We recently moved to the area and went to Greencastle Vet Clinic as a new patient with my cat Capone, who was very sick. They were extremely kind and sensitive as they told me my options of treatment and made me feel supported as I had to make a very difficult decision to have my cat put to sleep. They gave me as much time as I needed beforehand and were very empathetic to my grief. I opted to have my cat cremated and his remains were given back to me in a timely manner and in a beautiful wooden box. I highly recommend this clinic. Their prices are fair and the staff is very kind. We will continue to go there with our other pet.

I’ve been a client here for 20 years now and they’ve been wonderful to every pet I’ve ever owned. They’ve seen dozens of my pets through their entire life stage. I’ve moved away from Greencastle but still drive 1.5 hours away to take my three pups here and refuse to establish with a new vet. All of the vets here are wonderful to work with and I trust their judgement!

We hadn’t been here before but my mom always goes here so after a bad experience at our old clinic I called and booked an appointment. They were able to see my cat same day and everyone was so friendly and just good with her, Dr Helmers was very informative and kind. 10/10 will bring Ghostie back!

Dr. Helmers and his team are great. They have later hours than most clinics and are willing to work you in quickly for your animals needs. Everyone is very friendly. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Not our regular vet, but they got us in without question same-day when our vet was closed. Treated our sweet cat’s leg injury immediately and left with medications! Very professional team and would recommend to anyone! Thank you Greencastle Vet Clinic!

Had my boy Pixer neutered. Satisfied, although I would liked to have had more information in pamphlets of all procedures & vaccinations just as you would have if you were taking a "child" *Human to get these things done. Overall Satisfied. Maybe they will start including these beneficial papers in the future.

I brought my dog here a little while ago with excessive itching in his ears. I was able to quickly make an appointment over the phone and brought him in with no issues. The staff members I saw were all extremely friendly and the veterinarian gave me multiple options of treatment with pricing breakdowns so I could get my pup the best care available while staying in my price range! This place is amazing and I will definitely be bringing my dog back in the future!

The desk staff is rude. They do not care about people that are low income. They are all about $$ than caring for the pet and owner. They do not want to work with u on payment arrangements. I will not ever take my pet there. I will tell other people not to take their pets there. It shows that the veterinary only cares about $$ nothing else. I do not like how the desk staff got an attitude with me on the phone while I was asking him about the prices of every thing. This is my opinion to people that takes their pets there are dumb

My dog got into a Christmas stocking last week and ate 9 oz of Reese's peanut butter trees, wrappers and chocolate. I called the vet and they got him in right away. They were caring affordable and professional. Marvin recovered wonderfully. Thank you!

I took my dog in for her allergies and walked out with a ineffective treatment and a 220.00 bill. To put it in perspective I just saw my doc for allergies and the bill was 135.00 you be the judge.

I would recommend not taking your pets here I was denied help for my dog that had a medical emergency and yes That is her vet she’s been going there since she was born long story short they denied to look at her when she had shakes for some reason ended up making her have seizures and her temp was high to long it fried her brain and I had to have her put down by another vet that didn’t deny her and wasn’t even her vet so I would never recommend taking an animal to this place they prolly could have got her temp down before it was to late and she would have still been here with me she would have been 5 years old this July

Took our male cat in to get shots and fixed. They got us in quickly, monitored him overnight, and we were able to pick up the next day. Cat is doing well! We also got a nice flexible collar, so he can't lick himself. He's sleeping the day away.

Have taken all our cats and dogs there. One cat got into a bad encounter with a car, but they nursed him back for 2 weeks. We thought for sure he was a goner, but he's doing completely fine now. Always offer choices weighed with accurate cost estimates. They are very straightforward with choices and costs, take very great care of the pets. Highly recommend.

We have an aging female German Shepherd and they take wonderful care of her. The vets are great and the staff is wonderful. She boards there sometimes too. I had Shepherds before this one and took them here also. I have been using this vet for over 20 years. I am completely satisfied. They are great.

The best vets I've been to in years! They took care of the horrible problems both of our dogs had...the very health problems Four Loving Paws claimed they didn't have, then charged me an obscene price for the lies they told us. Thank God we finally found competent vets who love animals & don't drain your bank account. They're the polar opposite of four GREEDY paws. My babies are both doing a million times better. ❤

Honestly I like this place because they are very friendly. The place is clean but they can't handle their patients. My cat has no claws and they still can't have a successful check up. I rely on my cat for emotional support and have to have an annual checkup. The vet and I have an understanding but I would not refer anyone else to this clinic.

I am disappointed in the lack of communication from the office. This was my first visit. I took my cat for his annual checkups and shots and was surprised upon arrival that I would not be allowed inside the office due to the current COVID procedures. While I understand that they’re limiting contact I would have liked to know this before I scheduled my appointment. They just told me on the phone that they would do new patient paperwork in the car upon arrival.I live 30 minutes away and could have saved time, gas and money to do an appointment at my local vet that was doing drop offs for vaccines. I only scheduled with Greencastle because I thought I would be allowed with my timid cat in the room.The assistant told us that they failed to communicate this with us and simply forgot to mention it since they’ve been doing this since March. As a new patient they need to mention all current protocol. I will not return due to the unprofessionalism.

I took my dog there very sick and when I called they told me it would be 57.00 office call. They only had curb side service so I couldn't go in and when the vet came out he told me my dog had a temp of 105 and he was going to do a blood test when the tech finally came back out she told me it was 190.00 for the antibiotics and pain meds I explained I had only brought 90 and they were not going to give him the meds he needed for the fever. I went and got the money from my son but really they were gonna turn him away that sick!
