16 years ago I walked in to a pet store to buy cat food. My heart was broken at the loss of one of our cats, my 20 year old Mews-ette. Little did I know that Josie was perched on top of a Helping Paws cage at an adoption event. She has been the sweetest cat I have ever had and I love her dearly! Happy 16th birthday Josie! As far as rescue goes, I feel we made a great choice. Out feline was a great fit for us!May have been a bad morning, but our kitty was not exactly ready to go. My husband felt like they were a bit pushy and bossy. However, I'm happy with our adoption.

I went to Helping Paws to find a kitty needing my love the worst. Matthew hqd been a resident at HPPH for 3 years, always looked over because of.him having only 1 eye. Since coming home, he has been a loving by-my-side companion. I'm so glad HPPH didn't give up on him finding a home!

Helping Paws is a real NO KILL Cat Sanctuary. The love and care they show each cat or kitten is EXCEPTIONAL . Super clean and the staff is very friendly. They also give great medical care to any kitty that needs it. I adopted 2 kitties from them in 2008 and have maintained my relationship with this caring group since then. They do an AMAZING job as they receive no government money and run by donations and fundraisers.

The ladies that work here are super nice. All the cats are vaccinated and they make sure that they are very healthy. They’ve helped so many cats and run on donations only, so it’s purely people helping animals. I volunteer here and I have to say it’s my favorite place.

This is a wonderful place. I've adopted 2 of my cats from there and they have helped so many kitties. Big rooms with furniture for basking in the sun.... windows for the cats and very clean. Wonderful volunteers.

My son and I went here a few weeks ago and had such a wonderful time visiting with the cats. Definitely planning on going back to visit again.
