I asked for the key to the public restroom from the cashier on duty. After receiving the key and heading to the bathroom for a total of 5 minutes, I returned to see that all my items in my card had been put back on the shelves where they went without my permission! I will never shop at Dollar general again after this missile experience. I was in a head-on car crash and only had the use of one arm. This is absolutely unacceptable!

This is legitimately the best Dollar general location that I've ever visited, and not just today but on a consistent basis. It is a very large store that has more grocery options than most, yet it is always clean, very well stocked, and for the most part staffed by very friendly individuals. Literally one of my very favorite places to shop in the area

Dollar general in Hope is always clean and the staff is always very friendly. Sometime the cashier Chris can be a little slow. But God love her she works more than one job.

Dollar store always looks like a mess stuff on the floors everywhere. And they always seem to be out of stock on alot of items. Just not very well organized. Short staffed. Employees are friendly just stretch so far they can only do one thing at a time. And some of their items are more expensive then other stores.

They are just about to be closed for a few days... For a renovation... I can't imagine how they will be able to do all im 5 days... I looking forward to see...As torn up as they were, getting ready... I was real happy they were still serving customers... Until the heavy duty work begins.Have only been there 2 times... I am new tp area... My first tripI did think to.myself... This store a little turned upside down... Had not realized... And kind of just slugged it off... Because it was product on several carts...And kind of went through my mind they may be closing... Glad they aren't.Be safe y'all.

Dollar General is always fast through the checkout line and they usually have what you were looking for may not always be exactly what you're looking for but almost always they have something that will work whether it's personal hygiene a snack for the kids drinks to pack in the cooler heck they even have LED light bulbs the place is really good for the neighborhood I definitely give it 5 stars

Only store in town but great ppl, service, selection, and for being the only local store in the area, they'd be walmart any day. Would Gove 5 stars but one hateful employee just takes the whole stone to a 4 star. She needs to go and this place will be a 5 star. This employee is always hateful, not just bad days for this lady she's awful.

You have one employee that is so slow and we have to wait on her all the time and she put soda with coin rolls I had to take them out so they don’t get smashed. While putting my bag in the car it broke cause she failed to even double bag.

This Dollar general is THE cleanest, most organized Dollar general store I've ever been in! Fantastic place to shop where everything is where it should be and properly priced with great, happy, helpful sales people!

This DG isn’t your ordinary Dollar General!!! The little surprising town of Hope, IN doesn’t have a grocery store so this store carries a little more than your average DG!!!! Staff is always courteous and the store is always clean of clutter when I’ve visited it!!!

I usually go in here and they're usually quick and cant complain except for one lady shes always grouchy and mean, she slammed a bag of chips I bought as well. Other than that I dont have much else to complain about

Located in the small town of Hope, Indiana. The local Dollar General store is a blessing stocked with everything from groceries and snacks to cold medicine and baby care items. Very convenient for this rural community. Jim Becker

The dollar store, Hope, IN, is the cleanest and best dollar store. Usually they have stock carts everywhere. This store doesn't and clean with a friendly staff.

Music is to loud in the store at night and when I asked them to turn it down I had to yell. They shut it off. Since then I have went in there other times when the same girls are working and it is still loud.

This is one of the larger Dollar General stores I've been in. The have a very large selection because of that fact. It is fairly new and organized and maintained well.

Best place to get anything you need if your from Hope. If they had fresh produce some Hopites would never have to go to Columbus.

This store is always well kept and has a very decent selection of household items. There isn't any produce to speak of, but the grocery prices are very competitive!

Got some snacks: chips, wafers, cheese puffs, etc. Social distancing practiced by the staff and most shoppers. It does not have a bike rack so I had to secure mine at the light poll👎🏾

Most always are there ridiculously long lines.... I mean everyone & their mother shops here, with it being the only store in Hope. Some of the cashiers could take lessons in customer service

Very convenient if not wanting to drive to Columbus but the line can be a bit long so be patient.
