I love getting my chicken salad sandwich from here! Hands down best in town! I'm always greeted with a big smile. These ladies work hard and they make amazing food. Recently my daughter and I stopped in and got cupcakes from there, oh my gosh words can not describe the yummy noises while eating them. Good job ladies and you know I will be back!

Confection Connection created everything for our wedding day - Groom's cake, hotel bag cookies, and our wedding cake and we couldn't be happier. Not only did everything taste phenomenal but also looked just as good! Tons of compliments from all of our guests. They were so easy to work with and got everything perfect! Can't wait to work with them for more life events to come!

I went to pick up a cake with my dad for their 40 year retirement, 40th anniversary, and paying off their home. The cake was horrible. It was sloppy the pearls weren't even, the colors were wrong, and the design of the clock was horrible my 6 year old could have done better. I told the cake designer this and she agreed with me along with the manager or owner (not sure). I apologized and said I hate to complain and they both were in agreement that the work wasn't good. (Why would they send the cake out?) The woman who decorated the cake (Wendy I believe) said she was dissatisfied and she would redo the clock on top. She did redo it and it looked better for sure! But this cake still was sloppy and looked like an amateur cake. I showed them a picture of what our cake looked like last year and they were both impressed. They said take the cake and call back later and they shouldn't have a problem giving a refund of some sort. I can only be honest the cake tasted good (especially the almond white) but the presentation was bad and I wanted it to be better for my parents. The company refuses to give a refund of any sort and said they'd give $100 off the next purchase but my mom said there will be no next purchase. There unwillingness to make this right is a big disappointment. They should have honored their word and had more dignity to not allow something so ugly to leave their kitchen. We took the cake because we felt we had no choice the party was 2 hours later. You guys must do better. The last cake was for my 10 year vow renewal and I was hoping my parents could of had a nice cake like we did. The color was supposed to be burgundy and it was red.

We ordered a regular red velvet cake for a party a week ago. It was delicious! This week was my daughter’s birthday and we have a gluten and egg allergy in our house. Finding moist gluten free and egg free cakes is nearly an impossible task. These guys made the BEST gluten free cake ever!!!! Super moist, fluffy, delicious! No one in my family had to miss out and that made this birthday even better! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Thank you so much!

This little place is amazing they need some book shelves and a funky rug or two and this place would be amazing! I know they are new but the food is bomb!Coffee also A 1 Call this little bakery Anja APPROVED!Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere for kids. I ordered a cake and cupcakes for a friend’s surprise birthday party. At the last minute the host had to reschedule because of a sick child, and the bakery was super accommodating! They let me put a TBD on the date of the party until we could get it rescheduled and then were able to provide the order with only a few days notice. They were delicious!

So this morning my wife and I decided to stop in here to see what kind of place this is. Well to start off I was impressed with the atmosphere and the initial view once I entered the business. Once we decided what we were going to order it seemed to go down hill. The lady at the register that took our order seemed to be distressed or just didn't want to be there. I had ordered the biscuits and gravy with iced white chocolate mocha to drink. Well here's my opinion if you enjoy biscuits that are about as thick as a chocolate chip cookie that are a little bit on the harder side with gravy that tastes like flour i would suggest you go here but if you want flavor check out Hardee's across the street. My wife ordered broccoli and cheese soup with iced Carmel macchiato. The soup tasted a little bland like it had been poured out of a can from Walmart. The drinks were both good just a little smaller than I expected but that's the least of my concerns. Total price was $21. I can see this business taking off if they made it a little more friendly and put some heart into it but my first impression I can't say I was completely impressed.

This bakery will forever be my go to spot for sweet treats. Not only is their cupcakes and cakes delicious, but they offer gluten free cupcakes and cakes. Not just gluten free, but specifically for celiac. They make sure there gluten free items do not get cross contaminated because they know someone with celiac disease could be severely affected by it. This brought so much happiness to me as it was thr first year in about 4 years my son has had a cake from a bakery due to being diagnosed with Celiac. Not to mention all the ladies up there are so friendly! I absolutely adore this place and people!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free/Celiac Disease

Ordered cupcakes for two events. Both were a week apart. Paid for first order first week. Then came in the next week to pick up the second order. Was told they charged us wrong and make us pay $135 more than costs that was originally quoted. I do not mind paying for what I ordered. But not when it was quoted wrong by the manager and had to pay the difference for the previous order also. We should not have to pay for their first mistake. Buyer beware if you are quoted something then go to pick it up it could go WAY up in price. And if it is like us it is the day of and no other options available at last minute. I will say the quality of the cupcakes were good but the way they handle their mistake was wrong.

I called to discuss ordering a custom cake and cupcakes for my daughters birthday. Grace was very helpful and suggested I message on Facebook with pictures. I sent the message late in the evening (after 8pm) not expecting a reply until at the earliest the next day. Someone got back to me that same night and said it should work fine. We went in the next day and hammered out the details of quantity, flavor, color etc. The pricing was good, the service was amazing, and I'm greatly looking forward to the event and seeing the product. I will try to update with a picture once we have them. We also stayed and ate food for lunch and it was also amazing. If you haven't been here to eat or order your cake, you're missing out!Kid-friendliness: They gave our daughter a cupcake to try and it was her first one. She absolutely loved it.

Visited for lunch on a slow Saturday around 1235pm. Two customers eating, no line, so I walked right in and placed my order for a salad and cinnamon roll. Cost was $19 with tip. Yikes! Took them 14 minutes to bring me my salad from the time printed on the receipt to when it showed up at my table. That is way, way, too long when there were just two customers in there. Someone who had a 30 minute lunch break and had to drive there probably wouldn't get back to work in time, so this was a big strike for me. The dining area really needs to look less institutionalized. It was depressing to sit there. I do understand this is small business and a dream of the owner, and rent is probably expensive. However some paint and lighting, and some general brightening up the place will make a huge difference. There were plenty of people coming in to pick up cakes so the bakery is probably their core business and maybe they don't care about the dine-in crowd. Who knows. My salad was fine and the lettuce was fresh. A piece of bread to go along with the salad would have been nice at that price point. I will say that cinnamon roll ($5) was very, very good and I could tell it was prepared in house as I couldn't taste dough conditioners (I am a home baker myself and very particular about my baked goods.) I am unlikely to go back as it took way too long to get my food and there was no nice atmosphere to sit in and enjoy my food. Its a cafe--needs to look it. I probably wouldn't even be writing this if it looked like it was worth what I paid for the food.

Also the woman who should of been handling the reconciliation told my mom I offended her. I was very kind, and even apologized for complaining but I said I just am not satisfied with the cake. Wendy said "oh no I totally agree I wasn't satisfied and I'm sure they will have no problem giving you a refund." Loraine (I believe) or the manager said she understood and agreed, she stated the color on top was not right but the color at the base was closer to what we asked. She agreed the clock was not satisfactory and they would redo it. Once it was redone I stated I still wasn't satisfied and I was sorry this didn't work out. We agreed to take the cake because of the short notice and they both said call us and we'll work something out by way of a refund. I told my dad, "you should have recorded because they probably will deny saying these things." Thats what happened....smh I'm appalled that I was offensive I never raised my voice, I was kind and Apologetic and understanding. Again the cake tasted good, but the company did bad business. My personal baker said she'd never let a cake go out of her shop like that. They should have taken more pride in their work.

I love it when you stumble upon a fabulous gem in your own little town and that is exactly what this place represents. They have an amazing array of cupcake flavors daily, along with cookies and pastries, such as to die for cinnamon rolls. They carry gluten-free options that are just as light and moist as the standard made goods, that alone makes them magical.The menu includes lunch items, I haven't tried any yet, guess that means that I will need to go visit again very soon.
