There are some services that you will go to the ends of the earth to find what you need: The hairstylist who will talk you out of bangs, the breakfast place with the best bacon, or the coffee shop that knows your order as soon as you walk in. Most importantly, you search for the home away from home for your dog that you can trust. Stoney Run Canine Camp has been that place for us.When we got our dog Yogi, we knew we needed support with his big puppy energy. We went to other places before finding Stoney Run. Some where fine, but we were often left with questions about his day, behavior, or why we needed a second mortgage for him to spend one day with some friends. Once we found Stoney Run, we never looked back! We have done multiple classes, day school, boarding, grooming, are now love our day-care routine. They are supportive, economical, trustworthy, and some of our dog's closest friends!The classes and day school were provided by trained professionals that answered our questions, gave us great tools and strategies, and 100% loved our dog.The grooming has been convenient and such a relief for us! Yogi's a big guy at 120 lbs, and requires a lot of grooming. We know he's not the easiest to manipulate, yet the staff make it look easy, always do an amazing job, and he's happy to see them! When we made plans for a longer vacation and realized we needed help with Yogi while we were gone, there was no one else we'd rather have care for him then his Stoney Run family. They sent us updates, pictures, and took great care of him!He now goes to day-care twice a week. This is where my ONLY complaint is: When we drop him off, it definitely feels like he sometimes loves the Stoney Run crew more than us! He runs in to see his friends (2 and 4 legged), and always comes home exhausted from all the fun. The ongoing pictures and stories shared my the staff during his day-care days always put a smile on my face!I can't thank the people here enough for all their hard work!

I can’t say enough about how amazing Stoney Run truly is! Clark has been coming to Stoney Run for the past year and a half and I wouldn’t change it for the world. We have done day school, day care, classes and grooming. All the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your dog is loved and cared for… especially the day care staff. Clark sure loves you all! Stoney Run Canine Camp gives me the peace of mind when I work long hours. My dog is treated like one of their own. From day care, day school, and their classes they have helped me and given me the knowledge to take home to reinforce good behavior. Their grooming services are bar none and reasonably priced. They are truly a one stop shop filled with love for your dog! Truly a hidden gem. Couldn’t imagine having my girl go anywhere else!

This is a place to go if you want your dog to be happy. My dog comes home happy and tired. They keep her active with nap times and she's happy when she comes home. We feel blessed to have moved within a few miles of Stoney Run when relocating to Indiana 6 mos. ago and LOVE this amazing place! It has everything you could possibly need for your fur babies, including boarding, day school, grooming, obedience classes, sporting activities…and we pretty much have utilized it all. The staff is attentive, friendly, and overall awesome. Highly~highly~highly recommend!!

I am very disappointed that the main trainer was more focused on her approach than my valid concerns for safely getting a very new to me rescue to and from camp.They also did not feed my dogs the food I sent on two of the 3 days there! Sent half the food home on one day, sent all of one of the dog's labeled food home on another. Did they split the other dogs food between them? Not feed one at all?I rescued a 90# one year old puppy that is reactive and already displayed a high prey drive sending both our cat and me to the ER. I use a humane pronged collar to manage him. I also have a 100# 20 month old, also use a pronged collar and he then requires two fingers to control.I was told no pronged collars on the property and that eventually they will be successful with thier freedom harness. When I expressed concern, they told me to be patient. Three camp days pick up was a disaster, dogs out of control, out of control in the car, and almost slipping out of the collar while leaving the training building trying to get to the car. Day three pick up, I watched the Trainer be dragged across the training center unable to control the dog. It was absolutely mayhem, no one in control.They did not care that I said I was afraid if there was any scenario, another dog, small animal etc. I couldn't control him, they basically said have an open mind he will get it.This is probably a great place if the dog is well behaved, however, if you need help with a dog that has some behavioral issues, this is probably not the place.

We love SRCC! Our two rescue dogs go to Day School and Day Care regularly. We also board them as needed. Everyone at SRCC goes above and beyond to take care of our dogs and provide us information to help us! Our dogs love going there and we love seeing them happy and tired out! And it’s a happy surprise every time we get a photo of them! Thanks so much for all you do!!

As part of our adoption agreement for our cattle dog mix, Reggie, we had to complete puppy training. At first, this was annoying since we've always trained our dogs, but after learning about Stoney Run and the AKC puppy class, our options changed. Fast forward 7 weeks, and we are so thankful and grateful for the knowledge and tools they gave me, my wife, and 13 year old daughter. Reggie is such a wonderful addition to our family and is very responsive to training time. Even in day-to-day interactions, I find myself applying the tools we learned in class. I now believe everyone should take the time and do this with their dogs. It's worth it. Thanks for everything, Gina!

I am thrilled with Stony Run Canine Camp. They employ excellent people, who genuinely care about the animals. I am retired and my husband and I fell in love with a big goofy dog who is a St Bernard/bloodhound mix. Our dog had been abused and people would adopt him and then bring him back because of his size and his playfulness. My husband and I needed to find a place to board him, and to help us train our big boy. We found Stony Run Canine Camp and couldn’t be happier. We are only three weeks into our training, and we have noticed a significant improvement. I am now able to start walking him again, because of his excellent trainer, Jodi. I was skeptical that I would be able to walk him again, because of his strength. We are excited to continue his training after we complete his terrible teens class. They offer so many classes, that their is something for everyone. We boarded our dog when we went on vacation and have used the doggie daycare when my husband has long days of doctor’s appointments and medical treatments. Our dog is happy to go to daycare, and we are happy with the care that they offer. This is a fantastic place to trust with our most loving and loyal family members.

I drive an hour and 15 minutes one way twice a week to bring my dog here. Are there facilities closer to me? Yes. Have I been to them? Yes. Stoney Run is in a league of its own. They provide a multitude of trainings and sports…daycare…dayschool…enrichment…boarding…and grooming. If they had a vet on campus…I’d probably bring Maisy there too! It is clear this place cares about dogs and their people. AND their people…that is often hard to find.For reference: Maisy has participated in dock diving, dayschool, grooming, day camp, boarding, and my favorite (because I get to have fun, too)…agility. Trainers are amazing and clearly love their jobs. Office staff is phenomenal….I can’t say that enough! Maisy, who used to need a day to recover from grooming, is all smiles after her groom. I’ve seen pictures of my dog flourish before my eyes at day camp/boarding.What more can I say? We love this place!

SRCC is a fabulous place for your dog. Daycare, Day School, Classes, Boarding, Grooming (and more) - it is a powerhouse of amenities and where they truly honor the motto - "Where it's all about the dog."Our 1.5 year old dog has been excited about coming here since her first day. She's greeted with love, and she doesn't want to leave, when it's time to go home.As "dog parents" we know our kid is doing great because of the help and care of the staff at the Camp!

We've been sending our girl to Stoney Run since she was a little puppy. She does day school weekly and has completed the puppy star courses and intermediate obedience . It is an absolutely amazing place . Kim asked me in the beginning what my overall goal was for our pup with training and she's put us on the path to get there . Everyone there is helpful and inviting. They love our girl as much as we do and I feel so comfortable leaving her in their care . I honestly can't put into words what a great facility this is. We are definitely life long customers .💗

The people are amazing at Stoney Run kennels. They have done an incredible job taking care of our lab while we are out of town. We have used Stoney Run for boarding, training and day care. They identified his love for nose work, which keeps his high energy in check and makes him feel like he has a job. Lots of love given to him. Every time we pull into the drive way of Stoney Run Canine Camp our boys wag with excitement. They (my dogs) are super impatient in the lobby when we are checking them in for boarding and they don’t even look back to say “bye” when they’re led back to their room. It’s safe to say they absolutely love it there, and we do too! The facility is clean and all staff are very friendly and happy to be there. They’re easy to get ahold of and respond promptly if they happen to be busy when we reach out. The schedule that the dogs are on at Stoney Run aligns perfectly with our schedule at home, so I’m sure that’s appreciated by the boys. They post plenty of cute pictures of the campers on Facebook. We’re very grateful to have found a place with such awesome people that clearly care about our dogs as much as we do and go above and beyond!

Stoney Run is hands down the best "doggy daycare" around. Every worker is professional and are avid dog lovers. My dog loves this place and has learned to interact with other pets. He has made so many friends, both human and animal, that I consider Stoney Run a home away from home for my dog!!

We love Stoney Run! Our dog Donut goes to day school every Wednesday, and he is always so excited to get there and leaves tired. He's gone weekly since November, and I definitely see a difference in how he behaves. All the trainers are excellent with him.

Edit to respond to owner:I believe I have received “the typical customer service” as I have been trying to get ahold of your business for over a year and have continuously got the same thing. We were standing a good 10 feet from the other couple, and did try multiple times to get your attention but we were not given the time of day. Not once were we acknowledge or even asked if we were all together. I do not feel it’s my responsibility as a customer to interrupt a conversation to receive help. As far as the paperwork goes, it’s the business’s responsibility to add new class members to the roster. The 3% office fee was not mentioned until AFTER it was processed. This is something that should be mentioned before. Mistakes happen, and I understand this. We are human, and it’s unavoidable but I do not appreciate feeling blamed for not being acknowledged. A simple call or email would elevate the frustrations I have felt with this experience, but instead all I got was a reply that feels very much like trying to brush it under the rug.I've never received this poor of customer service.Last year I called weekly if not daily for 3 months to get my dog into behavior classes. I never heard back from this place.After getting glowing reviews from a friend I decided to try again. I called and didn't hear back (shocker), so I texted them. The response was prompt and they got me into the terrible teens class that was booked full on the website. I was very thankful. I got a text yesterday as a reminder that I had the first class today.After showing up this morning I pulled in the parking lot and found another couple just as confused as I was. There was no direction on where to go and no one on site to help. I went into the camp office for help. I was told to knock on the barn door and I would be let in.After standing in front of the door for a couple minutes a lady pulled up on a golf cart to inform us that the trainer had an emergency with her dog (totally understandable) and that we should have got a message yesterday that the class was rescheduled for next Sunday. No biggie, I get it.The woman on the golf cart then proceed to ask the other couple their dogs' name to make sure that they would get any messages about the upcoming classes. Never once was I acknowledged or asked my dog's name to be added to the same list.I stood there for about 5 minutes while this woman talked to the other couple and only glanced my direction. I ended up getting in my car and leaving because I was not getting the help I needed.I called on my way back home to cancel my training here. I do not want to do business was a company that can not properly communicate with the clients. The girl on the phone was very kind and understanding, but after processing the refund I was informed there was a 3% charge for issuing a refund.So not only was I not treated with basic understanding here, I lost money to this company.I would think twice before calling this place. The training and care of the dogs may be top tier (I'll never know) but the communication between staff and clients make this place not worth visting.

I took my dog to 3 weeks (6 days) of day school and was overall pleased with the training. However, I wanted (needed) to continue training and was interested in signing up for classes but the trainer never called me back as she said she was going to do after reviewing all of my dogs notes. I attempted multiple times to contact them via text, calls and online with no response! I guess they don’t want my business and I find it extremely rude. For that reason, I would not recommended using Stoney Run Canine Camp.

We’ve taken our three dogs to Stoney Run Canine Camp for a few years now. It started with boarding then grooming. When we got our puppy, we signed her up for training & day school. As we tried out each service we only fell in love with Stoney Run more. They’re kind, passionate & truly care about your pet’s well being & comfort. Sometimes I wonder if our dogs even miss us when we’re gone!
