This was my first time here. I really like the selection of items that they have. It is quite large. You can find some pretty interesting and unique items here. They were also having a book sale while I was there. They had quite a lot of those as well. They were arranged by genre, which made it easier to find what you are interested in.

I love the fact that the money goes to support animals. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The problem is that prices have gone way up on many items. Items are priced close to new or more. For example dollar tree items for three dollars. I will continue to support them just not shop there .

Nice staff, good selection of items including a lot of locally made goods. A good amount of pet supplies, and there were a few fish tanks which were honestly prices extremely fairly - I work at a fish store so I know how these things are priced. Not much outside of that for younger people, but older individuals or people looking to support a good cause should really like it here.

I cannot speak highly enough about this place! First of all, I know the money is going to help animals and not stuff the pockets of higher ups like in big-chain resale. So I’m more than happy to donate to them instead of goodwill when I can. Secondly, their stock is actually pretty amazing! I’ve found antiques like beautiful glassware and old books like a civilian guide to nuclear preparation to brand new things like an air filter to my vacuum. And they always have great sales! Wait, don’t let me forget to mention…THEY SELL DELICIOUS CANDY, TOO! :D It’s my favorite place to support in the NWI region! Go there and I bet you’ll find something neat!

I love this place and it is hands down my favorite thrift in the area. Staff are always friendly and they have nice things. I have gotten most of my prizes gems there. The prices are fair and goes to a good cause. The stuff is quality and I don't have to sift through broken or things that should have been trashed. They are very organized and clean and I absolutely recommend going because you never know what you will find.

This used to be a favorite thrift of mine but prices have went up so much I’ve left the last 3 times with nothing in hand. They support a good cause but come on people the stuff is used ! I can find brand new things cheaper at the store.

I got a cute little bitty Mason jar of local honey and a dog odor eliminating spray. Everyone was really welcoming here and great customer service!

Very organized with a wide selection of items. They also have a boutique section up front with locally made items for purchase. Volunteers/staff were very friendly.

Great place to go for little things and some very nice furniture. Support this resale shop or at least come visit to pass along some free advertising to others. They do a great service and extremely nice people. Oh, if have some furniture or other household stuff call ahead to make sure they have room.

Went there on a Thursday 12/2/2021 and saw a table we liked and inquired about the price because it was not listed on the item. An employee went back and asked the manager how much it was (or so she claims) and came back stating they had not priced the item yet. She also said she could take our name and number and call us when the item was priced.We did not receive a call the next day, so we called them. No answer. So we left a message. Saturday (12/4/2021) comes and again, no phone call. So we call yet again and yet again there is no answer. Finally, we decide to drive over there only to be told that the item had been sold. WHAT ?!!?There was NEVER a call, as promised. No call back to tell us the item was sold. We had to DRIVE there only to be told that the item had been sold to someone else. When confronted about it, the employee made EVERY kind of excuse other than what actually happened: THEY dropped the ball. Employee even said “I know you called this morning, but….” But what ? But you call back and say “hey, I’m really sorry but we forgot to call you and sold the item already.” Would not have been fun to hear but would have saved me an extra call AND a trip.The prices are a tad high for the items but I give them the benefit of the doubt since it’s for the animals. You can’t really find a good excuses for poor customer service though. I enjoy a good thrift store but this is not one of them, so I def would not recommend.

I came back to this location after a long hiatus.i was pleasantly surprised by all the fall items and jellies and jams and honey. They have something for everyone in the thrift area. I purchased some items in the av section. Was surprised how many items they had in the music/ movies section!!.

I absolutely love this establishment. Not only do they have versatility they also have beauty and anything you can imagine. The products are of great quality fairly priced and I would definitely recommend stopping in and taking a look. You will not be disappointed. The staff is kind and helpful. This is a great place to find things you don't see in other places. There is a large selection of higher quality glassware as well as locally produced goods. You should definitely check it out!

They have a great selection of merchandise in a wide variety of things. Their prices range from really good prices to really not so good prices. The staff is friendly on the surface. And you can tell it's on the Surface. What more can I say?

Prices on furniture were really high considering it was used but most were in good condition mothers store was clean and the employees friendly and helpful. Had a few nostalgic things in the left/rear of the store. +1 star for the grumpy cat with the warning on the chair when you walk in. Plus they let you have pets, and it's clean. Crazy.

They are trying to do good things for the shelter animals, (God bless them!) but they need to lower their prices if they want to sell anything used. Better to get something for donated items than nothing at all. I've donated to and visited the store a couple of times but never bought anything because the prices were to high. I'd rather just donate to the shelter itself.

Great place to find "treasures" at very affordable prices. Almost all of the furniture, glassware, China, pictures, beddings, knickknacks, etc. (no clothes) are in excellent condition and used to be expensive donations. If you have been there once, you will come again. The volunteer staff is very helpful and friendly; and it's good to know that the proceeds help the animals!

A great shop with great stuff for a great cause (Humane Society Calumet Area). The crew is mostly volunteers, so they are occasionally understaffed, but everyone is dedicated to the cause. The grumpy shop cat is fluffy and adorable. (Yes, she does test the furniture, but if you have serious allergies, I doubt you'd be buying second-hand furniture anyway.) You can bring your pet shopping with you and they even have seasonal events with pet photos. Everything in there is donated by a very generous community and some amazing and rare pieces show up every so often. Fantastic prices even compared to other local thrift shops. Furniture, books, movies and music, art, decor, household items, small appliances and electronics, jewelry, toys, sports equipment, china sets, linens, hardware and tools, lamps, seasonal items. If you love secondhand shops, this is a must-visit.

I like the fact that they have mostly great stuff and no junk. Where else can you get an Ethan Allen furniture set in excellent condition (original price maybe $3500) for just $350! Volunteer personnel is very friendly and helpful.Buying there helps the animals.

Never know what you'll find. Brand new bread maker, $5.00, real tiffany lamp shade, $15.00. I always buy stuffed animals for my dogs' toys, and proceeds benefit humane society.
