This is the 2nd time I've been disappointed since the sale of dairy castle. 1st time I ordered a BBQ sandwich, which was dry an burnt taisting.The 2nd time I ordered Nacho Supreme, no nachos, (not even nacho cheese on it) it was tortea chips, I would of never ordered it I would of known that, false advertisement.I ordered a Sunday an the dish was half full, not $7 worth or even close..I feel like I was ripped off, not once but twice..Use to be my favorite place to eat in town..I won't be back to pay to much for false advertisement or burnt fooď.food..Keep up the great workMaybe you'll get closed down for bad quality foodIt's sad considering I've been eating there for over 20 yrs

I just paid $12.80 for two medium BUTTER PECAN milk shakes. NOT EVEN A PIECE OF A PECAN IN EITHER ONE!!!! I called to complain, FIVE TIMES, NOBODY WILL ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!

They are closing for the season very soon. So get your behind over to the Dairy Castle and fill up on your favorite treats and sweets! Good, hearty, and tasty options for every palate. Enjoy it inside or on the hood or your cat. This place is nostalgic and the people are so friendly! I recommend the coke floats!

Still going strong after all these years!!! The Orange/Pineapple hand dipped or the Black Raspberry hand dipped are the best ice cream I have ever had! HANDS DOWN - The BEST!!!!And on the Soft serve side, It’s a Large Chocolate Soft serve in a Dish! Nothing fancy, just a delicious and Classic Favorite!!!

I am so glad that I moved back to Greencastle. This is one of those places that slipped my mind, and I truly don't know why. The supreme nachos are perfect. My husband has kind of developed a fried mushroom addiction, but we don't see a need to seek help. Finally, the ice cream.... how can it NOT be perfect when you have so many options to choose from. You get to build your very own bit of perfection.

Great variety and quality for ice cream, and the foods really good for an ice cream place too. Honestly some of the best ice cream I've had. Banana milkshake is amazing.

I have been coming to Dairy Castle since I was a kid. And took my kids there also! It's always been the best ice cream place around! Brownie Fantasy was always my favorite! Then the Strawberry Shortcake. Even after I moved away, I would enjoy stopping by Dairy Castle when visiting my family. I haven't been to Dairy Castle for a couple of years until today. I was looking so forward to my Brownie Fantasy and also sharing it with my husband so he will share his Strawberry Shortcake with me! I was so disappointed! They both didn't taste the same as it used to!Not near as good! Iheard they have different owners. I'm so disappointed !!

My wife's from there, n has been going there seen she was little. N so we drive from camby once a week. The delicious ice cream n milk shake, the BBQ pull pork sand the taco salad sucks.

Food used to be awesome. Best cheese fries by far. That super can cheese with jalapeño bits was the bomb. The cheese is gone now. Replaced with some cheaper can cheese that reminds of what I imagine yellow paint taste like. Makes you wonder where else they are cutting corners...bring back the cheese!EDIT: THE CHEESE IS BACK. THEY REALLY DO CARE. AWESOME CHEESE FRIES!!!!!!!!!!

If i could rate zero stars out of 5, I would.This place was the best restraunt / icecream parlor ive been to since I was a child.They had good food, so many choices of icecream to choose from.And the portions were monumental.Ever since that new owner bought this legendary place out, the business here has been ruined.You are not allowed to dine in anymore. Now you have to dine outside or in your vehicle.I saw the inside of the window, and they have stock strung out all over the building. So the area you used to dine in now is nothing but a big mess for supplies.How dare they ruin my favorite joint.And the icecream sucks.Its cheaply done, using cheaper supplies, sold at a higher price.CHEAPSKATES!If it aint broke, DONT FIX IT!I hope you new owners are happy with ruining the memories that people had here.Thanks...

Went in today and ordered corn dog, fries, a tenderloin, and nachos. The put the order in wrong and gave me onion chips instead of my tenderloin. When I told the lady the order was not correct she said that’s what I paid for and if I wanted what I ordered I would have to go back through the drive through and reorder what they put in wrong! Then I get home and give my kids their food and the chips are so stale my son wouldn’t eat them.Will not be going back due to poor attitude of the employee that took my order wrong 😡

Took my grand daughter here and I ordered a Brownie Flurry. I was totally disappointed. I was expecting Brownie chunks in it not just one on top and nothing but little bitty crumbs after that. Might as well have gotten just vanilla ice cream cause that is what it was. When your advertising a Brownie anything there should be brownies chunks of brownies not just micro pieces.

This is a favorite place. Been going since I was a kid. They have the best ice cream and fountain cokes. When they close in the winter, they can't open soon enough. You may have to wait in a long line but, it's worth it. Try it and enjoy ♥️🍧🍨🍦🥤

Every time I go the place is busy! But that doesn't take away from how fast they get your order out. I haven't found anything on their menu that isn't yummy!

This is the single best local restaurant I've ever been to. They sell anything from hot dogs to nachos and it all tastes amazing. They are a little pricy but you get what you pay for. They have a ton of different flavors of ice cream and it's extremely hard to choose. But you can't choose wrong because like the food it's all so wonderful. Personally I would eat here every day if I could. If you're in the area you would do yourself a disservice not to check this place out.

If I could give a negative five star review I would I waited in line for an hour and a half and made two trips for a taco salad no olives and hot salsa the first trip consisted of a chicken taco which I did not order and the second trip consisted of a taco salad with olives and mild salsa. I am highly allergic to olives and if I wasn't paying attention this could have been the end of me the employees were not paying attention one bit and five of them for standing around in front of the ice cream machine talkin this is ridiculous and they need to get their stuff together

My food was good, but prices are up and serving size is smaller than in the past. Also, the staff are not wearing masks, and the two people I saw were handling food without gloves. I won't be going back.

The staff was extremely rude to us in the drive thru. We ordered hot food & ice cream products. First they gave us some of the ice cream products, then the wrong hot food. Now they needed to make our food. Meanwhile, we have a cup of ice cream & an ice cream cone melting in the car while we are waiting on the hot food. Finally we get our hot food but don’t have our two shakes. They need to make them. We asked how long because our cone & cup of ice cream are melting. They said 2 mins. We said, “our ice cream is melting.” They yell at us & we tell them they should have given us the hot food before they gave us the ice cream. They go get another ice cream cone & practically throw it out the window at us, they yell at us again & said this happens when you order both hot & cold items. The lady (thought it was a manager) yells…this is the way it works…I worked at Dairy Queen. Probably why she now works at Dairy Castle. The service is terrible & food not as good as it once was. I would avoid this place…maybe try Dairy Queen…she’s no longer there!

Good used to be great until they got new owners. Now they’ve replaced everything with cheaper stuff and you know what they say… you get what you paid for except you don’t anymore. You pay for a steak and get bologna. This place used to be my favorite place to eat but I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to go here 🤢

This is the 3rd time weve come here in a week and its terrible every single time. Weather a long line, no line...doesnt matter. Its full of mostly kids and a rude adult everytime.....the wait is suddenly insane.....and we come here every year, several times. I dont think well be coming back this year. 6 cars ahead of us and we waited 40 minutes before we got to order ....then when we did finally order- the kids were amazing! Great attitudes and happy faces! HOWEVER!!! they are NOT learning their customer service skills from the adults bc the adults-- EVERY SINGLE TIME-- are soooo rude!!!! Like the kind of people who shouldnt work with the public. BC they dont like PEOPLE!!!????I came here with my grampa all the time as a kid and we would sit inside when the counter was a little bar. It used to be awesome!!! Its just not the same at all.

Go to the Dariette in Bainbridge instead. They have ruined dairy castle.Don't waste your money here they lied saying they wouldn't change anything about this place when the new owners took over but everything is gone downhill. Seeing the staff argue on social media with a customer who was served completely raw chicken is an extremely bad look. Plus they employ Amy, who has ran through every food service job in Greencastle IN for the past 15 years, she's been a manager everywhere but a permanent fixture NOWHERE. Fire her, and sell this place to some reasonable people who aren't failures.
