Great little used bookstore with a variety of books, movies and music for all tastes. Even have a few things for all your pets out there. Very reasonable prices. All proceeds from purchases goes to support ark animal shelter. So buy a lot and donate generously.

Awesome place for an awesome cause! Run by some very sweet volunteers. Proceeds go to the animals! Nicely labeled sections. Suggested donations only. Great place to get lost for a few, and they even have tables to sit a spell!

I buy all my cat's clothing from here. They are great people and a good cause behind it. Sometimes though the prices are funky for the pet clothes because there is no specific price for that category. So they will just make something up, witch is completely fine it is just the prices with change for that category. Like I got a cat dress for a dollar and I have also got one for fifty cent it all depends on the volunteer. Witch all the volunteers are great people who love to chat and have a conversation with you.

Totally loved our last minute visit to this super cute and super budget friendly bookstore! We got 2 bags full of books for 6 bucks! Us AND our kids are super excited. Cash only! But definitely recommend. Oh! And don't go last minute like us (we only had 30 minutes to look before they closed!) Would have definitely been able to spend a couple hours looking. Next time! :)

Great prices on the books for a wonderful cause benefiting ARK Animal Sanctuary/Rescue, a local no-kill animal shelter. A friendly staff of volunteers keep the large selection of books well organized. I was impressed with the quality of the donated books, plus there are puzzles and other items in addition to books. Highly recommend a visit when in the Howe area.

This is the very best bookstore. They are not for profit and suggest donation amounts, with profits going to the Arc Animal Shelter, which is a NON-KILL shelter south of LaGrange. The books, etc come from private donations. The shelter and bookstore are both manned by volunteers, of which, I am proud to say, my grandson Matt and I are part of. You should visit.....prices are low, there are sales, and so so much to choose from. SEE YOU THERE♡♡♡♡.

We love this used book store. Huge selection. Proceeds benefit local pet rescue. Stafg are volunteers and books are donated. We drive an hour to get there because there's so many to chose frim, prices are low, and the benefits are heartwarming.

Not only is this place really well organized for a used book store but all the proceeds go to maintaining the no kill shelter in town. I got my black cat there and the place is just as well maintained as the book shop. I love this place.

GREAT place!! Books of all kinds, and the selection changes constantly, so it pays to check back as often as possible!! Plus, local animal shelters are NO KILL because of the Ark Bookstore and because of people who get their books there, often for as little as 2$ instead of 20, and for 1$ instead of 10!!
