Great deals. Sale prices on beef are particularly good. They slap a new sticker on there with a higher original price and then discount it down but it's still higher than the original price.

we were at self checkout and this lady came over and took the toilet paper out of our cart and said “i cannot let you purchase this” and walked away with our toilet paper. my grandpa is now stuck on the toilet with no toilet paper. i am very unhappy with this and we now don’t have any toilet paper. 😡

Prices are a little more nowadays. But I guess that's to be expected in this economy. I really really dislike the fact they have a ton of self check outs, however no scanners to scan your big items. To ask an associate for one not only takes forever, but they make you feel like your bothering them. The space is very limited as well. Barely any room to bag and place your items, while your ringing up, without bumping into someone else next to you. They definitely need to fix and adjust this. Deli has delicious items and a varied selection, although at times the wait is ridiculous because of lack of workers available. It used to be my go to place, not anymore however. Hopefully they can make some adjustments and hire some more employees.

Meijer is just huge. At the front of the store they have a Coffee Cabin, Ben's Pretzels, beauty salon and barbershop. A deli features Deitz & Watson deli meats and cheeses. The produce was good quality. They even have live fish in the pets department.

I had a terrible experience with a cashier here that has completely turned me off from ever shopping here again. With the people in line ahead of me, she was incredibly friendly and chatty. And when it came to me, she wouldn't even acknowledge I existed. She wouldn't look at me. She wouldn't acknowledge my greetings. It was an utterly abrupt turn in demeanor and behavior. And I can only assume it is because she did not approve of me as a person.I don't expect cashiers to be joyous rays of light. Cashiering sucks and it is a tough job, but to act as she did towards me versus how she did others was just so transparent. If she had umbrage with me as a person, so be it. I don't expect everyone to approve of me, but to make it so blatantly obvious that my presence is unwanted in your store is just galling.And since I only received token gestures from the managers of this location, I can only assume that I am unwanted there. And so I will never return to it. If you don't want my money, so be it. You won't get it.

Meijers is the store that I used during the pandemic. I love the ordering process. They even delivered to Gary, when other stores would not. The started the reward points, which I absolutely love. I've gotten discounts on delivery, food, and gas. They continue to improve the online process, and the feature they added to select a replacement item is awesome. It changed from being disappointed at not receiving an item, to at least I got the substitute, especially when you needed for that days meal. Then they send coupons of your favorite shopped items in the mail for discount. I saved $20 in the store on time. I do hate that they changed the points where they expire, but other than that, they're awesome. I would definitely recommend the Highland Meijers!

I shop here occasionally, come here when things are on sale. I recommend the mperks app, they have good deals front time to time. I don't like the signs above the isles they only give you have the description, you have to look all the way at the other end to see the rest of the description. If you haven't been here they have long isle's.

Without question the worst pickup service. Missed so many items or subbed items in that didn’t make sense and or were less in quantity than we had paid for. Absurd you can pay for a more expensive item/ quantity and receive the smaller one. I went inside after 6 items were listed unavailable as well as their substitutes and found all 6 original items in under 10 minutes.

USUALLY great ... Today I left mad. Today Google asked me for a review??? Oh google...I'm leaving five Stars because usually they are five stars. Today I had a horrible cashier. The more I have bad cashiers the more I just want to check myself out. But the more people check themselves out at the store, The less employees they will need and then more people will need jobs.

It was a nice atmosphere the employees were sort of helpful not really many around the clothing section had open containers of food so that was a not good site but other than that my experience was decent.

I understand it’s the end of the day and people get tired / crabby but it doesn’t justify taking things or projecting them onto clients, she seemed very aggressive and angry from the beginning of our conversation, she got mad at me for something so silly .. for me not knowing they didn’t carry that kind of ham .. she got so angry and started raising her hand making all these funky gestures I didn’t bother or make her repeat her self very uncalled for .. didn’t appreciate this . everyone else was very kind and welcoming tho !!

I like this store. It has a large variety of healthy food options & their freezer game is on point, with a whole section of vegan items. When you are done shopping for groceries, check out the Home section of the store. It offers quality housewares from pots, dishes, sheets, clothing.....to waterhoses. I should have said this first. Every associate is polite and knowledgeable of where products are in the store.

This store is abysmal. It is chronically understocked and there are misleading sales tags everywhere. The employees look abused and the managers are rude and incompetent especially the front end. Shop anywhere else.

The store was clean. Produce looked good. The only thing I personally didn't care for was it was a Saturday afternoon and the store was busy. There was only 2 cashiers. The lines for check out at both registers and self checkout were ridiculous

I will NEVER visit the Highland store again. I used the self checkout, stations are different from my local store. Accidentally put the coupon in the wrong slot - where it would be in my local store, and was put down loudly in front of everyone for not seeing where it belongs.So I save you money by going to YOUR self checkout and am treated badly..... NO THANK YOU.

I love the displays and layout. I didn't have a problem in the store or the parking lot. The prices were reasonable for the time.
