First experience at a vet and I absolutely love this place! The staff were all so friendly to both myself, and my puppy and got us in for a next day appointment for my dog’s injury! Prices are great and affordable, and they didn’t mind my million questions I had, with being a new dog owner. 100 percent recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be returning! It’s a long drive from southern FW and every time I make the drive with my screaming, terrified cats. I say “I need a closer Vet” then I see how gentle and sweet the doctor is with them, he speaks in a quiet whisper and it’s worth the drive. I have no doubt my little babies are receiving top notch care.

Although I will be taking my Yorkie back there tomorrow, overall this clinic is good. Down side is I was asked to pick up antibiotic several hours later. I went to pick it up and it was not ready and I was given a tiny amount of liquid to last supposedly for 20 doses…not ten doses. Also, I was promised pills to crush and they were out of stock.

I like it here. I wish I could have had them take of him. I think he would have had a better chance. But, they don't do weekends

They do not care to help nor are they knowledgeable on exotic breeds. They only know basics. They go through the motions and get your money and don't try to find the true problems on things. They also overcharge. They tell you one price, you agree to it, they then hit you with a bill more than double. They overcharged me several times until I finally had enough. They also need to go to school longer to learn about cat breeds. Maybe become a feline specialist. They only know basic domestic cats, not rare breeds. This vet needs more schooling.

Over the past 2 years, I brought up concerns about my dog and was always told that the things I was worried about were appearing just due to his old age. I was always reassured that he was a healthy boy and there was nothing to worry about. I literally just brought him in this past spring because I felt something was off. Again, I was reassured he was fine.Fast forward to the end of June, and my boy is majorly lethargic. They couldn't get him in until the following week, so I took him to a walk-in clinic. The clinic was more thorough than Grabill ever was. They took blood tests and found that my boy was in kidney failure, had diabetes, and liver issues.Now my sweet boy is dead. I can't help but wonder if things could have been different if these things would've been detected much earlier.Looking back, he showed symptoms that should have prompted someone to test his blood. I didn't know better.I still brought my dog in after taking him to the walk-in clinic and the only "treatment" he received was an anti-inflammatory shot, some antibiotic pills, and an energy paste because his appetite was inconsistent (first ingredient was corn syrup...for a diabetic dog??). I will never bring any of my dogs here again.I genuinely feel that if my concerns were taken seriously and this clinic would have been more thorough, maybe my boy would still be here with me today.Word of advice: Trust your gut. Take your pets elsewhere to get another opinion. You know your pets best.

There was a substitute vet working the day I went with my friend. She was one of the sweetest vets I have ever encountered. She was excellent with my best friend's dog. She was knowledgeable and honest. If she had her own practice I would strongly consider taking me dogs to her!

Always have a amazing experience here. The vets are super friendly and well informed, the support staff is the same. Super clean, with very little wait time. Biggest perk? They don't shame you if your cat is an indoor/ outdoor cat.

I was very worried about my elderly dog. I called before hours and spoke with a lady. She asked me to call back when it opened but was very nice about it. She said she was out walking a dog. She then, to my surprise, called me when she got back took the office even though it was still before hours. They were very booked that day but they still squeezed is in and took very good care of us!!

The office staff is very disorganized. From our vet first visit dealing with the staff was a nightmare, but my cat seemed to like the vet so we stayed. Our cat had emergency surgery and died. Dealing with the staff afterwards made me a lot more picky about vets. We were given wrong appointment times. The one office lady gave us the time she comes to work not our appointment time. After surgery when we had to pick up his thing, I called before I came so they could organize. They couldn't find his things or his file. I went through three people before I got someone who knew what I was talking about. Also after surgery I asked for a bill which they said don't worry about they will mail it. It came one week before it goes to collections.

I have three cats and have just lost our dog Lucky. Before Lucky we had three labs that were also cared for by Grabill Vet. The last four years of care that we received with and for our rescued old coon hound Lucky have been extraordinary. I will never take a pet anywhere other than there.

I took my dog in on a Wednesday, because he was barely drinking water, nor getting up to go to the bathroom, and not eating. I told Dr.Robbins and his staff about all his symptoms. ALSO, told them he felt warm and was unable to get comfortable. He checked his temperture and said his lympnoids were a little swollen and said he had the “dog flu” which I know is a real thing, although after explaining everything to him in detail and that he had never been sick in 6 years, he basically showed a lack of concern and spent maybe five minutes with my sick dog, which was only to give him an anti-imflamatory shot to help bring his temp down, and then gave me a generic antibiotic and sent us home. He never even suggested blood work, no urine or stool tests, no NOTHING.... 48 hours later, our beautiful boy whom was never sick and had been a healthy vibrant 6 year old was dead within 48 hours. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND taking ANY animal to Grabill Veterinary, if you truly care about your animal!Terrible bedside manner, no follow up call, and complete lack of urgency shown in a seriously urgent situation.
