Anyway ..fantastic place for adults and the kids ...excellent frozen custard and plenty of choices ...great service to boot gotta keep these little places going folks GO GET SOME ha ha. For $7.10 I would expect to get more Carmel and chocolate, as you can see in this picture, it's all on the bottom, and none on the top. I had to dig down the side to get any syrup. By the time I got to it my ice cream was gone, so it was like eating plain vanilla ice cream. Not sure I'll be back here anytime soon.

We stopped here for a heat beating treat and were not disappointed. Generous portions and very fast service. This place is Awesome and everyone loved what they ordered. Will definitely return.

We love Ritters however the last THREE times we’ve gone there’s been hair - long hair - in our ice cream. On our way to Ritters this last time my son was talking about how he didn’t want to go because he seems to always find hair. Sure enough as he was eating he pulled a long hair out of his cup. I’m not leaving this review to be a grump but to suggest your employees wear a hair net ☺️

Our order was quick and correct except for one, when one of our party ordered a simple vanilla with chocolate chips on top, everyone of us and the 3 people in line behind us were served before her order came out

The original! We love this location. When we lived in Franklin this was a treat! Visiting family tonight and had to make a stop. Busy! Fast service inspite of being busy.

The ice cream is great, lots of flavors and toppings. They also have Italian ice if you’re in the mood for something fruity. Outdoor seating to enjoy the nicer days with family and friends, just not the most picturesque location being off of 31, neighboring gas stations. Maybe take it to-go to the park if you want a nice place to enjoy your treat.

The custard speaks for itself. However, the unmotivated staff, no matter how much money you pay them, are incapable of delivering Ritter's quality in the fact that they are too lazy to do it right.

Usually I have great experiences at this ritters. Tonight, not so great. I ordered our usual. Got my brownie sundae. The brownie was extremely hard and the sundae had barely any fudge. I walked up to the window and was greeted by the young man who said “oh we are not allowed to remake it. I can give you a new brownie” I didn’t want a new brownie. I paid 6.10 for my sundae it should have been remade. I threw it away. I asked the kids name to contact their manager and was told “it’s against policy to give out our names” Not only are prices a dollar higher here than Indianapolis the employees are rude and unprofessional

10/10 would recommend to a friend. It's just delicious! Tons of different toppings you can try in your Glaciers. Shakes are great and the sundaes are perfect. Highly recommended if you're in need of a cold treat.

Had a great time here. Wish there were still locations closer to where I live. The frozen custard is fantastic. Italian ice was a lovely surprise. Service was quick and friendly. Can't wait to come back.

I enjoy Ritter's and have been eating custard there for years. It's definitely a local favorite and a good place to take people who are out of town for a special treat. Flavors of custard change daily, except for the standard chocolate and vanilla. You can check flavors on Facebook, website, or just call. They also have Italian gelato available and other frozen treats. They make fresh lemon shake ups too. It's a walk up service counter so only outdoor seating available. Keep in mind this place can be extremely busy at times in the summer. However, service is usually good and friendly even at the busiest times. Only downside is the cost, it's definitely more expensive for "ice cream". You can tell the quality and portions are good so that justifies the price. For our family, we like to save money by just going and buying a quart or 2. Much cheaper than individual items for our family of five. I highly recommend trying this place if you are in the area and looking for a sweet treat!

The one attendant that was there was quite unpleasant. The order prepared okay but it was put together real rapidly and kind of slammed on the counter. I don't know if I really like the attitude or anything else and I had to ask for napkin she was in a big hurry to get back to whatever video game was in the back room.

Disappointed by this location tonight. Drove from another city based on their website listed flavors & upon arrival found out none of them were accurate. It advertised fresh banana which is my all time fave & 20 min drive each way to be let down. If flavors are on the website then they really need to be updated daily.

This place is great for diabetes! Highly recommended for coranary artery disease as well. It's a staple of the town with good service. For a value play ask to see the quart list.

Best Ice Cream in Franklin. It's sad to hear the location in Columbus shut down a couple years ago. This was one of our favorite places to go to in the summer. Still would recommend

Great frozen custard..BUT: I have had two bad experiences with them in the past 2 weeks. The most recent one was when I ordered a PB and chocolate chip cookie dough glacier, and they gave me a PB and chocolate chip glacier (no cookie dough). No big deal right? I informed the girl there that I asked for cookie dough, and she said "oh I heard choc chip". Then she just stood there and smiled. I asked if she could correct the order and she said it would cost more and looked at me like I ruined her day. I'm pretty sure she just didn't want to do any more work since they were closing in 5 min...but it really made me mad that I was treated like it was my fault over a few dollars worth of ice cream. If they didn't hire rude high schoolers it would be a much better place.

Truly a Franklin staple, everyone who's local knows about Ritter's and many prefer it as their ice cream shop of choice. Easy access and visible from the street, it's hard to miss and even harder to forget.
