Preston and the Aquatic Arts team have given me a great experience! The website has made getting into keeping shrimp so much easier with great detailed photos and information, which makes y’all stand out from other vendors. Delivery experience was great with communication and everything arriving well packaged with care, mine came with a little heat packet to keep my shrimp from getting too cold during shipping, and all my shrimp came alive! There were even acclimation instructions included in the box with neat illustrations to help convey the instructions. I was so pleased I decided to order more shrimp and plan on doing all my business with aquatic arts from now on. Absolutely one of my best shipping experiences and best customer experiences for anything I’ve purchased. If anything can be said about Aquatics Arts, is that they care and it shows! Thank you!

I ordered 10 black rose shrimp and 4 snow amanos from here. Not only did they all show up alive, but they sent me so much more black rose shrimp than I expected! I probably got around 25 of them and could not be more impressed with their colors. This place is amazing and is going to be my go-to online fish&shrimp store!

I am so impressed with the care this shop takes with shipping their fish. They all arrived alive and healthy looking, they didn’t even look stressed! They looked so good I thought about skipping the quarantine time and just adding them directly in to my tank but I went ahead and put them in quarantine. I also very much appreciated the instruction card on how to properly acclimate the fish to their new tank. These fish looked healthier than any I’ve ever bought from a big chain store and I don’t have access to any small fish shops in my area. They are also much younger than what I can purchase at a store, which hopefully means they will live longer for me. I can’t wait to add them to their much larger new home soon! I am very happy to have found Aquatic Arts and will definitely be buying from them again!

Absolutely love Aquatic Arts!!! Over the years I have purchased all kinds of fish, dwarf shrimp, snails, and aquatic plants. They always send healthy livestock and plants, period. Not to mention they always add extras of e everything. They might take an extra few days to ship than other online retailers but their packaging and quality are far superior than the rest imho. And most importantly through their communication it is easy to tell what a great job they do, how kind they are, and that truly appreciate their customers and business. Well done Aquatic Arts!!!

I have placed several orders with aquatic arts and never have I been disappointed! The fish that arrive always come healthy. Also, I have always received 1 more than ordered. I'm guessing in case one dies. But sense very few have ever died on me, I just get an extra one. It's great. They respond to emails very quickly and are willing to work with you on shipping within reason. I highly recommend them for good, high-quality aquatic needs.

Updated review with a better picture of my little red apple crab - Goony (short for Crab Rangoon) is happy and thriving in his new permanent tank, red apples are mostly nocturnal but I got lucky and he made his little hidey hole right in the front corner of his tank and I’m able to observe him - I think he’s going to molt soon! I am still impressed with how well protected he was when he was shipped to me and I’m looking forward to ordering from this shop again when I start my freshwater tank!

My fish arrived alive and in great shape. I was very nervous ordering fish and shrimp online. But this company is diligent. They did not ship the week I ordered because it was -4 degrees outside and they knew the fish would not survive. I appreciate that and was happy to receive my fish a week later alive and well! Their customer service was responsive about my shipping also!!! I would definitely recommend!

Great customer service! Fantastic communication! Wonderful company. I will absolutely use this company again. The shrimp were gorgeous and healthy. They came in some moss, which is way better than another company I tried that used just some plastic netting where one was dead, and it was short 2. Not with Aquatic Arts. I truly believe they are the best company for healthy livestock.

I have used Aquatic Art's for years now and have watched them grow to one of the best suppliers of quality live offerings. Just recently I ordered some Zebra Thorn Nerite snails. The packaging was bar none the best I've ever seen, well packed for cold weather that arrived safely to my door in Illinois. There was clear instruction inside on how to acclimate the nerites to their new home. They are healthy and doing what the nerites do, devour algae! Thanks again for another great buying experience.

Aquatic Arts is absolutely fantastic! This was my first time ordering fish to a very rural part of Nebraska with the nearest LFS being 6-8 hours away. Their packaging was amazing, clearly marked with live fish being the EXACT size to comfortably house/protect the Cardinal Neon Tetras (12) I purchased.Not only did every single fish survive the trip, they had heating and insulation that kept them comfortable in the VERY cold storms gripping Nebraska.(They won't ship in extreme conditions unsuitable for fish, which I completely understand and admire!)The fish were in absolutely immaculate condition with ZERO signs of neon tetra disease and started eating and behaving as normal just a few hours after drip acclimating to my 55gal aquarium. You can tell they put a GREAT DEAL of care in the raising and shipping of their fish.More than 72 hours later all are still alive and loving their new home, with a fish that has a reputation of being sickly or with neon tetra disease issues I will state with full confidence and certainty that Aquatic Arts just received a lifetime customer.If you have never ordered online and are wary, I can understand because I was the same way. After receiving my Neons from aquatic Arts I absolutely have no fears anymore.(They also have a live arrival guarantee!)Thank you all at Aquatic Arts for the neon tetras, the hard work and hours you put in to provide amazing fish shows! First time ordering and highly impressed with the customer service and quality that Aquatic Arts provided. I received my Bloody Mary Shrimp on Feb 9 and as of yesterday, Feb 22, I already nearly doubled (I can only see 7 so far) my colony with babies from 1 of 2 that were berried on arrival. Michigan experienced a significant drop in temperatures right after I ordered and I quickly received an email from them with options to wait, increase shipping to overnight status, or refund. I chose to wait and when temps improved they let me know they were shipping. Packaging was perfect and heat packs were still quite warm as I unpacked and followed the instructions (also well done). As a bonus, I received a couple extra and all are healthy and thriving. Great experience!

I received my order a little over a week ago and couldn't be happier. There was a delay with shipping due to cold weather, but I love that they prioritize the health and safety of the plants/ animals. The packaging was fantastic for a safe and warm trip, too. Communication was great when checking on my order, also.The hornwort was in great condition. There were a few hitchhiker snails but that was clearly explained in the product description, and I was prepared to remove them. The Java Moss looks great and is already taking off.I ordered 5 Painted Fire Red Shrimp. I received 7 with a wee little shrimplet. All arrived in great health, and the moss in the bag was a great touch for cover during transit and drip acclimating. They all survived and are doing great in my aquarium.I loved my experience with Aquatic Arts and will use them for any upcoming purchases!

I cannot recommend Aquatic Arts ENOUGH!! If I could leave 10 stars I would. I have been an aquarium enthusiast for most of my life and have always kept fish, however at this junction in my life that has shifted to nano/dwarf shrimp, snails and cory cats.I was looking and searching so much online for a reputable place to order some snails online (Ramshorn and Rabbit) but I was extremely hesitant especially because most companies who ship them are far from me. I took the plunge with AA and I’m so glad I did, the ordering process was so simple, they have amazing prices and even payment installments.I was so impressed with the shipping, my babies came extremely quick and the packaging and instructions for acclimation were TOP NOTCH. All of my snails are extremely healthy and already eating, cruising around, and my Rams are already laying eggs, there was even some eggs laid in the bags they came in.AA truly cares about their quality and their livestock. I will be a FOREVER customer for sure!! I can’t wait to place another order!!I even wrote a follow up email letting them know how everything went and Preston responded and was so very kind. The excellent customer service is the cherry on top. If you’re considering it - DO IT!!! You won’t regret it. ♥️

A GIANT thank you to Preston and the entire Aquatic Arts team! I am so impressed with my entire experience. To start, your website is beautiful, the photos are eye catching. Ordering was easy and I appreciate your fish biographies and notes for newbies like me. Not all companies add these details and it’s noticeable. Also, very helpful and gave me opportunity to research further. Delivery went smoothly and was on time! I ordered multiple live plants, assassin snails, and one mystery snail. I’m so excited to start my aquarium journey with to you and look forward to ordering my fish from you. My husband has kept fish for most of his life, and this is a project we always wanted to continue together and finally have the time to do so. My little snails are beautiful and lively already! I’m actually surprised how quickly the little assassins move and they’re fun to watch. The mystery snail took a bit longer to wake up, but now he’s moving around nicely and is super adorable doing snail stuff and exploring. I want to add, I’m very impressed with the packaging as well. I absolutely love this place and can’t say enough good things about them. I’ve bought plants, snails, shrimp, crayfish, endlers, a leopard pleco, loaches, and just recently a couple of black tail koi swordtail fish (they were delivered today and they are beautiful, the pictures didn’t do them justice). All items I have received have great coloring and are healthy. They also have excellent customer service - a couple of times I’ve added to my order after I completed the purchase and they were prompt when replying to me and made it super easy.

We have enjoyed our fresh water( 55 gallon) aquarium for 7 years. Recently, we ordered some various fish from a company (Not Aquatic Arts) and were devastated to watch nearly all of the fish die in a matter of days. Also, our existing fish started dying in a week or two. Lost a total of about 20 fish. No apologizing from the company after sending them our story.Just received a pack of 6 platties from you. I ordered 12 Emperor Tetras and 3 Peacock Gudgeons from Aquatic Arts. I quickly received my specimens to find out that my Tetras were the Black variant (which I did not want)which are cool, don't get me wrong but since I have a dark setup, you'd have to squint to see them. Disappointed, I contacted Aquatic Arts telling them that I had recieved the wrong variant. I didn't really expect anything in return as their policy doesn't accept returns but I reached out so that they would be more careful in the future. I sent pictures and evidence that I did not receive the correct ones and after they investigated, they gave me 3 options and out of those options was to receive my Tetras...For Free.I took up that offer because I love tetras and to have a huge school of both Black and Normal Emperor Tetras would be awesome. To this day, they are all thriving. All 24.I thank Aquatic Arts for their fast response and by living by their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and I will recommend them to other Aqua Enthusiasts!

I ordered several varieties of Anubias on several sizes of driftwood. The items I received exceeded my expectations! The plants were healthy, with healthy roots attached to the driftwood. I liked that the website gave specific information about which variety would be attached. Since they mature differently, it helps to have this information to plan the aquascape.

Ok I really hate to do this. I really wanted to like them, I think they have good intention. This may be just a species specific issue but my first order of Rummy-nose tetra came in and the 3 came in dead on arrival and the next 5 died over the next two days. I emailed and they were very accommodating, resending the order. This order looked great 7 fairly healthy rummy-nose tetra but as the days have gone on one died then the rest are full of ich and they are not old enough to fight it off. I have been using ich x and doing water changes all the time. now there are 2 left both have ich and probably will not make it. I have an order of plants and 3 kuhlis coming in sometime in the coming weeks, still have not received a tracking code and its been over a week and a half (I ordered before this mess), I am really disappointed and just do not know what to do.Edit: Thank you for being so transparent I think you guys are doing good work and Kuhlis are hardier so I hope everything works out and I am excited for plants. Sucks that Central Florida UPS area struggles with live fish.
