I called today at 10am to have them refill my script so that it would be done by 3pm before I went to work. They said it would be ready at 2pm. I called back at 2:30 to make sure it was ready before heading up there and they tell me it's scheduled for 9pm. So I told the pharmacist I called earlier and it was promised at 2pm and told her who I talked to.. she said she did not recognize the name I'm giving her but she will expedite it. I go up there at 345pm and still no script. Mind you I am the only one there waiting for a script and did not receive my script until almost 420pm. Now I am a half hour late for work. I hate to complain but this isn't the first or second or even third time I have had issues with getting my scripts. I get scripts for myself and 3 other family members and always seem to have issues. I understand it's a busy store but that was the purpose of me calling early and still didn't help.. Time to go to a different CVS

I just truly don't understand why the technicians have to bounce around computer to computer to complete something. I needed a medication refilled, waited at one computer, but then was told they couldn't look it up at the computer we were at, so I had to go to the opposite side. This is not the technicians fault, but rather horrid operating systems.They then told us it would be ready the next day...okay, that's 10000% fine. I understand pharmacies are busy. I have no problem waiting if others are before me. Not even 15 minutes later we receive a text half way home that the prescription is ready. The technician didn't even ask us if we wanted to wait for it, he said it would be ready tomorrow. If I had waited a little longer picking out slippers, I could've gotten the prescription the same day and wouldn't have to go back. This is the technicians fault... A little communication goes a long way..I don't think anyone likes repetitively going back and forth places when they could easily get it done in one swoop. Luckily for me, I get to wait in their 30 min drive thru, and 20 min inside line tomorrow, a Saturday, probably only to be faced with another issue.Have I mentioned CVS is quite literally the worst retail chain pharmacy???? Unfortunately my husbands insurance is only accepted there. Will be making a move to transfer to someone OTHER than CVS. I can't with them anymore. lmao. I don't know a single person who enjoys going here. And yes, this did make me feel better.

A special thank you to all the pharmacy staff! A family member asked for a rush on my medication that had been out of stock for a couple days and they had it filled after about 2hrs. I was too sick and they allowed my father to pick it up on my behalf with ID. Thank you CVS pharmacy care team for your understanding, compassion and hard work!

Horrible, horrible experience with the pharmacy was completely worst ever!!!Had just gotten out of hospital after 10 days of major surgery to get meds and treated by the pharmacy with such disrespect, disregard talked down to .Others in line had same treatment as well and upset. Self ritcheous individuals. This location gets alot of individuals that are coming from ER or discharged from hospital and dealing with alot to be treated so poorly. Had to come back twice for meds. Second time due to severe pain went to drive up all of which counted 8 cars in line with no movement so went inside. Had to shake my head there were 2 gals laughing and wiping down the counter by drive through window.watched as stood in line for several minute before window opened to help customers. I HAVE READ SEVERAL SIMILAR comments regarding location. Come on cooperate they're are individuals that are caring and would love to have such a position. Spoke to front of store manager and pharmacy manager.This is the first time I have ever posted a complaint with anything. Iam an educated and very understanding individual.However regarding this situation had to.Hopefully the higher ups will take notice to all recent and previous comments and complaints. The gal that did was running register part was kind and definitely could see mistreatment from the mean girls. NEVER AGAIN TO USE THIS LOCATION AND WAS WARNED SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. wish could give negative stars.

This cvs has terrible customer service. If you shop on a Saturday and use your app to find what is on sale in the ad . the average person will look at the current running ad. Apparently, they won't honor sales that run Sunday to Saturday after 6 pm when there are no signs posted. They also have no new sale signs posted so you have to check the app for the correct items. But when you get those items according to the add and it still doesn't ring up right they say we'll it's nothing we can do about it even though you've done everything thing they have told you to do. They are very unprofessional and rude stay away from this store it's not worth the headache.

I’ve been going to CVS Pharmacy on E. Ridge Rd for yrs and I couldn’t imagine patronizing any other Pharmacy! The staff at the pharmacy are always professional, pleasant, friendly, smiling and seem happy to be at work.❤️ On my most recent visit the Pharmacist on duty was Mr. Bernard and the Technician who waited on me was Miss Terry. I’ve seen a lot of new faces at the Pharmacy recently but, whoever is training the staff is doing an excellent job and whom ever is Managing must be leading by example because I’m never disappointed in the most excellent service I always receive when I visit CVS Pharmacy on E. Ridge Rd. in Hobart IN. Thank you to the entire staff for never disappointing!!❤️❤️

I came in on Friday to pick up my prescription that I have been on for years. They told me that it was on Hold because my doctors office only ordered a 30 day supply and insurance would only approve a 90 day supply. After a few minutes the technician said he found it. And it would be ready in an hour. I came the next day and picked it up. When I got home and opened the container I noticed the pills were different and then saw that it was a completely different milligram then what I take. I called the pharmacy immediately. I explained to Morgan the pharmacist I presume the problem. She said she didn’t know why the wrong one was filled, and that she saw that it was a 90 day supply. She would fill the correct one and it would be ready in an hour. BUT the most infuriating part is- I not only have to go back for the 3rd time for my medicine, but I have to pay for the wrong medicine and the right one because I left the store already with the wrong one. You would think that since this clearly was completely the pharmacy’s fault that they would at least give me the correct medicine at no charge since I’ve paid for the wrong one! But no, that’s their policy! I will be finding a new pharmacy that takes more accountability for their mistakes and don’t make their customers pay for it. CVS should be embarrassed that they are ripping off customers and insurance companies too!

I was picking up a prescription for the first time here, and not only was the technician at the counter not wearing a mask, she was very rude, and treated me like an addict. My drivers license had just expired, and my new one is in the mail, but she said she couldn’t take it (which is fine, rules are rules). The medication I was getting filled is a controlled substance, yes, but I didn’t think switching to a new pharmacy closer to my house would result in the flippant, accusatory manner in which I was treated. I get that they were busy, but you can still be polite back to people when they treat you with respect and courtesy.

The people who work in this pharmacy are the rudest people I have ever come in contact with. When going into the store they always seem to have plenty of people who are suppose to be working. They seem to stand around a lot and do nothing. Any time I call I am always on hold for at least 6-10 minutes. Today was the final straw. I had called in an order for a refill. It was suppose to have been ready yesterday at 11:00 a.m.. Today by 11:00 a.m. I still hadn't heard anything. I call and am put on hold again. I drive clear across town, pull into the drive through and am still on hold! I explain why I am there the tech leaves me I assume to go get the medicine. About 8 minutes later she comes back and says it's ready and she's waiting for the pharmacist to count it and sign. This script has 1 pill in it! She leaves again. Comes back 4-5 minutes later and ask me to pull out of line drive around the building and get back in line! There are now 5 cars in line! I was furious! I left. I pull in at home and get the text it's ready. I don't know what their issue is there but something needs to change. I am going to change the CVS I GO to. If I didn't have to use CVS because of insurance I wouldn't!

My dr sent over a prescription at 12pm I checked the status through the automated system at 3pm and it said it was still processing. I get alerts and texts letting me know when my prescriptions have been filled but when I didnt receive anything by 6pm I called to speak with a tech. The tech said it will be at least another hour! 9pm, still no text so I call again and the pharmacists asked "would you like to pick up your prescription tonight, we can have it ready in 15 minutes." What? Why didn't you do that 9 hours ago??? So annoying.

The worst pharmacy ever! I'm never able to get my prescriptions on time like they sent out text messages saying they are ready. Also the day my Dr. Puts in the prescriptions to be filled when I have life threatening health issues, they don't care and make you wait until next day. Also forget about going to pick up prescriptions through drive through, you will be waiting in line for an hour. They are the worst ! I'm trying to get my insurance to let me switch to Walgreens. Walgreens is way better.

Customer service is different, not at all how it use to be. I don't feel like my needs matter with store staff, pharmacy staff is very caring and make sure you have what you need. Thank you pharmacy staff for your kindness. It is well appreciated 😊👏👏

Your drive through line is hours long. You never have scripts done on time. You take scripts saying youre able to fill them then you arent when they're being picked up. No phone call to let me know the change either. I always have to settle for generic. Get your store together or bring back Walgreens. You guys are a MESS**update** still a mess...the pharmacy has given me the wrong medication TWICE by 2 DIFFERENT pharmacists and the other issues still exist.

This is seriously the worst pharmacy ever. They must be understaffed. 15-20 minutes usually runs hours. Hour+ waits you may as well just come back another day. Hope its not life or death you get that script. Ive been sitting here with other customers and EVERY Single one of us hates this place. Please send help to this pharmacy CVS corporation.

Pharmacy takes HOURS and sometimes days to get a prescription filled. I called for my sons medicine and they said it was ready but needed to be verified by a pharmacist to be ready and told me it’ll be ready in an hour! I asked so it takes an hour to get it verified? And the lady goes well I have to find it and then verify it and I said so it takes an hour to do that too? Luckily I was heading out Somewhere else first or else I would’ve just headed up there and had them do it then and there. I understand they get busy but damn! It’s ridiculous how long you have to wait for medicine so god forbid if you’re sick!

My mother had just come home from a 3+ month stay at the hospital, had always used walgreens but decided to try CVS because it's closer to the house. She did not have any prescription drug coverage through medicare and was getting 11 different prescriptions filled, 1 of the 11 was over $300. Whatever the lady did for my mother, she brought the entire total down to around $230. Every person I spoke to at the pharmacy was super friendly and helpful. They've earned all my business from walgreens from now on.

Self check out is horrible. Does not save the customer or the workers time in any shape or form. It is a waste of time and slows down the process of the check out. It’s supposed to be quick and easy. Instead it wastes and does not properly ring the items up. Also forces you to use a bag even for one or two items. Not environmentally friendly either.

Horrible service, have come to the Ridge Rd location a number of times only to have my prescriptions NOT ready. There are times when I have had to call a number of times because my prescriptions list on the app as in process for days on end. I am calling my insurance company on Monday and advocating for them to stop using CVS. I have never had such horrible service at any other pharmacy. I HATE CVS.

Hands down the overall best CVS Pharmacy team to be found in the area. Unlike the Portage location, they treat you with dignity and respect. They actually treat you as if you're an adult! I know, absolutely shocking!!! The pharmacy staff will go out of their way to assist you and the two primary pharmacists, Karyn and Zach, have everything on lockdown over there and run a tight ship of thoughtful, courteous employees.Very easily the best CVS Pharmacy in Northwest Indiana. The others don't even come close!

If I could give no stars I would. I was on hold for 30 minutes so I drove there still on hold 45mins later. Not one car in the drive thru and all of 5 people inside. So why was I on hold for 45 minutes. And while I'm inside theyre literally waiting for people to hang up the phone instead of answering. I had a simple question. I had to leave work just to go ask about a prescription. Terrible service and always slow.

They called me and asked me if I want to be put on their plan where I pick up my prescriptions all at once and I said yes year-and-a-half two years later I still can't get all my prescriptions at the same time I pick one up come back in three days pick another one up come back in two days pick another one up and I keep asking I said I thought this is put on prescriptions were they all picked up at the same time she goes oh you want it on that and I said yes still I cannot get it after asking him 568 * put me in that plan where I get all my prescriptions at once and I still can't get it to this date and spend up all over two years by now they don't go out of your way to help

This is the location I use. It's usually a pretty good experience. Sometimes it does takes the pharmacy a while to answer their phone, but they do get busy so it's understandable. Because of this I suggest going there instead of calling for important discussions.

This is the absolute worst CVS. Dropped off 2 prescriptions yesterday was told after 45 mins to come back today after 11 got there at 3 they were not filled was told 15 mins. 45 mins later they were ready had to wait 15 mins to pay

Last 3 times that I have gone to CVS,I have had to find a cashier. I don't do self- checkout ever nowhere nohow. I don't work at CVS. One star is one too many for rating.
