This TA needs to be remodelled and definitely fuel lines to be reorganised! No much food available, restaurant was closed at 8pm, not sure when did it close. Shower was one of the worst I ever had, to small and no much room to put your bag around. It was so cold and addition to that was fan on the ceiling it make so loud noise like a helicopter. Also it wasn’t clean, zero star for that! Frustrating! Hit like and follow me for more great reviews! Be safe everyone and stay healthy ☮️

This has to be the worst Petro in North Anerica. Restaurant closes too early and doesn't open until 8am. 60% of the parking is pay to park. They obviously don't care about the truckers needs. Let's go Petro. Get that restaurant open 24 hours again with 2 servers on duty. NO MORE EXCUSES. And bring your outdated facilities up to date.

This use to be a great place to eat years ago. But not anymore. I stopped to eat. Waitress was nice. She gave me a brand new menu. Big portions in the photos so I ordered corn beef and hash breakfast with 2 extra eggs 🥚. When it arrived I was shocked. I told them that it looked like something you would put on a 3yr old baby's height chair. I mean 4 bites. And it was gone. Maybe a table spoon 🥄 of corn beef. And the smallest eggs I've ever seen. I think they were Qual eggs. 2 bites of cold hashbrowns. It was pathetic and the poor young Waitress was literally embarrassed by it. She apologized to me. But I told her. Ohh no. No. It's not your fault. I left her a good tip. And paid 25$ for the little cold snack. But. The iced tea was really good. When I mentioned it to the Waitress. She smiled and said that she made the iced tea.

The restaurant crew is on the ball! I hadn't had a hot meal in 30 hrs! I ordered chicken fried steak, eggs and hash browns, gravy on the side with rye toast.PERFECT MEAL, THANK YOU!Fuel Island crew is friendly and helpful, overall a great stop.

I am a female trucker and around 1.5mos ago, I injured my leg getting into a brand new bobtail I picked up from the manufacturer to deliver to Illinois. I drove with much pain until the truck was out of fuel ( the company would not release funds to fuel...for whatever the reason). I ended up finally finding PETRO in Greenburg, IN. I got there 7ish a.m. and found no place to park. I ended up taking up about four parking spaces next to the statues where cars fuel. I called the store and explained I was out of fuel; injured and unable to get off of the truck; and found no place to park. That is when I encountered the goodness of the staff there. I was brought provisions to the truck since I could not walk. Not only that, I was offered food, drink, and other provisions...even medical help. I was on that property in that condition over 24hrs and the General Manager, Mr. Gary always made sure that I was alright AND checked if I was in need of anything. Plus, when funds for fuel were released, Mr. Gary made sure the fuel was pumped for me. This was the BEST, over -the-top customer service I have experienced and felt it my duty to say so. Bathrooms haven't been touched in 9 hours. Parking for lots of trucks and very small bathrooms that are filthy. Don't come hungry unless you are a local. Bankers hours at restaurant... just read some other reviews and read the owner justifying joining in on the crowd of people that think they are entitled to part of truck drivers income talking about the paid parking. Dear sir .. if you had a clean establishment with a few amenities for drivers .. and a restaurant that was open reasonable hours. You might be able to afford your facility. After reading your comments I will never spend another dime at your establishment.If you can't hack it. Close her up and bulldoze it and let a decent place have the real estateI don't think you've quite figured out how this review stuff worksI only wish I had time to take a bunch of pictures of your disgusting bathrooms

Just stopped in to use the restroom and get a quick meal. Bathrooms only have two stalls, but were very clean. The Iron Skillet was not busy at 5 pm and we got great service.

Giving this establishment five stars solely on their restrooms. They have the cleanest truck stop restrooms I’ve ever been in, in my whole entire life. They were spotless, smelled clean and were a welcome change from the norm! Great job staff, keep up the good work, us travelers appreciate you!

Only posting one star because they force me to post something.Restaurant doesn't open till mid morning or whenever they feel like it I guess. Currently 6:45am January 31st and all the lights are shut off and no one is there. Restaurant should have been open at atleast 5:30am, no later. Congrats, you lost a $20 sale to someone else because your staff is lazy and won't open on time.Couldn't use the bathroom because there is only two stalls for a 100 truck parking lot and there was a 5 people line.Maybe we'll get lucky and they will build another Casey's down here and put y'all out of business.I used to like Petro but they have gone down hill so much in there last couple years that the best thing they can do is just level the store and restaurant and add more truck parking...

Took a chance on spaghetti and meatballs again after a disgusting experience at Petro in Glendale, KY. Good decision. The meatballs here are nothing like the hard sponge balls I had yesterday. Delicious.

Great place to stop. Found good place to eat at during covid. We've had excellent breakfast and great lunch ,here at Newport Petro Travel Center. All the staff are like friends and provide great service. We visit often . Highly recommend.

There's about 90 spots and 51 of them are reserved. $30-$35 for a meal, drink and decent tip. And drop $20 for parking?!?! 😂😂😂😂 ummm no thanks. And really I won't go in and eat unless I have an earned ultracredit available. Even then you still come out of pocket $15-$20.

The restaurant closes way to early. Do they know the Covid pandemic is over? It's time restaurants should stay open 24 hours again. Also 80% of the parking is pay to park!!!!! It's a greedy truckstop!!!

It's easy to get into the parking spaces, but why so many reserved spots? The showers are pretty good. The shower rooms have a hair dryer, an extra towel along with a hand towel, a mini bar of soap, a plastic cup and even a mint. Only thing I didn't like was I was unable to adjust the angle of the shower head. For the Iron Skillet, the food was great, fresh cooked and hot. The service though sucked. It took awhile just for my order to be taken, my water was never refilled, even after the waitress said she'll bring me more, and the waitress never asked if I wanted anything else and just brought me the check. I did want dessert, but didn't want to wait any longer, it then took awhile to come and take my card to pay. I'll she if the Iron Skillet can redeem themselves in the morning for breakfast. At this point, I probably won't come back here unless it's just to pop in for a shower and move on.

The parking says all I need to know about this truck stop. Based on looking at previous reviews, it sure is great to see that they haven’t changed, does that mean they don’t care? 70/30 more paid parking than not is my assumption. Maybe 60/40 , it’s an illusion when you’re on I74 & see open spots all over then drive in to find out they’re all paid for. Not cool. Then you can go inside and over pay for just about everything… I found what I think was the last free spot at least..

The restaurant closes at 5pm so it’s mostly worthless. 90% of the spaces are $18. Most of the spaces are blind side and with the odd shaped lot there’s nothing to orient on and most of them are REALLY tight.. No beer but that’s Indianas fault.
