If you're a gokarter and come to Indianapolis ( Greenfield ) ya gotta stop at Comet. They have everything for the seasoned racer or consignment karts for beginners. Stop in. They are always knowable and willing to help.

Each time I have stopped in, everyone has been very kind and willing to educate me on things I need to know for setting up my kart. I ordered 2 dwt706-04 go kart rims on 4/29/23. They rejected and refunded my order without contacting me. So I've waited a week expecting rims but instead I had to find out my self it had been rejected. Order i.d.# 173537 . I've read similar bad reviews for CKS where the seller responds saying they tried contacting the buyer before canceling and basically called the buyer a liar. Let it be noted I was never contacted through email, mail, or phone. Other similar reviews were replied to by the seller stating the transaction never happened and the buyer is a liar. Let it be noted I have a screenshot of my order I have screen shots of my call history and email history so don't believe any lies the seller claims in there reply to this bad review. No excuses! you guys are horrible at customer service.

After buying thousands of dollars worth of parts over several years, I am now considering never purchasing from this place again. Unlike BMI and others, I always enjoyed the quick service and shipping, open communications on ordered items, friendly advice and much more. This time they dropped the ball big time! I placed 2 separate orders online. One with 3 tires and one with 1 wheel. They called me the same day and explained that they didn't have that size wheel in stock. Not a huge deal. They never mentioned anything about the second order for the tires. A week later, after sending an email asking about the order, and getting no response, I finally called them. The response was, we don't have those tires and can't get them in, order was cancelled. Since they are racers themselves, I just can't understand why they think it's no big deal to cancel an order, not notify the customer and then argue with me, telling me that "the notes here say that we called you". So I guess I am a liar then. So much for customers always right! SHOP ELSEWHERE! Don't believe what you see on their website as apparently it is just a indication of a wish list of what they have in stock.Update after response from owner:So the response is that I am still accused of lying. Why would I do that?? I can provide a copy of phone records and email records if you want to see??? But I see your response to ANY negative review is to deny any wrong doing. Like I said, there were 2 separate orders. You called me about the wheel and I answered the phone immediately. Nothing was mentioned about the second order. It is truly upsetting that you cannot admit to a mistake. Things would be different if you did that. But instead you try to point the blame back to the customer. Why would I call you a week later? Why would I write this review? Wow, lost all respect for your company, especially you, the owner.

I called this morning on behalf of my son for an order placed on 5/15/22 to simply change a shipping address (ID # 153935) for a 4.5L Fuel Tank. Not only did this NOT happen, the lady on my phone call was rude, dismissive, and consistently interrupted me. I was asked to take down my info, and when I requested that a simple conformation email be sent to my son for the address change I was told no. I requested to speak with a supervisor and was again dismissed. I work in Sales and Customer service as a Manager in a phone center for a large Automotive company and this was by far the worst I have been treated as a customer. I hope you can make this right by end of day. I will cancel card transaction if I am not addressed. Do the right thing here.....ITS SIMPLE.UPDATE: called back to see if they could get their act together after my very first phone call, in short no, they canceled my order without my consent (blessing in disguise). Back order timing is not my issues with this company, the service was terrible. I am not sure if the owner is aware but wow, not impressed, will take my business else where. New to Karting but had way more to spend. BUYER BEWARE, will be taking my business to BMIkarts going forward.

Excellent service from day 1. I bought a 206 motor from them and the knowledge there answering all my questions was great. I've made several orders over the last few month's and they are always quick to get it out.

I ordered some parts that didn't fit and called them back to work something out. I spoke to a "Betty" who gave authorization to return $75 worth of parts and avoid the 20% restocking fee in exchange for ordering another $260 in parts. When I realized only $50 had been refunded, I called them to fix the issue. The owner/manager said it had already been refunded and he sent half of the original parts back because they had been opened. How do you think I am supposed to realize they don't fit unless I try to install them? Bottom line: DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK THE OWNER CHARGING YOU FOR SOMETHING AND NOT SENDING IT. Filing a complaint with the BBB so others are aware.Update: Everything was in the kit you sent back including O-rings, so saying they were missing from my return was another lie. I assumed they were on the piston if not in the separate bag based on what you were saying but they are clearly with the rest of the parts. What appears to be the case is "Betty" gave the authorization to return before confirming with her superior and the superior made up the "missing parts" story as an excuse to not accept the return once they received it.I disputed the charge with my credit card company and provided the emails/receipts as proof. It was so clear to them what happened they refunded immediately and didn't even follow up to ask additional questions. Also, I got an email from the BBB saying no one responded to them and they will keep the dispute up permanently.

They have amazing customer service and they are very friendly. when i placed my order online they actually called me up because they were out of stock of something and they gave me advice on what i should get instead(being new to karting this was very helpful). I ended up saving a good bit of money and am very happy with the parts i received

I love the staff there and they are very informative, and have great prices on some things! Dont lean on them to much, your bill will go up high and fast but overall great place to get you and your hobby, mini bike,go kart etc on the path to fun! I would definitely recommend this shop to family and friends!

My son races go karts and i basically have no idea what is going on 80% of the time. The staff here has basically held my hand the entire process, including buying parts, adjusting the kart, and actual driving instruction to help my son improve. No one is condescending or brushes me off because of my lack of knowledge, literally helped me the entire way, cant say enough good things about this company and the people who work there.

So I've been buying stuff here for a couple of years now online spending probably $1500 total. I happened to be in the area and wanted to take a look at the physical store so dropped in. After walking around a bit I tried to get someone to help me find the axle keys and it was like pulling teeth. Once I finally got the girl at the counter to show me where they were, she got pissed because they didn't have the size needed and I wasn't going to buy anything. Guess I'll take my business elsewhere.
