Libby’s Ice Cream is absolutely your best option as an alternative for wedding cakes in the Indy area! To start, their ice cream tasting is phenomenal. We were overwhelmed with all their flavor options - in a good way! After deciding to go with ice cream for our wedding day we already knew Libby’s was the way to go, she was a delight to work with in helping us narrow down our flavors and working up a quote. We never felt like we were being upsold or pushed to spend more than we wanted. Past that, they were solid with communication, the ice cream showed up on time and as expected (looking PHENOMENAL), and tasted AMAZING! We got so many compliments from our wedding guests on it. Overall - highly, highly recommend!

I love your ice cream selection and the pup cups! This is one of my favorite places to go for ice cream, and they also have cotton candy. They have a bit of shopping, too. You never know what you're going to find in there.

Everything about this little piece of heaven is lovely! The ice cream, variety of dishes (smoothies, shakes, sundaes, slushies, tornadoes, sorbet, twisters, ice cream sandwiches, about 15 toppings/add-ons, they even have gluten-free ice cream sandwiches and cones!), books, couples games, toys, gifts; they’re all incredible! We are lifetime customers, love our little ice cream shop ♥️

This is by far my favorite local ice cream store! It's a combination ice cream and toy store and the ice cream flights are the cutest! You get 4 flavors per flight; such a good way to try and share several flavors! Their waffle cones are good as well.

Delightful. My husband and I love the lists of “bests,” and this was listed as one of the Best Ice Cream places in Indy. Obviously had to come as well, since my name is Libby! The ice cream was delicious and the flight was the best!!! So impressed. Such a fun stop in Fortville!

The ice cream is delicious, with the right amount of selections and options for cups, cones, sundaes, and splits. Lots of choices in the toppings department. There are some other treats for the kids like cake pops and candies. They even sell dog biscuits if you brought puppy along (but not inside according to the "No Pets Allowed" sign on the door). This place had games and toys for sale in case your little ones aren't satisfied with the confections.Staff was super-friendly and obviously know how to make kids feel welcome. We made the short drive into town and stopped in for an ice cream. Always a fun break for the whole family.

What an adorable place to have a treat! The staff there is courteous and helpful! This was my first visit, but won’t be my last, Lord willing! I sampled the berry smoothie, creamsicle flavor, and key lime. The flavors are refreshing, and so is the seating area. They have cute gifts for sale for young and old.If you’re looking for a bright spot to take your kids or just to get away for a bit, this place is highly recommended.

My family had visited this lovely business for the last couple years before the Fourth of July Fortville fireworks, and we’ve always had a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely kind, and the owner Jeff, was a delight! The strawberry and graham central ice cream was delicious, and they have adorable gifts to purchase. Beautiful store, I would certainly recommend them.

Amazing service, amazing interior, and (most importantly) the ice cream and other sweets are delicious! They occasionally rotate flavors for the adventurous and keep the classics and favorites for the regulars. Have you tried the sticky chocolate ice cream? It’s worth a try.

Tried Libbys for the first time and wasn't impressed at all. For the price we paid we expected a little more. The ice cream itself wasn't anything to write home about. The customer service was ok. The amount of ice cream you get is not very much compared to somewhere like Handles. Was really hoping for a better experience.

This was our first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The shop is cute and cozy inside and we really enjoyed the seasonal decor. The ice cream was delicious and the staff was super helpful and friendly!

I think Libby’s is great. The ice cream was a wonderful consistency-creamy but thick and doesn’t melt fast. However, I would suggest adding MORE. By that I mean more cookie dough pieces or more caramel. Other than that, I would 100% recommend this place!

Very rude and unfriendly cashiers. My family and I visited because of the Mount Comfort PTO fundraiser and the two young female cashiers were rude. As we were making our selections, the cashier never said a word to us. Never offered us to try different flavors as she did with other customers. We sat and ate our ice and watched as other customers who looked different from us were treated kind with great service. Please train your staff to give good customer service to ALL customers. I will never return.
