Everything in the store is extremely overpriced, literally not even one minute away there is a dollar general that has cheaper prices across the board. Also today, March 27th, 2024 I bought a box of popcorn which has been expired since August 2022!! How does that even happen?

Love the Pride market.. like the ole fashioned country stores of the past... And perfect name.. they take pride in all they offer to the public .. the ground beef is the best I've ever had and I have lived in LA, Louisville, Alabama and Lexington... They serve wonderful tasty lunches also. I recommend it to anyone. They also have sales better than Walmart etc .. I got little Debbie cakes for a $1 a box today. I wish they would carry some Morning Star brand of vege meats and Old Folks smoked country sausage. I give them 10+ **********s

I've recently started going to Pride IGA to pick up some groceries. They have good meat. Some items are more expensive but it's worth a little more because it's convenient & I don't have to walk all over an enormous store like Walmart. I highly recommend trying out Pride' IGA.s

It's a small town store with big city prices. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I go there only for individual things I forget. I could not afford to actually grocery shop there. Times are hard these days and their prices don't make things even easier.

My own personal experience yes a family ran business ran by a spineless young boy who doesnt pickup his messes named kevin who likes to belittle underappreciated , overworked female employees (3 years of this i might add) through name calling that ironically enough he wouldn't nor did he ever say in front of me, you see I could call his wife a b1tch but i wont stoop to his level that's not how I was raised so I left this fact filled 100% honest review instead! Oh and absolutely prices are too high and yes I've spent thousands here and personally gotten moldy cheese in a sealed bag as well as other expired things, but I promise you it won't happen again😃

I do not normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to this time. I went to Pride to get a sandwich from the Deli, the lady that was working back there was a manager (Brittany) and she was completely and utterly rude, from the time I walked back there to the time I got my sandwich weighed. If the owner was there, I would have talked to him. I am a former manager of 3 years of restaurant work, and a current shift lead in factory and if I caught anyone on my crew talking to a customer the way this woman talked to me today, I would have walked them to the door.

Prices are high, but acceptable if you're only wanting to pick up a couple things without driving to the bigger grocery stores in town. The place is pretty clean and the cashiers are usually friendly. If give it 4 or 5 stars if the prices weren't so high on some things.

This is a quintessential small town market. This is locally owned and operated and though they may be a bit higher price wise on products they are friendly and always have what i need. They are my go to for meats due to the quality I find there. If you live in the area, support this place!

Hanover Pride is a small town store. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Prices a little higher than the big stores but the meat and produce is fresh. I will definitely shop there again.

Pride fits between a supermarket and a convenience store. It has a small produce section and a decent selection of meats as well as a small deli. While their prices are higher than the larger grocery stores down the road in Madison, I often choose to go to Pride when my list is short. I seldom have to wait to check out, or if there is a line it normally is only 2 people.

I love that this is a close place to shop but the hours on the website and the store say 10 pm! I went there at exactly 9 pm on a friday night and they were already closed so i knocked on the door for a few minutes before someone poked their head around the corner and he said we close at 9 and when i asked why then does the website and this sign right here say 10 pm he just shrugged his shoulders and put his ear buds back in and walked away! Very upset about this!

Overall the service was fast and it was easy to find things. Everything was organized and it was just a great experience overall. The food was fresh so I recommend going here to shop.

Great little store in town. Cashiers and workers all greet you. All the food is fresh and even has a small food sectional for animals in the back to take home to your cat or dog.

It wasn't busy, but it was almost closing time. It was clean, the cashier was very friendly, even though I interrupted his cleaning. The milk was a little high at $4.79, but cheaper than driving all the way to Kroger.

Friendly family owned business open weekends and holidays. They carry some hard to get items such as Pennsylvania Dutch Bott Boi noodles and Vernor’s ginger ale.

A small grocery with fresh cut meats. On the pricey side as most small grocery stores in a small town have to be to cover overhead and stay open. They had very nice produce also and the store was neat and clean.

Before you buy anything check the expiration date. Don't go home with expired things they leave on the shelves. This is ongoing problem at this place, and therefore likely isn't going to be rectified. Be careful.
