We came to watch the solar eclipse and stumbled upon this park. So cool. The lake is pretty and they have a petting zoo. The feed is only 25 cents. So many ducks.Playground: There are a few.Restrooms: Typical park restrooms.Dog-friendliness: Lots of areas for dogs to walk.Picnic area: There are many picnic benches.

The petting zoo is the best, so many different animals and with no charge to access feeding them, it's such a great way to entertain the family.Be sure to go during the 4th of July, they throw the best party in the park and firework show I've ever been to.

What a great place to have the Ducktail Run Car Show. They put more asphalt down, making the cruise so much more dust free. Thank you for all your efforts, and all of the improvements! Again, what a great place for the Ducktail Run Car Show.Restrooms: Plenty of restrooms, which were clean as well.

We go over there every year for the 4th of July and watch fireworks and get food and check out all the vendors. It's a great ti.e and one of the best shows around.Playground: Yes has 1 for all kidsRestrooms: Has them alsoPicnic area: Has lots of places for picnics or cooking out.

This park is absolutely beautiful. It has 2 different play grounds for children. It has a lake in the middle of it that makes the view quite stunning. There is also a grandstand toward the back of the park for upcoming live entertainment. Last, you have to visit the park the last week of September for the huge car show that they put on called the Ducktail Run. It's one of the biggest car shows, probably in the mid-west, in my opinion. If u love classic cars, then this is the place to be. During the last week of September, the park starts to open its gates to the car show on Wednesday. Thursday is the cruise in car show at the Gas City High School. Friday and Saturday is absolutely awesome as classic cars come from all over the United States. Sunday, is the last day of the car show, which wraps up the weeks events with the award ceremony. This year there was over 2,000 cars. Maybe even 3,000 cars.

there was food in the vending machine. but it would not dispense. if you come here bring your own food for the animals. along with that the first animal pictured there's a hole in that animals jaw.

The petting zoo is amazing!! It is such a great place to take the kiddos. It was a unique experience and we will do it again. It is not everyday you find this oppurtunity FOR FREE. As a family of 8, with 6 kids under age 12, we all voted it a 10/10. They loved every bit of it. There are plenty of animals to make the drive worth it. (50min drive for us) Even adorable tiny baby goats. They definitely love fruit, veggies and crackers. (Those need to be purchased before arriving to the park) They also offer 25 cent vending machine, located at the feeding area. No bread!The park was also decent. Typical public park, imo, could use some repairs but also much better than many other options. I enjoyed most the seperation in big parks and a private gated park for toddlers. The gate was a huge bonus considering its next to a lake.Will definitely return again for the petting zoo! If any request at all, it would be more accessible details about the petting zoo. Either via website or a sign, ex: months open, times, good/bad foods, etc

You can take your kids to play on the playground equipment, or you can take them to feed the various animals they have at the zoo. You can have a picnic or just take a nature walk. There is always something to do and it is free...unless you pay a quarter for a bag of food to feed the animals! If it is raining, you can sit in your car and watch the ducks and geese play and race around the pond. Or you can watch the little beavers and their Momma swim back and forth working all day long like busy little beavers do!!! The Gas City Park is truly a magical place that we are all so extremely lucky to have!!!!

Great place for free for all ages. Bring carrots. Lettuce apples and the animals will go crazy , theres a feed machine with bags of feed for 25 cents but they dont seem to like it . cute ol playground logs of run soace ,little pond to walk around .

They have a petting zoo & June 10th was my first time there. If you have kids this would be a good place to go because it don't cost to get in & if you want to feed the animals it only cost 25 cents.

I grew up years ago going to this park. I came back after 30 years for a baby shower. Nice place to visit. Just miss the small zoo that use to be there

I took my dog to the Underdog Salvation doggie paddle fundraiser and then to the animal area in the park - totally surprised and impressed by the variety of animals living together there. Highly recommend this place!

I love this park! It's big it's beautiful. There's a giant pond in the middle of it as well as a petting zoo. It's only a quarter to feed the animals. There is a dog run. And trails to walk with a bridge over the creek.

The food vending machines for the animals was completely empty and the one that had a few bags left wouldn’t work. So we picked up crackers off of the ground and made do!

Wonderful experience. Great weather and beautiful cars. People were friendly, and food that was available was very good and convenient. Restrooms were very accessible and clean. Very pet friendly, some beautiful pets were on hand.

Good little place to take the kids. They have a couple of playgrounds for different age groups, real old-school burn-your-butt metal slides, and some animals to look at. Some of the playground equipment could use some maintenance and repair, but it's still usable and the kids don't seem to mind.
