I can't say enough about how helpful and amazing this place is. Ken and Trish run a clean and caring business, as well as being great people. They will treat your dog like family. Our doodle Scout goes crazy every time he sees me pulling in here and gets all the pets from the staff. Highly recommend for all your 🐕 needs!!

We originally came to Fremont Dog Lodge for swimming lessons for our two young Old English Sheepdogs. And at the second lesson of me getting pulled into the pool area by them Ken said I can help you with that! I called and we had one session with just the younger dog and a second session with both dogs. After the first session she was able to walk with a loose leash and not drag me. After the second session I was able to walk both of them on a coupler! Ken is the perfect mix of firm and tough but still loves dogs enough to give them pets when they are doing what they should be. I can’t recommend their facility enough, and I will be back when I need more human training.

We bring our dog there for boarding abd also bring him there to get his nails trimmed regularly. Staff is caring and professional and we know our dog gets the best care there. They have dog bed cots so dogs don't have to sleep on the floor. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to board their dog or just to get their dog groomed and /or nails trimmed.

I have an English bulldog, and he LOVES getting groomed by Scott and Michelle. He gets excited when we pull in and will drag you into the building and right up to the grooming area! They are also fantastic for training and boarding!

I’m posting today because I believe small businesses don’t get enough reviews. We use the services and go on our way. So. I’ve been bringing our dog Franklin to the Fremont Lodge for boarding and grooming for some time now. Franklin is an older poodle, a spoiled child one might say,yet very loving.It was very hard to board him. The staff was attentive and appeared to really love dogs… Franklin included. When we picked him up we were not disappointed. The pictures they posted during the week were very reassuring that he was doing well.Grooming has always been rough for him, he had a bad experience when he was a puppy which has made it hard for every groomer since. It has been a slow process with our groomer but through her patience and love he now trusts her. It makes it easier to drop him off . He looks like a show dog when we pick him up! Very good groomers!!!The front desk is always cheerful and readyto help with what ever you need! Makes you feel special ( actually. They are the special ones!! )Freemont Dog Lodge is your one stop dog lodge! Great training. Grooming and boarding. Oh I didn’t even mention the wonderful store all things for dogs! Stop and check them out!!!

Knowledgeable, friendly staff. My friend was bringing her dog in for grooming. This was the first time for her to come here for grooming. Michelle got right down on the floor and introduced herself. She was very gentle with her and she did a super job on her grooming!

I only use Trish and Michelle and their entire team for all of my boarding and grooming needs. They just redid their already beautiful and gigantic establishment. It’s very nice. The dogs get let outside often to go potty and both of my dogs just love it there. And I know that every staff member personally knows every dog. ❤️❤️❤️ I Love The Fremont Dog Lodge !!!

While visiting the area from NC, we needed a local boarding facility for a portion of our trip. After reading reviews, I called Fremont Dog Lodge and they patiently answered all of my questions before I made a reservation. They were flexible and very understanding with us. We needed to get on the road hours before they opened on Sunday and they allowed us to pick up early. Some weather came in to the area that we wanted to beat and they also let us add a day to our reservation last minute. The price for boarding is extremely reasonable and you can’t beat it for the service.

About a month ago I took my two great Pyrenees to the Fremont dog Lodge for the second time before I did this I made two phone calls to them asking for them to be trimmed short for the summer because my dogs enjoyed going to the lake and with shorter hair it works out better for him on both occasions I was assured they do that I paid $$360 I was charged $30 more six months later than the last visit was and sadly to say they never turn my dog short even though I called and spoke to them three days before the dogs arrival to their grooming appointment and was assured again they would trim them short I’m guessing I’m looking for a new grandma now

I went to my first puppy class last night and the woman at the counter and the man running the class were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Even with an extremely intrusive woman asking tons of irrelevant questions and keeping the class 20 minutes late 🙄, he was completely calm and handled her beautifully. I can't wait until next week when we can bring our dogs!

This is a wonderful family owned facility. very clean. Staff is friendly and are very well informed. They treat your dog as if it was their own. Great classes for training. Lots of well known brands of items for purchase. Prices are very reasonable.5 star - for sure!

Gave wonderful advice about my dogs reactive behavior around other dogs. Worked with him on that. My dog was very responsive to him and his methods. No harsh discipline and a lot of praise when he did things right. Am continuing training with him.

The best kernel around! They treat your dog like family and I feel so at ease leaving my fur baby here. 💕 When I went to pick my dog up, I watched at the door as they got my dog out for me, that he was so playful and was jumping up on them, no fear or anxieties, he was completely enjoying his time here. And I love that they post pictures on fb. I enjoyed looking at them and seeing him while we were on vacation.
