I live locally, and was excited about the entire store being remodeled..Until you realize they forgot to include public restrooms. I feel bad for all the people who are passing through, only to realize you’ve got 2 choices: use a port o potty by the front door or walk over to McDonald’s.

Bathrooms are now employee only, at a highway rest stop.Go to the Pilot instead, they have giant clean bathrooms and don't violate Indiana state law by serving food without offering proper restrooms.

This is one of the worst stations I've been to. They don't have a toilet (except a porta potty), the computer check out doesn't work and they lock emergency exits against the fire code. It's not the workers fault, you can tell they are trying but the regional management is throwing them under there bus.

This place does not have a public restroom. They ask you to use port-a-potty. How pathetic is that. Wouldn’t recommend using this gas station.

A worker was being mean to a customer with a language barrier this morning. He seemed confused by the self check out. I was intimidated my first time using it too. She drew attention, and made everyone stare at him. Then, when he left, she was talking bad about him for everyone to hear. The whole exchange made me sad and uncomfortable. You could tell the other worker felt bad, and told him to have a nice day. The girl said he didn't deserve to be told that.

Very disappointed the rebuilt gas station is going to the toilet quickly. Bathrooms dirty, store has little merchandise. Pay people more or hold your managers accounts and have high expectations. Take care of it like it's your own.

When I have to ring myself up and they tell me that us the only way, as they watch. I still need a person to ring up ice, lotto tickets. If I want to work there, I would fill out an application. I am not getting a discount to ring myself out. You are taking the personal touch away from your business.

The “smart” checkouts are very frustrating and don’t seem to be quick at all as they’re faulty. I used to love stopping here for quick lunch grabs on the go but now I dread it. I miss the staff. I do think the bathrooms could be better kept and be better quality since this building is brand new.

Smart checkout is useless. Not even the employees can get them to work. After 10 mins of messing with it I just left all my stuff and went to the one across the street. Will not be coming back till they I hear have a normal self checkout or regular cashiers. If I see these checkouts anywhere ever again im just walking right back out.

Updated 20220612. Completely rebuilt and lot/exits expanded has modernized this station with a long overdue complete overhaul. The newest gas station in the vicinity, and it even has ethanol free gas nozzle pump option. The photos which I can't seem to upload for thus review oddly speak for themselves and even the restroom is above normal highway gas station quality. Now very modern.Original: Lived in area for decades and this place is the worst.1. bent, damaged pump keypad buttons freeze in winter if any moisture. Asked attendant, said 'it's past my pay grade'2. You can get TRAPPED on the south side of pumps because THERE"S no access that building side to enter/exit MUST return past through pumps area and if busy/blocked good luck with that3. Poor location as have been solicited for $ by vagrants/schmoozers multiple times at that location NOT SAFE4. People park alongside FRONT of building, blocking lane to pass thru next to pumps. NOT MARKED NO PARKING nor YELLOW CURB5. Most of the counter help are grumpy. I think over 25 years have met only a handful that are reasonably courteousThis station has given zero thought to customer convenience, safety, access. Hasn't changed in these areas for decades. Remodeled in 25 years I recollect only once well maybe twice but very minor.This station should be nuked by corporate, sold, management replaced, entire location redesinged, rebuilt - it is a SAD representation of a long-term business in this area. Management/local owner must really stink, bare bones. With all the new construction and traffic around, this place is a sad sad sad embarrassment.Plus I haven't been in the restroom in years but from prior posts it's probably hazardous to your health.Just changed from 2 to 1 stars.

The parking lot isn't nearly large enough; there's only access to one side and nowhere to turn around.The food and drink selection is good, but the building is a bit dirty. As far as gas stations go, it's "average" otherwise.If you're traveling down 70 and need fuel, go to the Pilot across the way instead.
