Stopped in to look at pricing on some wood chippers they had on display in front of the store-. One of them was exactly what we were looking for and was on sale at this time so we decided to buy it.The lady who was running the cash register inside the store came outside to answer our questions and assist us in any other ways we might need. I didn't get her name, something for which I'm sorry because I'd like to give her positive feedback personally - nonetheless, she was attentive and helpful and though she wasn't an expert on the ins and outs of wood chippers, she did know where to look or who to bring into the conversation if she didn't know the answer to a question we asked. I always find that to be the sign of a good employee with genuine company pride compared to employees who don't know an answer and just stand there waiting to see if maybe it will come to him in a flash of lightning or something.Another lady came out to finish up our transaction and she was knowledge and friendly as well. So as far as the employees at this location, I give them a wholehearted five stars.It got dark during our time here so I could see that the parking lot was well lit and on clean and the overall appearance of the exterior of the store was neat and well-groomed (no trash blowing around, no stray carts taking up parking places or denting cars, etc.)I did not go into the store during this visit so I cannot say too much about that; however, I could see the cash register area and a few feet of the front of the store through the window and it looked organized and well-stocked so I would think the rest of the store would follow suit.Overall, we had a pleasant experience at Orscheln's during this visit and were quite satisfied by the performance of each employee with which we interacted. Good service, clean surroundings and a sale price on the item we were looking to buy - what more could a person ask for in a shopping experience?I would recommend Orscheln's to anyone who would ask me. Not only would I, but I actually do.

Great store! I am a Grow Rewards member and it has been a real money saver! Had to buy a car battery last summer and this store has the best price on it, plus a three year free replacement warranty. I could not find a comparable battery with the correct CCA rating for the price I paid here. I know that this company recently was purchased by Tractor Supply, however this one appears to be changing to a Bomgaar's, due to there already being a Tractor Supply in town. I hope they don't change the store too much, i.e. staff, pricing, products stocked. I buy my motor oil, cat food and other house supplies here. It's a great asset to the surrounding area.

I'm working on a special project this week and I needed a particular item that turned out to be very difficult to find. I tried more than a dozen places locally and in Indianapolis without any luck, including several national retailers and big box stores. On my way home I saw Orscheln, decided to take a chance, and stopped in.Lo and behold, they had EXACTLY what I was looking for -- a large block of styrofoam! THANK YOU!

This is a nice store but won’t ever go back. Went there to buy some things for are 4-H animal projects and I have younger kids and they messed with one of the gun safes and made it beep from pushing buttons. One lady that worked there came back to reset it and she was not very friendly. As she walked away my wife heard her cussing about my kids so we left and now I know why people go to Rural king.

Very clean, well stocked and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. This is how a store should be run. I only gave 4 stars because the parking lot is too small and getting in and out is a major effort. The entrance is not marked well at all. Other than that, it's a pleasure to shop at, whether it's a one part emergency or just looking around for a while.

Nothing like cold time you feel of a kid tractor store as well as household needs. I believe the staff makes you feel at home and the place is just kind of cozy.

I have been to this store many times. The items I have purchased over years have been solid well worth the price. Most items I am still using them. I go there to get oil for car. They have it on sale just look for sale paper in your mail. The staff are always helpful & very kind.

Although I didn't find what I was looking for on this visit, I really like stopping by the store and seeing what they have in stock. I try to get my seeds here in the early spring, and some bales of straw in the fall. They do sometimes stock ammunition, and they actually had some shotgun shells in stock during my last visit.

Today I called the Greenfield store and ask the lady that answered if I came by to get soil could someone load it and come out and get my payment because I am disabled. She said sure we will work something out.I went and she came out got my cards and even helped put the guy that works there put it in my van.Her name is Stacie. She is an angel.

We go here to buy cracked corn and bird seed for our small birds and our ducks and geese. For the most part this store is nice but they don't always have what they advertise in their ads. Their prices on clothes and boots are a little expensive compared to other stores. Also the store is very crowded and it is hard to get around in the aisles. The people here are always very friendly and helpful if you need help loading something into your vehicle. They also host rescued cats and kittens from the humane society for adoption so if you would like to adopt a cat this is the place to go.

Absolutely no sales help unless you request it. They do carry some items that you can't find anywhere else. People that go shopping are big people. I'm a big boy I can go and shop for myself however there are occasion's when somebody needs help finding something because not every store merchandises their product the same way. Other than that the store is OK

The store was filthy and cluttered. I needed an item that I was unfamiliar with but couldn't get any help. The cashier was busy with a p pizza AND tacos which was spread out at the end of the checkout counter and she continued to eat and talk with her mouth full. She did not help me find the item . Just pointed to the back wall of the store. It wasn't even there. I asked again and was pointed in another direction. It wasn't there either. Shelves poorly stocked. Lots of blank spaces on the shelves and complete disarray all over. I won't waste my time there anymore.

They do have good sales on pet food, treats, etc. Have bought discounted flowers as well. Nice small store. The packages bof microwave pork rinds are great.

Or This is a great place to shop for many reasons.They always have help and they take as much time as needed to find what you need.Most of there staff is a member of FFA and have done what ever it may be you are doing.They offer great tips on projects and may even know a better way of doing it.There prices are competive to other farm stores.This place is handicapped excessable with close parking.They will even load what your buying if asked. They stand behind what they sell and they are very fair minded if you have a problem with what you purchase. They will go out of there way to make it right. I have personally experienced that. Have fun and enjoy shopping there.

I'm pleased..got my first cowboy boots..at the age of 61..they run big in size I needed to get s 3.5 size for 5.5 size .. you need to tried on your ..size 5.5 just way too big...I need up with A kids size 3.5 size and in pink and tan.. Ima girly girl .. love color..Pink on top of boot..

Bedding was wet outside but they did bring some new outHad a sign above dog food for 17.99 so got 6 bags (would have grabed more but the rest had mouse poop (it happens) and mold on thr bags) rang up 24.99 well you cant see the prices while they rung stuff up so didnt know till i was leaving the parking lot and checked my receipt they seemed like they didnt want to refund me because it wasnt supposed to have that sign on it .... they did do a refund
