i have waited almost 2 years to update this review because i wanted to make sure i didnt use anger when i did it. my doggo was sick , bad sick. wife called , been going here for years, were told they were "too busy" couldnt see her today, watch her and if she gets worse drive her to dayton, DAYTON, i aint lost a dam thing in dayton, my vet is in greensfork, my doggo is in bad bad shape, we were livid, we called TLC 10 minutes later we were in their office, informed she never would have survived the trip, we barely got her there in time. several years, several doggos and cats, not just ours but our familys have been going to greensfork because it was, WAS, the best of the best. they are no longer that greensfork. you van read my other reviews, i am pretty easy goin, give credit where credit is due, and give people benefit of doubt, not when it comes to my doggo. i dont like writing books but i needed to get point accrossed. hopefully someone at greensfork gets a grip and gets things back to the way they used to be.

I found HFAH and all their personnel to be professional, friendly, competent, and caring. I had an appointment for Sat, but when my big dog Ronin developed a sore near his tail they worked both he and Kitty in and got him fixed up. He has a shaved back side now and was not a happy camper last night, but at least it will have a chance to heal! Thank you all so much!! Sep 2022 Great as always today! Thor will be happy here in sure!

I’m confident we have chosen the correct place to take care of our baby. Plus, to think about, they board pets. So if an emergency or you need to take a planned or unplanned trip or there is a pandemic and you need support for your pet you can count on a safe facility for your beloved one

Horrible place. Save your money and go someplace else. Had an appointment scheduled for two months with greensfork. No emails confirming it, when I called they confirmed the date. Then they emailed me saying to confirm the appointment, which they had suddenly changed the date up two days. I called and tried to see if anything could be done to get my cat in, they said it was my fault the date wasn’t right for the appointment and they couldn’t do anything without ANOTHER 65$ deposit. Save yourself the heartache and take your animals to another vet that’s a decent person.

Very cost friendly! They are here for your pets. Judgment free. My boyfriend was able to drop our Kitty Bruce off for his neuter and got to hear how much of a wonderful kitty he was. They even went the extra mile to give him a kitty trim due to lack of grooming himself. Thank y’all so much for taking care of him. ❤️

Not very happy with how they treated me or my cat here. They acted like he was dirty because I am not certain of his last vaccination date. Looked at blood tests from over a month ago from another vet and offered nothing. Then charged me $57.25 for no answers. They did great with my cat's spay in the past so I expected better. Maybe this is too much to ask, but my family and I have taken in every animal ever dumped on us or that my dad found and we would expect to be shown compassion in return for our kindness. Course I will admit my dad speaking with the vet tech probably didn't help and the fact I was really hopeful for answers didn't help either but a little more kindness and attentiveness would have been nice. Today I took him back to my regular vet and he is showing improvement of symptoms. Blood tests look better too. So for $57 I think it rather unnecessary to frighten me and add to my worries. We go to professionals for help, not judgment.

Dr. Osborn is incredibly knowledgeable! She gives great care to our two dogs. One of my dogs tends to be reactive and she’s always been so wonderful with him, sits on the floor and feeds him treats until he’s comfortable. Honestly, I wish I’d gone to this vet sooner. Would highly, highly recommend!

Took the mother of my little Chihuahuas to have fixed. 100% satisfied with Greens Fork Animal Hospital the people are caring gentle and pay attention to every detail I could not be happier for making this choice. They even called me to let me know that she had a tooth that needed to be removed so they don't just look the dog over and call it a day they actually took the time to pay attention to her every need.

This is a nice place to take your Fur babies. In the Richmond/Wayne County area, this place is going to be one of the Best & cheapest options to have a cat fixed. The staff is always friendly & they care about your pets. They also offer training for dogs! Check them out friends!

Our Kitty is a regular patient. He was brought in on a Friday for a urinary blockage. They took him right away. Made sure to keep me updated on him. We got him back Saturday on lots of meds. They made sure to show us everything. He ended up blocked again, which is normal for cats, so we called Monday and he had to be put down. They were so compassionate. I could tell they also cared very much for our kitty and were sad with us. They are a great vet, they truly care for your animal along with you and will do what is best and make sure you understand everything.

Greensfork was great I had to make a very hard call to put my dog down she was 14 1/2 years old and days before she was showing signs of her last days of life. As much as we wanted to have this be natural she had started bleeding from her rectum. We made the call to Greensfork who told us to come in. They were so kind and very caring, made this unfortunate time a little easier. We are so grateful for the staff. Heidi was a blessing! Heidi and Autumn were both so kind and understanding haves us all the time we needed, the front office as well. I would recommend Greensfork Animal hospital anytime!! Thank you all!

I've taken 3 cats here. 2 cats to be fixed, which they did a good job of. However, about 8 months ago I brought one of my cats here because he was rapidly losing weight, vomiting all his food, and was unable to breath unless he held his mouth open. They brought him in and didn't let us go with, which is understandable because of the pandemic. They called us and said he was extremely sick and they needed to run blood tests to see what was wrong...they told me blood tests would be $700. I don't even pay close to that fot myself to have blood work done. I was absolutely appalled. We told them we could not afford that so they told us our only other option was to have him put to sleep and that they refused to release him to us otherwise. We made the decision to do put him to sleep because he was suffering. I asked them if they had an idea of what could be wrong. They said "we don't know without blood work." So you're telling me these people go to school for this and can't even give me an IDEA of what might have been wrong with my cat???They then asked if we wanted to take him home or have him cremated. I said I wanted to create him and bring his ashes home. They told me it would run me $400. FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS. I told them we could not afford that so they told us they would have him cremated but his ashes would be spread in a garden and not given to us. That ran us about $180. We settled on that and I went home without my baby and with no explanations at all.These people will prey on your grief. They don't want to help you, they just want your money. Please, if you love your pets take them somewhere else!!!

Open hours that are good for 9-5'ers plus a 24 hour emergency message line. Pretty quick about calling back, I've used it 3 times. Staff is kind and helpful. Can get animal OTC flea meds and de-wormers and things without being a patient. Prices are reasonable. Vet is good at surgeries as far as I have experienced, prepayment required. Every year they have free kittens :) I gave 4 instead of 5 only because it seemed like the vet was hard to get a hold of recently and our puppy needed help a little faster.. Try them out! Most people around here like them.

Maybe I just got my dog in on a bad day as my first visit... A procedure was done, and I never even got the chance to talk to the vet. I think the main problem is, I emailed her a very reasonable, kindly stated letter regarding my experience, and never heard back. That's what gets me.

I rarely write reviews, however, my experience with Greens Fork Animal Hospital warrants my time and opinion. I called this veterinarian by accident thinking it was the one I use regularly. The purpose of the call was to price out a neutering package for several stray cats I was going to rescue and bring into my home. They were professional and open about pricing, and did not mandate extra services and products that other places require for a simple neuter. $65 for the service plus a rabies shot for under $85 total.Having said that, my reason for writing a review is because of the staff and not the pricing. The whole process was professional and reasonably priced. Having said that, there was a mistake made by one of the staff in my billing, and they caught it that night while balancing their books (which they do daily). They called me the following morning, apologized, and offered to make it right.In a world that is becoming more and more "not my fault' and pointing fingers at others instead of admitting error, this was a pleasant surprise to me. It was inconvenient, however, and they kept their word, made right the error, and I did not have fix it, they did it all for me. I appreciate that we are human, and errors happen. When errors happen, own it, apologize and offer to fix it. Greens Fork Animal Hospital staff stood up, owned the error, and did the footwork to "make it right" with me.Honesty and principled actions are becoming more and more rare each year, and I applaud the staff for their honesty, their principles, and their commitment to their patients and their customers.I highly recommend this business because their actions are proof of their compassion and dedication to the little ones in our lives that we call family. Bravo Zulu staff, I wish there were more people in the world like you.

I take my small dog there! Very kind & caring staff! They do the best job grooming him of anywhere I've taken him! Other places I've taken him, he's come home covered with fleas! Not here! Been there several times. No fleas yet!Great place for pet care!

I've been taking my pets to see Dr. Osborne for many years now. We have never had a problem with the staff or the doctor. Yes, it's more expensive than other vets, so I would recommend getting a second opinion if your baby has been given a major diagnoses or has been told he or she needs to be put down.I am concerned about some of these more recent reviews regarding some of the staff, especially the one stating she was more than qualified to take care of animals, but doesn't have any education on veterinary care. My hope is that this issue is taken care of quickly as I fear this will cost them business. Also, I know we are in the middle of a pandemic, but please let the pet parents come in if their baby is going to cross over to the Rainbow Bridge. Pets are our families, and we want to make sure we have our proper goodbyes.Overall, I love Dr. Osborne and her staff, and so do our fur babies!
