This location is such a nice experience. Staff is all very friendly, store is well kept. This town is lucky to have such a nicely ran Dollar General.

This is a good Dollar Store. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The only issue is the parking lot. There are three huge potholes as soon as you pull in here. The whole town has horrible roads. You'd think corporate would pay to have the parking lot patched though. It's been this way for at least a year.

Update--3/26/21I didn't feel comfortable doing the online survey but I just wanted to thank the wonderful staff, particularly the manager--(I'm pretty sure, beautiful lady with reddish-brown hair and bangs) for always bring so sweet and making my quick stops so easy. It's always easy to find what I need and if I have any questions they always get answered. Ya'll deserve a raise. Thanks!

They are mostly all nice. But closing at 6 or 7 when some of us can't get out till then isn't cool. Just wish they would stay open as long as the other dollar stores so we don't have to go all the way to mejier or Walmart when we get home from whatever we're doing and or being home w kids and our husband's get home from work. Just saying it's upsetting to see them close so early.. Just hope it changes soon back to atlease 9pm!

Good luck finding someone to check you out. I dont believe its the staffs fault but a corporate issue. DG builds in communities pays minimum wage and offers nothing in return. I prefere to see mom and pop shops come back. Im done with DG. Not giving them another penny. They take from our Gaston community, dont provide or give back anything. I feel bad for the employees and wish that ground was never sold to them. Gaston was better off before they came here.

Gaston dollar general is full of fun friendly funky people. Its always clean and there is always a smile there, sometimes the sales don't work right though

I stop here a lot to grab odd and end groceries on my way home from work. The store is clean and the staff do a good job

When you're in a pinch, and you need something in a hurry, sometimes you don't think Dollar General has it but then you go in and boom there it is something to get you by for a while until you can get to the supermarket that you desire.

Half the time they have to close because of short staff. You can drive 5 mins to Dollar General or drive 15 to Walmart. That's what it boils down to.
