recommend this location!

My dog loves it here! The owners and staff are great! My dog knows when we're on the way and he gets so excited even when we're walking from the parking lot! It gives him such a great day to be at Camp than be inside, home alone. They have so many options for my dog's well-being, like home visits if I'm out of town! The best part is, they know my dog by name! I love being able to bring him here!

We love the location, the separate rooms for different energy level of dogs, the cleanliness, the professionalism of staff and the ability to see what my pups are doing by watching them on the app. I also appreciate that they are open till 7pm so I have plenty of time to come pick my pups up. I love Camp Bow Wow Lawrence. I use their Home Buddies in home care services for my cats and dogs and they are wonderful! Many times I have had to contact them last minute and they always make time for me and never make me feel like I am inconveniencing them. They are very thorough and always send me pictures when they come to take care of my pets! They are very professional and always want to make sure they do everything how you ask them to. I am so happy I found them. I have had experiences with Natasha and Mike and they are both great.

Great Experience with our Nova....she always looks forward to her visits. Staff is friendly and you can tell that they love these dogs. It is a plus to be able to check in whenever you want through their camera app. Highly recommend!
