I'm always surprised at how nice the younger employees are. There were a couple of older staff members that I could tell went out of their way to avoid helping me. They may have been busy with other things. However, the last two times, a young gentleman helped me (with paint and getting galvanized trash can) and went out of his way to check on me in a thoughtful way.I have built numerous local Ace Hardware sites, and so I'm always conscious about going to support these businesses.

This is one of the best Ace stores around. Ran by a local family and everyone knows there stuff. Make sure to stop in and pass those box stores.

Great place in downtown Huntington. I had to get an anode rod and they had one left! Staff was friendly and super knowledgeable. Saved my a lot of $ and time after I talked to them.

Great workers, great product selection. It was cold, and I was joking with a worker, his name was Jarod, about loading some cinderblocks. He was right on it. We need more workers like this with excellent customer service skills in the business today.

It's definitely my go-to since my work is nearby, and they have a pretty decent collection of different things for different situations, but they got a ways to go before becoming a catch-all tool shop like most Lowes, Home Depots, or Menards. Although, they are definitely starting to catch up. I think the only thing holding them back is the size of their shop.Edit: shop has expanded VASTLY, and nearly DOUBLED their store size. There's a pickup drive through for ppl on the job and in a hurry, and their selection, I'm told, will be improving in the next couple weeks as well

I was greeted promptly upon entering the building. younger employee rushed over to help me with my power tool selection. Unfortunately they were out of what I needed at this time but I will definitely come back to look again. I saw some very good deals and sales. Very unusual high selection on unusual items. Pretty cool

They usually have what I want, however, not a great staff. There are a couple of friendly employees, the rest of them make you feel like you don't belong there. Blank stares, no "Hello", no offering assistance, nothing. Just blank, uncomfortable stares. It makes me feel so uneasy when I go there.

Finch feeder I bought broke 2 days later the ball welded to the top popped off. Not there fault it was a manufacturing mistake. I took it back they were going to give me my money back but I asked if they could fix it. Bob took me to the shop we welded it on and I got to keep my close out sale finch feeder. Truly above and beyond. Thanks Ace you were awesome.

Loved it. The first time I walked in was just to get ideas on a project. As soon as I walked in I was told to let them know if I needed help. After looking around for a short while another worker asked the same. Before I left a third one asked and I accepted help. They quickly found what I needed and made sure I was getting the cheapest prices I could. Thumbs up

They have everything and if you ever need any help with Electrical questions nick is your guy he helped me with a install on a doorbell install and he answered all my questions he was Patient and vary nice so if you need help with that stuff he's your guy thank you so much nick

Went in and was immediately greeted by two gentlemen that were very nice and helpful. I had been sent in by my husband to pick up a furnace filter since I was going to be in the area. My husband had also sent a picture of what I needed so that made it even easier! They got my filter to me and then I shopped around a bit. I got a couple batteries for the smoke detectors and then I saw the Yeti items. I guess I will have to come back another day because I just don't have enough money for every one of them that I want. There is a nice selection of colors, styles and sizes.

Poor service. I walked in and walked around looking for assistance. Three people were standing around in the back eating. They saw me and ignored me and went on about their conversations. Finally I ask and they pointed out the row I needed. Lazy and disrespectful service, I wont go in there again

Helpful staff, I have never had poor customer service, no unanswered questions. I've used this stores in store pickup, delivery service, and been inside the store for purchases. I recommend this store as my personal opinion a go to before other stores.

We went here to get a new sump pump battery... one of the associates pointed out it just needed more distilled water or battery acid in it. It saved us a lot of money! Way appreciative of the advice as oppose to just trying to make a larger sale. Thank you so much! We will be back!

Asked for help with equipment. Was taken to it. Asked for assistance. completely ignored. Grabbed the ladder to get stuff my self and the woman at the register saw me and watched me. Than when I went to get my products. Literally yelled at me and belittled me and told me how much of a bad person I was for trying to get the products I asked for help in the 1st place. Please lady suck my imagination located between the lowe abdominal region.
