This is a great place to get meat, and I love their ring bologna and they have some of the best sandwiche spread I have ever found, it is well worth the trip to Greentown to check them out.

Other than the 1 lady at the meat counter...I love going here to get my groceries easy and convenient however the 1 incident made me never want to go back! I asked for some steaks that were on sale, lady told a young kid who was waiting on me that they weren't cutting steaks on a Sunday afternoon. I went up and spoke to manager who said he would get me the steaks I want. As we were walking back to the meat counter lady was standing there rudely discussing what had just taken place in front of other customers?!

I have given this store five stars due to the fine meat department. If you have not tried their own ham sliced for sandwiches, you are missing a treat. Though some things are priced high, if you hit the sales, you can do really well. I look for their ad every week on Tuesday morning to plan my meat purchases and see what groceries I need that might be on special. Their deli counter and meat, from freshly ground burger and on is full of good stuff. Cheeses are very high quality. I always get a helping hand out with the load. The service is great and the people are very friendly. And the sales are a real plus. I do a lot of my shopping there because I always feel good about what I have bought and the price I paid.

This is a great place to shop. The meat is all fresh, high quality and weighed in front of you. As much or as little as you need. The prices for the meat are comparable and usually lower than getting prepackaged at one of the chain stores. The staff members are friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this market.

Food is always expired or moldy. Especially the strawberries. Management doesn't care and won't throw anything bad away they still just sell it. Freezers are always off so frozen items are thawed out and pizzas are doughy. Ice cream is sticky and has been melted and refrozenThe lady at the meat counter is just awful. She talks badly about everybody there (employees and customers) and is always on her phone. Also likes to argue when you try to return spoiled chicken, she says that it was cheap and I shouldnt expect it to be fresh. The gentlemen in at the meat counter are great, always willing to swap out chicken that has gone bad for new items.The pregnant manager is very kind, she is always cleaning off the carts and lysol the door handles, which is very important in a grocery store. There is also a younger gentleman with glasses who is always ready to help. and never in a bad mood.I sure hope someone shuts this place down soon. It is sad that they can get away with selling spoiled food, treating customers like they are a burden, and washing dishes on the concrete floor in the back.I will not be coming back until someone new takes over!

Nice to have a local grocery to visit. Bought some fresh pork. It was delicious! The road construction makes it a challenge to get there; but it is worth the trip.

Very disappointed to have purchased 8 lbs. of "fresh" chicken breast that was spoiled. When I called the meat department they were very hesitant, stating "1 of 5 chicken breast have salmonella" and didn't seem concerned at all, even commenting "they are only 99 cents a pound and I have no way of knowing how many were actually bad." UGH!! I was so astounded, I just said forget it and hung up. SUPER disappointed in a hometown, local market that I have supported for many years.

The cashier was a very nice young man who helped me take a cart of groceries to the car. It was a big help with your double doors. It is much appreciated. It's good to see promising young workers out there.

There’s nothing like a market with a hometown feel and neighborly staff. I’d drive for miles for a place like this. This store’s selection is surprisingly good for a tiny town. Really nice deli/meat department. Friendly vibe. It’s got “heart” in its name, and that’s what shopping here feels like.

Since we moved here from Kokomo, we checked out the store to see what all they carry and the prices. Their meat department has amazing prices on whole New York strip steak. The service is friendly and they also have an atm machine that takes our solidarity debit card.

The grocery store is clean but their staff is not real knowledgeable. I went in there and I asked the young employee for some braunschweiger and he didn’t know what it was. I explained it to him and he said there is no such thing so then he got on his cell phone and googled it. They also don’t do a very good job checking out dates I found a package of kielbasa and the sell by date was February and this is May. I only go there if I absolutely have to.

Excellent meat and prices. Come from wabash to shop at this market. Love Rib Eye steaks. They have the best meat around . Have never gotten any bad meat from there. Taste great.

Place is nasty so much mold and the freezers are down so they are selling warm food. Place is so nasty smells so nasty and the employees are trash. I hate them I used to go because if I needed something small never mind ill starve before I shop here again!!!

The employees at Heartland are very friendly and the employees in the meat department wrap the meat how ever you need it packaged. Heartland's meats are very good. (I stopped buying it from the big chain stores!)

Sewage is always backed up and makes the place stink and frozen foods are always thawed due to freezer failure, cashier said owners know and just don't care, Greentown should be ashamed to have you in it
