Y’all are trifling for selling multiple containers of expired dog food.Edit: Went back to this store 5 days later and the soft Wellness dog food that has Best By dates of November 2023, January 2024 and February 2024 were still on the shelves. I took them down and they were taken to the back. Y’all have to be cautious at this store because clearly they are incapable of controlling their inventory. And I was told that it would be perfectly fine for me to hypothetically give, my dog, food that has not been of high quality for over four months.

Paid $70 to wait 2 hours for the groomers to say my dog was too squirmy to give a haircut to yet they did a pretty good job on the trim up on her face so it doesn’t really add up. My puppy then got kennel cough the next couple days.

Needed assistance getting salt water fish. Staff would lock eyes with us but walk around us/not approach us. We stood for over 30 minutes in the fish section waiting for assistance. Asked a man that came into the tank area for assistance and he sighed and made it very obvious we were inconveniencing him. Very short and brief with us. We got two decent sized live rocks and two emerald crabs. Both rocks were shoved into one fish bag with no water so we had no way to help acclimate them to our tank. The cashier then placed the bag of crabs on TOP of the bag of live rock that was already being punctured due to the two rocks being shoved into one small bag and risked the crab bag being punctured. She then noticed my facial expression of concern, went to put the crabs in a separate bag and accidentally DROPPED the bag of crabs onto the ground. She then got them in the bag and started just carelessly tossing the bottles of fish medication/water treatment, the bag of tortoise food and other items ON TOP of the crabs. They are live animals in a small bag of water and she had no care about injuring them or popping the bag. We were offered no discount for the fact she dropped the crab and were not offered a selection of different crab in place. Thankfully the crabs survived the ordeal and are thriving but there was no apology, or anything. We felt extremely unwelcomed, and like a burden and had poor service. If the crabs were treated like that, then i worry about how the other live animals there are treated. We will never be returning to this store for our salt water tank needs and will travel farther just to avoid this store.*update*** The manager called and left a voicemail asking for us to call them back to discuss the issue. We attempted to call back twice and we were told the manager would be notified and would call us back and we have yet to receive that call to this day to rectify the situation.

Has groomed my dog for over a year with absolutely no problems! I ask them to trim his tail and they said he was to aggressive and they could not see him anymore. Of course they waited until after I paid and left a tip before I was told this. A 20 pound dog is too aggressive for them to groom. Oh and did I mention me and my wife were right outside the window and watched most of the grooming and never once saw him being aggressive at all. He has never been aggressive at all!! I would not recommend Petco or Regan for grooming! You could have just told me he didn’t like his tail done and we wouldn’t have it done. Instead you kick him out after all this time. Hope you enjoy the tip!

This is the fourth time I have went in here and found dead hermit crabs! A customer shouldn't be finding them dead. They do not give them the proper humidity and temperature to survive. They slowly are suffocating. Don't they know how to take care of them? Almost every single hermit crab I have bought from here has died. Pet supplies plus takes way better care of their hermit crabs. They actually seem to care. I feel so bad for all the hermit crabs that have died at petco. Management, do something!

Just left this PetCo and the groomers there were very haggard and rude. Didn’t give my dog a chance, they were very dismissive and they should definitely not be working with pets or the diverse public. Additionally, the hand sanitizer things were all empty storewide, except the one by the reptile department. I would NOT recommend this PetCo to my enemies.

Was there a few months ago with a fish issue and Aquatics guy James apparently didn't know I owned the same water testing kit and know what the colors mean tried telling my levels were off and showed my the test tube showing it at perfect levels. He must've thought it made more sense that my levels were off and not the tank I got the fish from was now "under observation". I called him about it he must've gotten embarrassed and threatened to not sell me fish. I was in there again today and he must still be sore over it because he again tried giving me attitude over a shrimp that didn't even make it home. His customer service is trash. He needs to work on that and being honest with people as to not turn them off of the hobby. 10 years in it and he is obviously jaded from his failures in the hobby.I haven't had issues with anyone else but him. The rest of the employees are at least civil.

The prices are crazy high, which isn't necessarily bad, but they have a major staff shortage so trying to get help and have questions answered is not easy. I give major props to the staff though. They handled the holidays like champions every time I was in there

Called a week ahead to schedule my dog grooming, talked on the phone with an associate, said there was no issuesbesides to bring his paper work.Took off work, brought his papers, driving in the snow to come, and then they denied to groom my dog because he coughed once in a high stress environment. Poor customer service. Terrible animal interaction.

I have been trying to get a fish tank for my girls cycled for over a month with zero success. I went into this store today looking for anything to help and was so fortunate to run into the aquatics center lead Maddy (sp?). She was super helpful, super knowledgeable, and super eager to help me find something that will work. I will be back and asking for her by name with any future questions

New employees are rude and pushy. Store is always a mess and unorganized. This store used to be well organized and the old employees were a joy to talk to.its a shame what the new terrible management has done to the place.

If I could give a negative review I would. I scheduled an appointment to have my kittens checked for flea medication from the Petco in Dunlap, Indiana. Instead of receiving useful information about the young manager said to me and my mother, “mam I am tired of you interrupting me and being rude!” I was shocked and asked to speak with her manager and was told that she was the manger, named Rickie! She was vile and rude. I asked to know who the district manager was and was given a business card with a disconnect telephone number.The vet then looked at us and said, “ Do you still want me to look over your kitten?” In a rude and disrespectful manner. After several moments the vet seemed to get a little bit friendlier.After I left Petco I called several times to reach the district manager named, Excel. When she finally reached me her first response was, “ I’ve already spoken with the staff and there are FIVE eye witnesses to this situation!” There us no way that there was FIVE eye witnesses! I’m asking that a manager that cares about customer service view the video cameras and then talk to your employees about how they can improve their customer service experience. Maybe she was having a bad day but her behavior should be addressed! I’ve been to your establishment many times in the past two years. However, unless this situation gets addressed that will be my last time. Employees come and go, but good customers don’t. They enjoy using the same place!

Had dog's nails trimmed. Did a good job and as "walk-ins", we didn't have to wait long at all. Tech seemed very friendly. She sat on the floor at our dog's level and talked with her, trying to build a little trust level with her. 👍 We've been very happy taking our dog's here.

Hailey is the BEST groomer! She not only makes my Bailey look so handsome, but also is sweet and welcoming to both Bailey and me. He pulls me into the store when we arrive and is always excited to see her. This tells me he enjoys his grooming experience.

Great service and very prompt. I scheduled a full bath and cut for a medium size and large size dog. Results for both were phenomenal! Could never give enough praise to my dogs' groomer Hailey M. and the helpful staff on site.

I Took my 11 lb wire haired terrier in for a bath and nail file. It cost 40 dollars way to expensive and she smelled terrible. Not a 5 star groom.

I have taken my 20lb dog in there the last 3 years and had no problems getting his nails cut, now they have a new policy that if they don't pass the check in they won't do nothing. He has up to date vaccine records and you have to sign a release that if something happens they take them to a vet and you have to pay. I will never go back for anything.

Lady was rude to my kids and proceeded to say they charge for bags now because “Aldi” does that. Store was a mess, not a single associate helped or greeted us when shopping. I’ll stick to the better pet store in town rather than there.

Went to Petco for dewormer, found on shelf for 43.99. I checked other area stores online and found same product for 27.99. I did find a toy and some treats for my dog and walked up to the front end to check out. I decided to leave merchandise on counter and walk out after my interaction with a female employee.Apparently I was waiting by grooming area checkout and not front end. I waited for about 5 mins. When the female employee walked up to an area nearby to help another customer check out I asked if anyone was working the counter I was standing at. She condescendingly advised me I was standing in grooming area and that she was in check out area. Her tone was rude and facial expression was sour.Also Store was dirty, cluttered and disorganized.

I hardly ever leave reviews but I think it's important to note that I'm very impressed by your staff! I bought a snail to clean out my fish tank and it wasn't much, but the girl that assisted me knew everything about fish! She was a really nice girl and took the time to explain things to me about several different areas with owning a fish tank. Very knowledgeable. And the cashier... Same! He was very nice and took his time to answer a few of my questions with knowledge of the subjects I was asking him about. Such a nice experience 🙂.
