The staff is always friendly. We have never sold there, so I can't speak to that. However, they are well stocked in not just books but in other items; video games, board games, Funkos, journals, etc. My only complaint is that the discounted prices aren't always worth the trip or the purchase for a used item.

One of the best place to buy and sell books in greenwood, IN. Very friendly staff. They ll give you offer ( For sell) and if you are not okie or Agreed you can always walk out with your books. Wide variety of selection of books, cardboard games and other reading gadgets. Wheelchair accessible. And hours are pretty good as well. You can wait or you can walk out while your offer is being prepared.

Sometimes the sales staff are great sometimes they prefer to deal with specific clients and will turn their attention away from you. They can be fickle. They used to give good trade value but that seems to have gone out the window too. Selection can be good at times, which is to be expected with the type of store they are but I like this site better before they put in some of the newer staff members. Also.... what's with no bags? I bought 12 books and 19 CDs and was told I either had to buy a bag (which they were out of) or carry everything in my arms.

It's not as nice as other locations. Prices seem higher than other half-price book stores. The company as a whole has really taken their prices up considerably. This location has a book they're selling for $50 that is only part of the book. You can buy the whole book brand new for $70, and it won't have people's handwriting all throughout it. The prices are a hang-up for me. The price is why people go there in the first place. I can deal with the employees not acknowledging your presence but to charge almost full price for half the book is a little too much.

Dont sell your books to them. Turned in over 50 mint condition books today and recieved $12.86. They have increased their selling price and drastically cut their buying offers. I wish everyone would just donate to their libraries and put them out of business. Just sad.

Half Price Books has a little something for every reader in the family. I've purchased a variety here, manga & comics, mystery, scifi, classics, new and pre owned. I always love it when I find the old 60s editions of Agatha Christie.

The neighborhood used bookstore. I always find the best deals here! They carry used videogames and videogame consoles too! There are DVDs, CDs, comics, and much more! You can even sell them your old books!

A nice shop with good product presentation. There are used books for sale, but most are new or like new condition. They have other non-book items for sale as well such as vinyl, cds, dvds, board games, comic books, video games etc. Not everything is exactly half price, some are even lower, so that is nice. The staff does a good job of keeping everything orderly.

I love coming in here to see what Tolkien books I can find, but this time wasn't great. Asked for help looking for The Wizard of Oz and it's many other novels, and received less than a good direction to start in. Walked all over and decided to just buy on Amazon.

I find something every time I go to half price books. My only complaints are they have high prices on stuff that I can get somewhere else for a cheaper price. Some video games are way overpriced considering how old they are and I keep seeing the same video games there every time I go there most likely because of the crazy prices that they have on those video games. And also they don't give you a bag to put your purchases in. I don't understand why they thought that was a good idea especially if you purchase a lot of stuff why not give you a bag to put your stuff you bought in. Never ever try to sell anything to them as they will low ball you an offer that is horrible. I once took 30 Sports illustrated magazines in there and was offered only a dollar for all 30 magazines. You are better off selling your stuff on online.

I went everywhere to get one of a book, but couldn’t get it because it was too pricey. I went here and I ended up walking out with more than 5books for less than $30. The environment is great and the books are very organized. I love lovee lovee it!

Good store, but they really need to clean their bathroom properly. See my pictures. There's no reason their sink should have that much build up and it looks like their floor hasn't been mopped in years.
