I went in to grab some yard work clothes . I was surprised how many other random things I was able to find that I could you. Pretty clean compared to what I had heard about Goodwills and ran by pretty friendly people. My cashier was nice and smiling the whole time. She had nothing but good things to say about her employer’s l. It’s nice to see someone happy at work!

We went to this area from a nearby orchard. Wanted to see what goodwill in this place looks like. Some prices are epensive. But can still find better prices on some items.Store need some cleaning but overall its great.

I went to this location on the 50% off day and it was very crowded Which I thought was OK because it was the 50% off day but the inside was very crowded. Is it a bad smell? It was surrounded by the police people stealing stuff and it was just very uncomfortable. Using Goodwill is pretty clean but this one needs Work, we left our itching and didn’t buy anything. It was not my favorite location I would be hesitant to go back.

Been clearing out my storage unit and bringing stuff to Goodwill that we don't have room for or no longer need, I was a little emotional dropping off my youngest daughter's baby items. I'm a somewhat hesitant.The lady at pickup; seen I was a little bit upset about it. Then as we were deciding if we were going to individually put the items in the bin or how we wanted to go about it. She took the box of my baby stuff went into the room and was throwing them into Bins to sort them. As a mom I'm already personally having a hard time with dealing with how big my baby's getting, And I know it's my choice to get rid of her things (also we have nowhere to put them and I kept the real sentimental) but it also sucks to watch someone heartlessly throwing stuff across the room and to Bins. I would rather hoard stuff and post it for free for families in need. When she came out I said I can't believe you just did that. Got my car and drove home crying.

This location is okay. Lots of mistakes such as selling broken electronics which are never tested and forgetting to give you the receipt so not you can't return it and get your money back. Thsi has happened. They sell completely broken items which is a real bummer and charge over double of other thrift stores. The crew is wonderful though. I true appreciate them all a great deal. The problems are all corporate and poor training.

Corporate fat cats get rich off of your donations while they pay the employees garbage money for busting thier butt. Ever look up how much executives make at Goodwill? Research and let me know if you'll ever donate to these greedy slugs again. Donate to Salvation army or a local mom and pop shop who could use the help instead of Greedy Goodwill.

Usually just donate here. Had a friend invite me to check out their 50% off day. It did not disappoint. So many cute summer dresses, good quality and couldn't beat the prices. Definitely looking forward to doing more than just drop off!

The lady who was following us while we were shopping and decided to take what we had put to the side for us to buy and put it in the cart for things to put back. Then instead of hanging it to me when asked she just pointed to the cart. For one you’re rude. Two if you don’t like your job I suggest you quit. And yes we did go to the one in crown point I know you heard us say it. So In case you’re reading this just know you’re the reason so one goes to this one

They have a ton of stuff and the people are really nice there..... However they are way overpriced..... Some t-shirts were $9.99 and this is all stuff donated for free.... Their stuff would move a lot faster if it was cheaper..... I was going to buy some school clothes for my friends kids...... We only got a few things and it was almost $70..... And this is stuff that was used and donated for free.... I almost feel like I could have taken them to Ross or Burlington and got stuff brand new for the same price. If you looking for shoes and you find them they are amazingly priced however close not so much. There's a couple of places in Valpo, Bethesda's and men's creations shop that are way better priced and the money goes to help other people out...... Or there's a place in crown point that I forgot the name that the clothes are super cheap.....🤷🏻‍♀️

I found what I needed as soon as I walked in the store. I had o ly been to 1 other Goodwill store and my mom suggested I check out the one we found my winter boots at. The second store was clean neat and orderly and the cashier was helpful and I even got a discount on my boots. A dollar is a dollar when you donr have much and I appreciate that effort!! 💯

I scored it a 2 because of the cashier. I was purchasing my things when a woman came up behind me and was extremely close. I couldn't even put my card number in. I asked her was she in a hurry and she replied I'm all over the place. The cashier didn't ask her to step back or anything. As I was leaving the store I over her and the cashier talking about me. I replied it is a thing that's called personal space. First and last time for this store.

This place has the best prices on things that are gently used and often never used. Retail Therapy for me. The workers are so friendly and customers stop to chat. It is a shopping experience for the nostalgic.

Goodwill needs to get a grip. Items are donated . How do they justify charging 49.99 for a used lamp with a cracked base and a cut cord. Not even vintage. If a customer did not think to check the cord someone msu have gotten hurt. The staff is terrible at the Hobart_IN goodwill. Smoking in front of the building. Yelling across the store to other employees. Can't put any pictures up didn't buy anything at new prices

Prices are pretty good. Some of the selection is great (mostly depends on what is donated at any given time) but you get essentially what you look for or just try a different goodwill location. Oh and sometimes the condition may need cleaning or minor repair.

Went to drop off a van full of donations from an estate sale. Everything was in plastic boxes and the person donating wanted his plastic boxes boxes. They would take any of it saying they had nowhere to dop it. Now this is Hobart. So...We drove to Portage and they took it with out question

Goodwill has gotten so out of control driven by the greed of CEOs, District Leaders and Store Managers that they have sold their souls and hide behind a false bravado. They help NOBODY. Under paying disabled works is not something to bang your chests about. Charging outrageous prices for DONATED goods is pathetic. If only the people who donated knew what you really did with their items, I'm positive they would take them elsewhere.

Clothes are way to expensive! $10 for a second hand shirt, I can get better prices in clearance isle. Nonetheless I have gotten a few deals on other items, and employees are ok. Store can be a little more organized and cleaner.

I never have issues with Goodwill. Nice place friendly staff, although one staff member really got under my skin because she must not understand the world we live in and what it means to SOCIAL DISTANCE. Very upsetting.

They seem to be raising their prices. I saw a trench coat priced at $100 with a $79 clearance tag from the original store, and a broken watch case selling for $25. But overall still not bad. Friendly staff.

The lady that waited on me was very polite, told me about the sales coming up, gave me a rewards card, explained that, and was fast at what she did. I had a fantastic experience. Great job!

Waited in line to have the cashier go to another register to do a return.when we asked why? She said she didn't know we were in line.10 minutes standing while she helped the women in front of us.
