There were no raccoons that attacked me from the rafters above. That was a big positive. It was a big win. Most small towns I visit usually have kangaroos that wanna box me, or raccoons that want to rob me of my Circuit City coupons. I was gonna go see The Land Before Time 15 across the street, but the aroma of the chicken bacon ranch wrap pulled me in. Also, all the ladies behind the counter are so cool. I bet they could all do awesome cartwheels or give the best high-fives. They are disciplined to their craft. I would recommend SunDog Cafe to anybody that visits the big metropolis of Fowler, Indiana.Wu-tang! 👐

This place is AMAZING. My wife is originally from Crown Point, and I from Merrillville. We have lived in Florida, Arizona, and California 3 times. This place could compete with the coffee shops anywhere. This place reminds me of coffee shops in San Diego, or San Francisco. My wife took the day off today just so we could drive down there hr & half. We split the Scott burrito, and biscuits and sausage Gravy. And we both got grasshopper Latta (peppermint mocha) I had the 20oz my wife had the 16oz. $26.00 . This would easily be $40.00 pluss at the blackbird in Valpo. The service is great. It was fast and polite, but not fake. They cut the burrito put it on separate plates a long with the biscuits and gravy. Love this place we'll definitely do another trip. BTW accidently stumbled across this place a yr ago whe looking at some properties down there.

Absolutely love this place! My bestie and I meet on Sat mornings during the colder months to sit and have a specialty coffee and catch up. But believe me.....they have yummy food and desserts they make. I had "The grinch" specialty drink with expresso added and it was sooooo good! The employees are absolutely fabulous here too.Parking: There's always street parking or a lot next to the Fowler theater across the street.Kid-friendliness: They get kids in there all the time. My grandkids like cake pops when available.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get wheelchair or walker in and can sit at a lower table just fine

Stopped in today for the first time. Had a breakfast wrap and an iced mocha with a shot of caramel added in. BEST coffee I've had in a LONG time. I absolutely loved the food and coffee. Staff was wonderful and kind. Service was quick and the prices were super reasonable! 100% recommend!

This was an excellent little gem that we found. Place is run by two sisters and the menu is great with well prepared items and daily specials. The coffee and tea drinks are excellent. They also some very unique little desserts like 'cheesecake filled croissants'... 🙂A must visit!

Driving south down US 41 in Indiana is certainly not the restaurant capitol of the world, but if you find yourself near Fowler, you have take that 5 minute jog from the hwy to Sundog Cafe. Pleasant atmosphere filled with positive energy and fresh menu selections. Try the mango lemonade and don’t leave without their delicious homemade deserts!

Recently went here and it's a nice little cozy place. The seating area is nice. They have oats, drinks, etc. The prices are kind of high but the food quality is always delicious.I like to get the Cuban sandwich. They make the food in front of you, the servers are very nice and welcoming.

First time visitor yesterday for lunch. I had the chipolte chicken panini, lemonade smoothie, and coconut pie. The sandwich was really messy. It tasted much better when I ate the 2nd half later on in the day. The pie was soggy in the bottom and the smoothie was good. I'll probably get a different flavor of both next time I visit. The shop was cute! Boutique items for sale, small tables to sit at, cozy atmosphere.

Just stopped in yesterday for the first time. Katie was the wonderful person I met there.I’ve had family live in the area for about 2 years. After experiencing other small businesses in nearby small towns, most are hit or miss. This place should never be missed for anyone. Fowler isn’t known for much, but I think it should be this place. It reminds me a lot of the suburban chicago hipster cafes but everyone is invited, not just the young. Great food, service and coffee for a lot less than starbucks. Healthier too, food is homemade. I loved the smiles and music. Fowler is sosmall that parking is never an issue and while it looks small there is some seating inside.

Great place to eat! Always fresh food made right infront of you when you order! Everyone is always nice and happy to help! Very clean and cozy place to bring the family. Have been to events that they have catered and the food was wonderful! I have even called in pick up orders and its hot and ready when I get there!

I love stoping by this wonderful cafe! They always have the best attitudes everyone always has a smile and are so helpful when you aren’t sure what you want! Also they take time to get to know their customers it’s like family here ❤️For a small town business the prices are wonderful as well

If you haven't had a chance to visit Sundog Cafe then you should make that a priority! It's a great place to get coffee, food, snacks, and peruse some of custom items for sale! Legitimately one of my favorite places to start the morning! Their Breakfast wrap is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

When the joint first opened they had a delicious chorizo breakfast burrito that reminded me of the chorizo burritos I ate as a kid growing up in Texas. (I’m Hispanic btw) can’t get anymore authentic than that. My work schedule hasn’t allowed me to order one but I hope they still ‘Carrie’ it. Lol. Go see the friendly staff. Especially Carrie, she will make you day and you will make hers.
