A great little place to grab some dinner or ice cream. A wide variety of ice cream, shakes, and malts to choose from! They also have flurries which are basically blizzards. Marshmallow coke is also a unique but good thing to try! The staff also was super helpful and friendly

I've been patronizing the place since I had my own money to spend. The food is good, the ice cream is very good.BUT they are so slow!! The owners get very defensive when people complain about speed saying "we aren't fast food, we are good food, fast!". But not even that is true. On my most recent visit, I ordered in the drive through at 8:30. I was instructed to pull away and wait. At 9:30, after watching patron after patron order, get food and leave, I went inside and the cashier quit her cleaning duties to offer to take my order. I informed her I already ordered an hour ago. She assured me it was almost ready. 20 additional minutes, later, I received my order fresh off the grill. This was the last straw for me. I might take my family here for ice cream sometimes...but not for food. And that's sad to be so frustrated that supporting local wonderful people like this is a CHORE.

Good place for a huge variety of of ice cream shakes and malts. Almost overwhelming one might say, they have a huge selection of everything ice cream related as well as unique soda flavors. The prices aren't too bad and everyone here seems to be part of the local community. Nice place to visit from out of town.

Reasonable wait to order at countet. Reasonable wait to receive order. Not friendly or helpful. No restroom. Accessible for wheelchair or walker. Can stay in car for carhop order but slow. Fried mushrooms average. No refill on drink. Tenderloin average. Ordered soft serve but didn't get it Do not intend to stop here again.

Wife and I always stop for ice cream when we travel across northern Indiana. This is our second favorite place. Nice selection, good service, and prices are okay. We only buy ice cream. My only gripe is the straw size. Need a larger diameter straw like our favorite spot. Anyway, will continue to stop here when in the neighborhood.

This is one of the best local places around. It's well known in the area for their delicious ice-cream and tasty menu options.The staff are always polite, courteous, and prompt. We look forward to the Patio opening every Spring, it's a great local treat for our family on nice summer days.

The place is a Gem in the state. The food is great and fresh, the staff are young at this place, so I did not expect much. Pleasantly surprised that they were so polite and upbeat and ready to help with suggestions for new customers. I eat there every time I go through the town ( they are closed in the winter) and I have never been disappointed. Love the place.Terry

Favorite spot to pull in and get ice cream on the drive from Michigan City. Friendly staff. Outdoor and indoor seating areas. plenty of parking, even for a larger vehicle. More than just ice cream... nice menu of sandwiches. You can also get ice cream cakes and other house made treats. We had a parfait that was pre-made in the case... vanilla and chocolate soft serve layered with cookie crumbles and Heath Toffee! Clean and well ran. We'll be back... again... and again!

It was very bust when we arrived. It took a while to get our icecream. It was worth the wait.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly environment. There are a few interactive gumball(bouncy ball) machines in the front to keep the kids entertained while you wait. Great variety of icecream the kids would love.

This is an amazing place the owner is very nice and all of his staff is very helpful their food is always delicious they have the most amazing root beer that's what me and my family get every time we go there. They have a great selection when it comes to ice cream you can get fresh dipped yogurt ice cream.

Best place to eat in town! They have amazing ice cream and desserts and even better burgers and food. The menu is HUGE so you can get practically whatever you want (which can be a bad thing at times). The service is always good and the owner loves to meet the guests that come in. This place have won its fair share of awards through the years and it’s truly fantastic.

Fast friendly service and great food their chicken strips are to die for and their burgers are mouth-watering.. just went to patio last night on the way down to the Tippecanoe River and this time we ordered the broasted chicken it was out-of-this-world. if you're in the area you have to stop I will be stopping more often thanktthank you patio drive in

Got a soft serve vanilla ice cream cone and it tasted pretty good! They also have burgers, fries, and other food items. There are also 24 other flavors of soft serve ice cream. Nice little place to stop and get food!

Very good food and made sppedily. Just make sure if you order at the drive thru to pull away from the window after you pay. There's no sign saying to do so but apparently people just know to do so.

Ice cream is great but the food can be lackluster. I love the wraps but their fries ALWAYS seem to be undercooked :( hope to see this change! I don't like soggy potatoes....

A real nice, hometown drive-in. Love the nostalgic aire it offers inside of the local town history. Awesome food and shakes/ice cream specialties. A taste of, "home".

Driving through town, I always love mom and pop places. Had a burger and fries. Pretty darn good have lots of icecream for deserts and interior shows off town. Would stop again no problem.
