I love it there. They treated my dog really good. Got her nails trimmed and they look excellent. And everyone was really nice and really good with the dogs. I'm definitely bringing her back.

Now, I debated on writing this review but based on how they are handling the reviews it is clear they are not taking responsibility for what is going on in their facility. They are also attempting to control the narrative of this by having individuals write positive reviews and not allowing comments on their facebook page.We have used this facility twice now. The first time I would have rated it a 4/5. The only issue at that time is that my dog, who does not have anxiety, came back to us and had licked her jowls to the point of bleeding. Staff was worried about it and only thing that might have been better care would have been to call me.This most recent time though is horrendous. Firstly when we called they made it sound as if there was a general upper respiratory infection going around all the kennels, compared it to sending your child to daycare. Then when we get there have us sign a waiver, stating they are not responsible for any sickness but again was played off as if this was not a big deal.We get our dogs back and again my dog had bleeding the jowls but this time no discussion. Then both of them developed this terrible cough, one of our dogs is incredibly frail and we have been to the vet twice in the last week and we are working hard to make sure he does not develop a pneumonia, because he may not make it through that. To be clear, per my discussions with associates of mine who work in the veterinary business, this is the only kennel near by with a current outbreak.This kennel has shown that they do not care about dogs and only profit. They should have made it clear on the phone that they have a current outbreak in there kennel and then again when we dropped off the dogs. Although at that time it would have been too late because we were leaving immediately after. They need to shut down and do a deep cleaning for the good of their clientele. They will likely respond and say their vet said it was ok but I highly doubt that a medical professional would make such a broad statement, I am sure they would have said to not bring our frail dog there.

I am so disappointed in this facility. My daughter worked there and they did not give her enough information On a dog. They didn’t warn her first that this dog was old and since she was in training, they should’ve informed her or given the dog to somebody else. The dog got hurt and evidently they had to put the dog down. They put everything on my daughter and she got the brunt of it and lost her job. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, and I would not have given it any stars, but I had to in order to rate it.

I took my dog there once and ended up suing them. My dog left there so bruised his skin started to die and he went through months of suffering and Von Aries refused to pay all the vet bills they were responsible for. The owners were rude from the start and do not seem to be knowledgeable about grooming or to love animals. The court ruled that Von Aries was negligent in my dog’s grooming. I gave them a star only because zero wasn’t an option. They’re actually blaming us for what they did, saying he was in renal failure. We told them he had sensitive skin when we dropped him off. Two vets and lab tests proved there was no underlying condition as they claimed. They say it was about money, but it was about what they did to Whisper.

I had my two dogs boarded for a week while I was on vacation and I have to say this was the BEST experience of any facility I have been to by far. Von Aries is clean, the staff is kind and my dogs were happy! This is what matters to me most, thank you Von Aries for a great experience! Highly recommend!! 🐕

Todd, our 10 month old Golden Retriever just completed his “Puppy Program” for grooming and it was the best deal ever!3 grooming appointments for the price of one to slowly introduce him and desensitize him to the overall process. He loves his groomer Brittney and we were told he was a well behaved boy! He smells and looks fabulous! Win! Win!

*UPDATED* 8/17/23 As the veterinarian on record for Von Aires- I have personally examined their kennel property and cleaning/disinfecting protocols. I have advised on such protocols and see pets at my practice from all over Allen County and NW Ohio. To show even more background to my personal commitment - I board and groom my own personal pets there- and have done so 3 times since this mini epidemic has started.The past 2 months especially I have seen an unprecedented number of respiratory coughing dogs at my practice in Woodburn. These dogs have all had the commonality of recently visiting a kennel, day care, or grooming facility. There have been more than 6 different facilities and counting that these pets have been to - not just one. That is because this isn’t a facility specific pathogen- it is carried by the dogs and frequently spread in the air before they are even symptomatic, just like C 19 for us. Only 2 of the countless dogs didn’t respond within a week to standard respiratory treatment and needed additional medication. All have resolved back to normal.I have spoke with regional animal health representatives, infectious disease pathologists, and other veterinarians. The consensus is that this a respiratory disease variant that is very contagious and very pathogenic in some pets leading quickly into pneumonia even. There have been hundreds of respiratory panels sent off to disease labs only to come back negative for all typical pathogens. It is very much affecting both Fort Wayne area and Indianapolis alike.***Some tests in the area are starting to come back positive for canine Influenza Virus***Similar to C 19 in people, if your pet is ill, immunocompromised, or you are just unwilling to take the risk- keep them home and do not board, groom, or send them to day care if at all possible. If you do have to take them- be aware there is a contagious pathogen going around that may or may not infect your pet. Von Aires is doing their part to minimize the risk, but unless all dogs that came in lived in their own hepa filtered 100% controlled bubble- avoiding all risks is impossible to expect.

Please don’t take your dog here. I have seen so many injuries and neglect to the animals that are taken here. All these good reviews are fake and definitely paid for. The amount of pet deaths I have seen because of their carelessness is a disgrace. Animals get loose and injured constantly. They are so rough with the animals they groom they come out bloody and bruised and hair matted!! Ridiculous. This business needs to be closed down. Taking your sweet pup here is a death sentence.

The kennels seemed small for my 30-pound dogs. But they permitted my 2 dogs in the play area/relief area together.The staff removes the dogs' collars during their whole stay at the kennel so they don't get snagged on anything. But when we picked up our pooches, the staff had mixed up their collars, with the result being that the one was very loose (on my puppy) and the other was very tight (on my bigger dog.)One of my dogs apparently didn't eat well cuz he felt much lighter. (But that can happen at any kennel.) However the staff didn't mention his not eating well when we came to pick them up.

First time boarding and for a week caused some anxiety on my end but I can attest from the moment the grounds came in site till pick up my nerves were relieved and any questions as to this facilities capabilities were answered. I won't send her anywhere else. Period. The price is very very reasonable. Staff is so so personable. This facility sets the standard in the business and most of all their pride in who they are shows in everything they do. THANK YOU!

So I have an aggressive Cane Corso and this is the best place for him. They have big, private kennels for this specific type of dog. They have it setup where everything is hands off so no accidents happen with someone getting bit but yet he can still go outside. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Only negative thing I would say is that it is a little pricey but its worth the money knowing your pet is in good hands with a good safe place for him.

Extremely professional when speaking with them and my dogs looked great. Both my dogs require extra care and that wasn't an issue at all. The biggest factor is that I feel safe leaving my dogs in their care. I would schedule earlier than you think. They book up fast because they are leaders in their field.

I have been using Von Aries for over 3 years now. I couldn't be happier with their services. I have a 4 yr old GSD and a 4 yr old Explosives K9 Mal/GSD mix that can be a handful. I often get called last minute to travel with my K9 and Von Aries has always tried to get him in for a grooming prior to travel if they can. I am extremely happy with their services and would recommend them to anyone. I deal with the public every day. During these times I know it can be tough to deal with people and you cant make everybody happy. Never the less, every time I enter Von Aries the staff has always been Courteous, Kind and Professional. Kudos to you and your staff!!

I had my dog boarded there over a long weekend and when I got her back she was absolutely filthy. Her fur was crusted and she reeked of urine. She was also appeared desperate to get outside as soon as possible. She didn’t walk normally instead she was crouched low to the ground and looked very scared. I was disappointed to say the least, especially after seeing how well it had been rated. We have never had issues when boarding her at our normal place. Will not be bringing my dog there ever again, especially after the rude interaction over the phone.

Have been using this business for years. They always take care of our dog Bella. They have groomed her once a month, and we have boarded her twice. Excellent experience every time. Very good with communication and we have never been disappointed.

Recommend for boarding! My dog Stella has stayed here quite a few times. Before boarding at Von Aries she had shown some aggression towards other boarders and other dogs. When I told the Von Aries staff about my situation, they took the necessary precautions and did everything they could to make Stella more comfortable and less fearful. I also appreciate Von Aries responses when I call to check in on her while she is staying with them.

Our family was referred to Von Aries for our grooming needs and today was Archie's first visit. We had warned the staff about our worries that his past groomer had abused him physically based on his responses when he came home from a trimming. Without being present for any of his past haircuts we could only assume that he was bad or tried to bite the groomer and as a result he was hit.Archie is one of our 3 babies and the staff at Von Aries treated him as one of their own family members. I took a break during my work day to check on him and they said he was doing better than they anticipated.Brittany, our groomer, did a wonderful job and for once our little boy came home acting like a dog who was never hit or abused.My wife was very impressed with their facility and how they made sure to have Archie as comfortable as he possibly could.Our hats are off to the entire staff for the Red Carpet Service that they provided today.Many thanks

Horrible Experience!!!!My dog came home smelling like complete urine. His bed was soaked with urine.I am completely disgusted. I expected better from this kennel, Knowing of some reviews that were great. The people were nice but our dog was not taken care of the way he should have been! We even paid for him to be groomed and he still came home smelling like he wasn't taken out to use the bathroom.

This place is amazing! My girlfriend and I have a Dalmatian named Zeus and he is people/animal agressive and is quite bad. We went on a family vacation for 8 days and decided to board Zeus with Von Aries! It is the best decision we have ever made. We were very nervous about potential issues, however no issues happened. They were professuonal and helpful most of all, experienced/knowledagble. We didnt receive any calls and were able to check up whenever we needed. Von Aries made it possible for us to relax and not worry about the well being of our dog while 16 hours away! Thank you Von Aries!!!!

I had brought two of our dogs, a coonhound and a bloodhound, over for doggie daycare but had never boarded them. We were having concrete work done and the contractor showed up days early! I called Von Aries, with no notice, and they were great and took Sarge and Sadie right away! Our dogs love Von Aries and are always excited when they know where we are! The staff are very friendly and professional. We highly recommend them to anyone!

Brad installed the underground fence and it works great. Then Laurie and Brad came back out to make sure all was going well with the fence and dog training. Very reasonably priced. This is a great place. We also started dog training with them, it's been a great experience.
