I took my mother in law there after an appt. in Louisville. She wanted to go to check on their meat prices and to get flour. They no longer carried that brand of flour and also, the meat wasn't worth getting. The store smelled of rotten meat for one thing. Linda (mom in law) picked up some potato salad to purchase as I talked her away from the meat. She couldn't find a price on almost anything she looked at and this particular container of potato salad had about a 1/2 in of water in it. It was outdated by 8 days. Needless to say we won't be back there. I'm not really sure as to the problem at the store if it be shortage of help or an owner who simply doesn't care. End of story we left w/ a loaf of bread and a snack cake.

Little Town grocer whom this area loves. Especially when they have their wonderful meat sale. Great time to stock up on buys! Can't miss the store. Located down by the tracks.🌹

This store is great. When they have their big 3 day meat sales, it is well worth the drive. Can't beat their prices and staff is very friendly. Would highly recommend anyone to follow their Facebook page.

Older IGA good prices on bacon. I buy 10lb boxes, separate and freeze for later. Today bacon was $2.60 lb price varies up and down.

Went in here for the first time because I saw some signs for their huge meat sale. There was a smell outside the store, but when you walked in, it smacked you right in the face! It smelled like a mixture of rotten milk, cat pee, rancid meat, and rat poop. I don't care how cheap the meat is, no way I'm buying from a place like that.

IGA has fantastic meat sales. I got 16 1/4 lb beef patties very thick for $16.00. What a deal! Fresh local honey, too. Great for my allergies. Watch for their meat sales! There were many people there when my friends and I went. They also Amish jams and jellies. 3 day sales

Went to the quarterly meat sale. They have nearly everything you would want. And the prices were much cheaper per overall pound. The meats are packaged in bulk packaging quantities.

How has the health department not closed this place down???? Not clean. Thin layer of dust on many of the items.mark down items in cart over a year past best by date. Yes a Year past. Meat sale might be a good deal but would not risk it. Would not recommend 🚫🚫

This place is disgusting! 🤢 I went in to grab some produce because I had heard so many positive things about their meat sales. As soon as I walked in, there was a smell I couldn't identify, but I was just there to grab some oranges, so ok. I saw about 20 bananas, and 2 bags of potatoes. Being I had never been there, I kept looking, thinking maybe their produce was around the next corner... I got to the meat cases where they had some sort of sausage, but it wasn't labeled as far as venison, pork, but I knew it didn't look like anything I had ever seen. It had an odd gray color. PASS! I did purchase something, though. A can of Manwich. Safe purchase, but I will never go there again. I got in the car and told my husband how it was, and said it definitely deterred me from wanting to try anything from their "meat sale."

We went there for the meat sale ...it was great ... people there were kind curious helpful and I am talking customer as well as staff. I have never been to that kind of sale that no one was acting like a spoiled kid no shoving .. no swearing.. It was a very enjoyable trip. .... reminded me of good old days....Lord willing we will be back!! Thank you for a great shopping trip!

It's a very old building so it has a very bad smell. .but the meat is iffy..coolers aren't kept cool enough to be safe .. food is expired. .won't shop there...I added more stars and updated my review the bad smell is gone for the most part and the coolers where the meat was kept are actually cold now instead of the way they were before... I will actually shop this store now they have good deals and I'm going to give it another try

Can't beat their chicken! Their meat selections are good too. Unknown to some, the back room is full of hardware items. You just have to ask. Many of those items were cheaper than the big box stores miles away.

The place is excellent. It’s a nice country store been there over 70 years. The meat sales are great. Milk is .99 cents a gallon. Dave is doing his best the keep his family business alive. I live nearby, but It’s worth driving over an hour for easily. To the negative post it has to be the competition or friends of his ex-wife who is trying to destroy his reputation.Try out the IGA and you won’t be sorry.

90 10 burger was not 90 10! 2/3 cups grease from 1.5 pounds fried up. Chicken soaked in juice dripping all over the place.

Arby’s has nothing on Adams IGA! They’ve got the meats! What a great store with such friendly people!Oh, and the candy! They’ve got the best variety of candy and it’s so fresh.

It's very expensive 😣 and the smell will make you want to throw up. The health board really needs to get in there and see what's going on. It smells like rotting meat and fish. I have been there a couple times and it smells like that every time. My cats litter box smells better than that place. People are nice but they shouldn't have to work in those kinds of conditions. It's nasty.
