CVS in Greencastle does not care if patients are harmed or even killed due to their negligence and hostility. I took the time to place a refill request for my heart medication four days in advance and had even requested auto-refills on three occasions to ensure prompt refills. However, CVS failed to fill my prescription or call me back as promised, leaving me without my heart medication. This caused my blood pressure to increase to 200/110 and I was hospitalized, and therefore I believe I have the right to sue CVS for negligence. I voiced my concern in a calm way, without raising my voice or cursing. At 3:10pm on March 12th, 2024 (CVS corporate: review your employee logs) I was met with hostility and unprofessionalism from three CVS representatives: a young lady, a middle-aged woman, and a man, who claimed to be the manager but would not provide his first name. I recorded the call. Instead of offering a solution or even an apology, the representative proceeded to raise his voice and threaten me, stating that they would not refill my medication until I rescinded my threat to sue CVS for their egregious mistake that caused me physical harm. I was absolutely shocked and appalled by his behavior. Not only did CVS fail to provide the medication I needed, but they also had the audacity to intimidate and bully me during a time when my blood pressure was already elevated due to the lack of medication. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. CVS has not only lost a customer (I drove two hours in the opposite direction to get a refill from another company), but I will be making sure to spread the word about my experience. I strongly urge anyone in need of a pharmacy to look elsewhere, as CVS clearly does not prioritize the health and well-being of their customers, rather they prioritize the happiness and wellbeing of their overworked staff. Shame on CVS for their unacceptable behavior and incompetence, and I will still pursue legal action to be reimbursed for medical expenses plus punitive damages.

Rude and incompetent woman working the morning shift. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. Absolutely zero help offered except a disrespectful attitude because she is lazy. Wasted trip wasted time and won't ever be back.

The pharmacist is Very rude and unprofessional over the phone. I Called corporate. Called about a a speciality medicine and they were just blunt rude and said it’s not their problem and they can’t do anything. They also were saying they didn’t see prescriptions that were clearly in their system or we wouldn’t have received messages from them about it. They were also on the app. I called another CVS and it was a wonderful experience and they helped me.

I showed up to CVS 15 (maybe more) minutes before I needed to pick up my daughter from preschool. I waited in line the whole 15 minutes. By the time I got to the window (there were only two cars ahead of me) I was really in a time crunch. To my disappointment the lady at the window didn’t even acknowledge me. None of the staff did. So I drove away to get my daughter. After I got her, I came back. I finally got noticed by the staff only for them to say they were having issues with my insurance. I haven’t changed insurance so I am not sure why there was such an issue. I could tell the lady didn’t want to deal with me as it was about 15 minutes until she was due for her lunch break. She told me I could come back after 3. It should not take such trouble for me to obtain my medication. It certainly should not take THREE TRIPS. I will be switching pharmacies.

Called multiple times to ask a simple question. On hold for over 10 minutes each time. Needing to drive 30 minutes into Greencastle just to ask a simple question. That was the only way to speak to a representative at the Greencastle CVS Pharmacy. Instead of being polite, the rep said they are busy filling prescriptions and answering other phone calls. After 30 minutes of trying to call, obviously they are horribly understaff or the staff are not responsive to phone calls on hold in their phone system. Consider switching pharmacies…CVS has poor customer service.

This cvs is a joke! I am very sick. I received my text that my script was ready for pickup. My son goes up there and sits in line for 45 minutes and then they go yo lunch. He comes back sits in line again and they told him to come back in an hour. What is the point of the text that it is ready? Why do they not stop the line before going to lunch? This has got to be the worst pharmacy.

Needed an anti-biotic, dropped off the script at the window, but the pharm tech helping me very coldly took my script and told me to come back after lunch. Come back around 4:30 to find out she had left my script under a pile of other paperwork by the computer, and it hadn’t been processed.

Not friendly, extremely rude. They're so disorganized. There are stacks and stacks of medicine just piled up back there, so it's really no surprise. Seems like they're taking on a ton of customers but they don't really have a way to handle it. Somebody should report this store to be reviewed because it seems unsafe how everything is just laying on the floor, in piles, and the boxes which are supposed to be used to organize prescriptions by name are just stuffed full.They couldn't fill my prescription for like 2 or 3 days. On day 3 I finally call and won't back down on the issue and they claim it'll be filled but might not be covered. I know that my insurance covers this medicine because I had already spoken to them about it and double checked. Of course CVS informs me that I owe them a couple hundred bucks for it and I'm like no I don't they got a big attitude and blamed me saying I told them I would pay for it in the event it wasn't covered. I did not. I knew it would be covered. I told them to fill my prescription is what I told them.The guy on the phone had a huge attitude. I know who he is because I've seen him in person. He's a tan looking dude, possibly of indian descent. He should be fired. So should whatever lady working back there with him. He deserved every bit of the chewing out he got because when I left that place I got my prescription filled IMMEDIATELY at the kroger down the street. I didn't have to pay a dime and the employees there were literally dumbstruck by how stupid the claims that CVS had made to me were. Something is wrong back there in that CVS. Get new employees.

Worst pharmacy in the area... had script filled in Avon got it cancelled and called into this location. Was told can't be filled so I called in at 9am was told would take two hours to fill so I waited. Three hours later they finally managed to complete their task. Slow, rude, and does not follow guidelines. I worked at a CVS in a Indy and these ppl are the worst! Go somewhere else

I used to get my pain meds filled there, then suddenly they informed me that I could only get one weeks worth at a time & that my insurance co. said that. I went to another pharmacy & got the entire months worth with no problem. Then I called my insurance co who said they NEVER told them to make me go every7 days. I guess they wanted the co-pay 4-5 times a month. My sister in law had a huge problem with them in the past too. I'd go ANYWHERE but there for my prescriptions.

Always have to wait. No matter what. There could literally be no one in line and you will still wait. The pharmacist is always running around asking his employees questions. They hardly ever can find my medicine. They are rude. I have to pick my meds up once a week. And I dread it Everytime. Only reason I go there is my insurance pays for cvs only. It's the worst cvs I've been in. And hands down the worst pharmacist I have ever encountered

Sat in drive through line for over an hour for a covid test only to be told they can't test me because something messed up there end. They also asked me to shut my car off because they couldn't here me through my mask. Ridiculous. I was updated 1 time while sitting there and that was it. Then asked to drive around agian and wait to see if the nurse could figure it out.

Worst customer service I have EVER received at a CVS. Four. FOUR employees sitting and staring at me , nobody saying a single thing and going about their business. Almost ten minutes in line and finally someone says All during this time, I am the only one in line. I will not be coming back nor will I ever use a CVS again unless I absolutely have to.

Terrible terrible service. The indian guy in pharmacy in the back is extremely rude. He tried to charge me several hundred dollars for a prescription that should have been covered. When I left that place and went to Kroger they said my insurance and prescription went through just fine and I owe nothing. Got my meds in 20 minutes. I just had to leave the CVS on 1010 Indianapolis Road that employs rude Indian student pharmacist's that have a chip on their shoulder without a clue in their head. Get out of here.

I needed to pick up an inhaler for my daughter. Her prescription was in Indianapolis but we are in Cloverdale so I had it transferred to Greencastle. I pulled up to the window before 6 and the curtain was down so I pulled around and parked so I could go inside to pick it up. They were still there behind the counter with the lights on and everything and wouldn't let me pick up her inhaler!!! I had to have it transferred AGAIN because she desperately needs her inhaler. They told me the nearest 24 hour CVS is either in Terre Haute or all the way in Avon! In the time they spent trying to figure out where the closest 24 hour CVS pharmacy was they could've given me the inhaler! If they wouldn't have closed the drive thru early I would've been able to get it and be gone before 6! I will never use this CVS!!!

My daughter had her doctor call in a prescription at 2 pm on Friday. We went to pick it up at 5:30 and they say they don't carry that type and we would have to have our doctor call in a different perscription or have doctor send a prescription to Kroger. It's 5:30 on Friday and doctor is closed till Monday. Would have been nice to get a call or they could have called the doctor office. Will not be back. Ridiculous and absolutely unprofessional. Will not be back.

They frequently lose prescriptions, then tell you they never received them. There is one older lady in the pharmacy who has been there for years who is great but most of the other pharm techs are just awful. They are rude and act like you are holding them up from something important. If I had different insurance I would never go here.

Awful service. Every time we went here we had problems. They could not figure out how to use our anthem insurance, constantly making us pay for things we shouldn't. Four times we had to call anthem and hand the cvs associate the phone so they could explain what to do. The last time we went, the associate lost our prescription, tried to tell us they never got it, then called us two hours later saying they found it. We will not come here again.

They take FOREVER!!! Not only that but the person at the window saw me waiting behind the car he/she was helping and was not there when we got to the window and it was an additional 10-15 mins before we were helped. If my prescription insurance wasn't CVS insurance I would never go there.
